Chris's POV
Mike was acting weird, like something was getting too him.
I didn't want to push it though, I've come to learn that if something bothers him enough he'll tell me, if it's not that bad he won't.
I held his hand all the way back to our house.
he didn't say a word the whole time.
he didn't say a word when we got inside.
he didn't say a word after he showered.
I walked in the bathroom to get my shower.
that only took about 20 minutes.
I walked out and Mike actually did say something
he looked so sad..
"Chris?"
he said with his head down
"Yeah?"
I said sitting next to him.
"There's something wrong here."
"What do you mean?"
I asked curious and kind of worried.
was he talking about our relationship?
"There's something wrong. I just feel it."
"Mike I think you're tired. Just go to sleep. kay?"
"Alright.."
he laid down and we fell asleep.

I woke up to Mike screaming. like bloody murder screaming.
I looked around the room but nothing I was there.
"MIKE"
I tried to yell over his scream but nothing really worked.
I shook him and he woke up.
"Mike what the hell happened."
he looked horrible.
he was breathing heavy, he looked scared out if his mind. and it takes a lot to scare Mike.
instead of answering me he just pulled me close to him and held me.
Mike had bad asthma so I needed his breathing to calm down because his inhaler is god knows where.
"Mike you need to calm down."
I said rubbing his back
he was still breathing heavy.
"Mike you're gonna have an Asthma attack breathe for me.
I noticed he was stating to breathe normal which calmed me down, just a little bit.
I got up and turned on the light and saw that he was crying.
I don't know what the hell is up with him.
"Mike look at me."
he looked up at me.
"You need to tell me what happened."
he sighed
"alright."
even his voice was shaking.
"I honestly don't know, I was asleep. and I like saw this thing hovering over me and I thought it was you. so I smiled and cracked a joke about you being so tall. and it was like a black shadow. and it like jumped on me and started choking me. so of course I started screaming bloody murder. But it took you a few minutes to hear me screaming. By then I thought I was going to die. But you shook me out of it and the thing just disappeared when you turned on the light."
My eyes were wide at this point.
"Mike"
"Yeah?"
"Take off your shirt."
"Why?"
"Do it"
Mike
I took off my shirt as Chris asked and saw a bruise on my chest.
Chris was poking my neck and it hurt.
I didn't want to say anything because I know he's doing it for a reason.
"Go look in the mirror."
Chris said sounding angry.
It takes a lot to make Chris angry so I did as he asked.
looking in the mirror I saw bruises already forming from where the thing choked me.
I walked out and Chris was trying to calm himself down.
I may not know a lot but I know Chris hates when someone hurts someone he loves.
I sat beside him and kissed his cheek.
"it's okay Chris I'm fine."
"You just almost got strangled by god knows what. you are not fine."
"Let's go back to sleep. it'll be fine."
"I'll go to sleep later I'm watching out to see if that thing comes back."
I sighed and instantly fell into a deep sleep.

I checked my phone and it was about 3 am.
I'll stay up until about 4 or 5
I told myself
All I could think about was what happened to Mike..

it was about 5:15
He seems okay. Plus the suns about to rise. He'll be okay.. for now.
I laid down and shortly fell into a light sleep.
