My long pink hair covers the page as I sit writing this on the golden sand. I try to remember the first things that happened when I was born. Tears fill my eyes as my memory comes back and reminds me of the heartbreaking moment my mother and I had when i was only a newborn. A mermaid newborn.

"She is amazing..." My mother says cradling me in her arms. A tear falls down her face as she hugs me close. She carries on holding me as we pass the busy streets up to a big building where she drops me in a box and gives me a blanket. "Bye Candy." She says. Then she's off. I stayed out there for what's seemed like hours however I knew my dear mother would not do this.
