We walked around for the first but just wandering and looking at places. I brought my camera and took pictures of Mason's and the city. Then we stopped off a coffee shop. Not Starbucks though it's too overrated for us.
"You can sit you just want your regular that you get back home?" He asked I nod and find a seat beside the window to watch the busy city with all the cars and people all over the place. This is definitely the dream. I lean on my palm as I stare out at the city with a dreamy sigh. This is all I've wanted to be somewhere in a big city and o have that.
I'm already missing everyone but I texted Lila and lily and even Nathan and my mom obviously even Luke actually. They're all at their new schools also.
"Here" Mason slides a coffee in front of me.
"Thanks" I smile taking a sip its great just like always if anything it's better.
"So what else do you want to do?" E asked as he stared at me from across the small table I shrugged.
"anything" I said with a grin.
"See babe, you're barley even thinking of anyone, you're all good" he says.
"I guess, plus I texted them they're all good" I said.
"Well at least we aren't fighting about it" he chuckles grabbing my hand. "Can we just go back to the dorm it'll be much more fun" he groans.
"But were in New York Mas why aren't you happier and more excited?" I asked.
"Because I have you to be excited about. It's just New York and we have a whole year and more to explore this place" he tells me. It was true but I was in the mood. "Plus we know nothing about it yet so we don't even know where to go" he says. I stare at him.
"I guess you're right" I said.
"Did Maddison Collins just agree with me?" He asked looking around I roll my eyes.
"Do you want me to change my mind?" I asked.
"Chill" he said. "Now hurry and finish your coffee" he says I roll my eyes.
"I just got it, I will take my time" I said sipping it slowly he groans.
"You're doing this on purpose, you're trying to hurt me physically" he says and I laugh a little.
"Sure whatever you think Mason" I nod.
"You're slowly killing me" he tells me and I shrug.
"You can calm your boner Mason" I laughed.
"Nope" he shakes his head I roll my eyes.
"Too bad for you then" I said.
After we finished we started heading back and I captured some photos on the way.
We walk into the door I throw my bag onto the bed and turn around then Mason throws me over the shoulder.
"Took long enough to get here" he tells me throwing me onto the bed and I laugh a little he gets on top of me. "I can never get enough of you" he said his voice low.
"Good, that means you won't leave" I smiled.
"Why would I ever?" He asked.
"You wouldn't just saying" I said grabbing a fist full of his shirt and pulling him closer down so our lips are only millimetres apart.
"I have a feeling we're gonna be together forever Maddie" he says.
"Good" I smiled pulling him the rest of the way kissing him he smiles against the kiss immediately kissing back.
That's when the shrill of a phone rings through our ears and we both pull away Mason groans. He grabs my phone from my bag cause he's closer.
"Bad timing" he says into the phone. Wonder who it is. "No sorry she's actually taking a shower right now" he lies and I give him a look. "I'll tell her you called bye" he says and hangs up.
"Who was it?" I asked.
"It was lila" he tells me my eyes widen.
"Mason no matter what I always talk to her" I push him.
"To her you are in the shower and will call later" he shrugs I roll my eyes.
"If it's Lila next time give it to me" I said.
"Sure whatever you say but I'm not letting her bother my time with you Maddie sorry" he says leaning back down.
"You get the whole year with me" I laughed.
"Well whatever" he shrugs and kissing my neck first. He slowly gets higher. Then he's only an inch away from my lips. "Because whenever we're together no one else matter Mads" he says and kisses my lips. I guess he's right but that's my best friend. She will always matter no matter what.

"Hey sorry Lila I took a shower and all freshened up" I said into the phone when my best friend picked up.
"Oh hey, it's all right" she says. "How is the big apple, how is the busy city?" He asked me.
"Pretty good, really nice the dorms cute we got a little view which is actually really good and I got nice pictures how about you?" I asked.
"Not bad, mark actually spent some days with me then left to his school but everything's not bad at all" she says.
"I miss you" we said in unison then laughed but it died down quickly.
"Yeah I know I really miss you nothing's the same without you" I said.
"Uh...hey! Excuse me I am a pretty good roommate" Mason buts in.
"No way! I'd be way better" Lila yells out.
"She definitely would sorry babe" I nod in agreement.
"I'm hurt and disappointed" he tells me.
"How are you guys? Does it already suck to live with each other?" He asked and I laughed.
"No ifs kinda nice, plus when I get sick of him he can go to the other bed" I say she laughs.
"I guess" she sighs.
"You would never get sick of me, I am amazing" he stares going through his phone and I roll my eyes.
"Sure" I sat with a nod.
"Uhhh, I should've just come there with you guys" he groans.
"Yes you should've it would've been amazing" I state.
"I know but this school is good" she says.
"I guess and we can always Christmas and other breaks" I said.
"Yeah that's good, and we can't even see like Nathan's and lily because they're far" she laughs.
"I need a break from Nathan it's been 17 consecutive years with him" I said she laughs.
"Makes sense" she says. "I should go, my classes start earlier than yours they start tomorrow so I need to prepare ughhhhhh" she tells me.
"Oh my god that sucks, but you go do that love you byeeeee" I said.
"Love you byeeeeeee" she said to and we hung up.
"You do not think that she would be a better roommate do you?" He asked me baffled.
"She's my best friend Mas" I laughed.
"I'm your boyfriend, and the guy that's been around ever since you were born" he tells me.
"True, very true. But it's different we would always pick each their over anyone" I shrugged.
"I get it...it's just kinda disrespectful y'know" he says and I laughed.
"Me and Mason who first?" I asked.
"You, no doubt about it" he didn't even hesitate. Well that was nice.
"Why?" I asked.
"Because you're just as close to me as he is" he shrugs.
"But he's gotta be a little closer, you guys were always by each other's side" I said.
"Yeah but I can't live without you Maddie" he says.
"This isn't life or death, this is just like who to choose" I said.
"Yeah I know" he nods. "I'm not changing my answer."
"You're making me feel like a total bitch" I said it made me kinda want to cry.
"No you aren't it makes sense calm down it's not like it's even real plus you pretty much did choose me you did get accepted into that school to" he tells me.
"I know, but just thinking about this hypothetical and you didn't even hesitate to answer and I didn't even hesitate to answer my best friend" I said.
"Hey that's what makes a good friendship, I know Nathan would choose lily over me" he laughed I pursed my lips. I think I'm getting my period cause I'm emotional. "Babe...I know that look" he says he grabs my arm pulling me into his lap. "Why would you cry?" He asked.
"I don know, I'm emotional I think I'm getting my period and you didn't hesitate so it was sweet and too nice and I don't know" I said as tears spilled from my eyes down my cheeks he wipes them away.
"Don't cry, this ain't a bad moment come on" he kisses my cheek and it kinda make some cry harder.
"Stop being nice, where'd the old you this ones too much" I said.
"Oh believe me it's the old me babe, I'm just telling you the truth" he says with a smirk and I roll my eyes through the tears.
"Shut up" I muttered. He cups my face and kisses me lightly. His lips soft and a tear interfered with the kiss and mingled into it. He doesn't seem to mind he just continues kissing. I pull him closer he kissed to my jaw very slow and the warm kisses moving across my wet cheeks to my jaw then down my neck he angles it up for better access. He goes to my collar bone.
"I love you Maddie" he says.
"I love you too Mason"
I breathed out. He pulls my chin back down and kisses my lips again. He slides his hands down to my lower back pulling me as close as I could get to him.
"You really are goo to drive me crazy already have" he mutters against my lips and I grin.
