Emily's pov
"Girls are you ready to see Santa?"
"Yeah" Lily screams, jumping off of the sofa, onto my back
"Come on cheeky monkeys" Ali smiles as she throws Grace over her shoulder
"Mom" Grace giggles as blood rushes to her head
Alison laughs and delicately places her onto the floor
"Is Santa real?" Lily asks, still clinging onto me
"Of course. If he's not who do you think we are going to see today?" Alison argues
"A fake Santa"
"Lily, Santa is most definitely real" I tell her
"Yeah Lil. Moms are too lazy to get up, they can't be Santa"
"Ehhh...yeah far too lazy" Ali laughs, looking over to me
"Let's go meet Santa and tell him what you want for Christmas"
"Why do we need to tell him? He already knows, we wrote a list"
"Lily shush. If you don't stop asking questions Santa won't give you anything" Alison shouts
Alison wraps Grace and Lily in about 300 layers and they can barley keep their balance with all their clothes pulling them down
"Mom I'm too warm" Grace complains
"That's because you aren't outside yet" Alison says, wrapping a second scarf around Grace's small neck

"Where is Santa?" Grace asks when we get to the mall
"I'm not sure. Look for a fat red man"
"Alison that's rude" I laugh
"What he is fat, you can't have a thin Santa. Em you need to lighten up, not everything I say is bitchy" she laughs as she takes hold of my hand
"There he is" Lily screams with excitement, running towards Santa
"Why hello little girls what would you two like for Christmas?"
"I would like my moms to never fight again and for us to always be a family" Grace tells Santa
Mr. Claus looks up at us and nods his head with a smile
"You would need to ask your mommies about that, is there anything else you would like?"
"No Santa, all I want for Christmas is my mommies to be in love forever. Thank you Santa and merry Christmas" she sweetly smiles, giving him a long hug
"Merry Christmas"
"Is there anything you would like?" He asks Lily
"It's real" Lily says in amazement as she tugs on Santa's beard
"Lily Pam DiLaurentis-Fields let go of Santa right now" I angrily shout
"No it's okay. Lily has been a good girl this year, I know she wouldn't mean to hurt me. Sure you wouldn't?"
"Of course not I just wanted to know if you were real"
"Well Lily, I am real. If I wasn't how would I know that for Christmas the one thing you want is acting lessons because your dream is to become a famous actress in an extremely popular teen drama"
"How did you know that?" Lily asks
"How did he know that?" Alison whispers to me
I shrug my shoulders in confusion
"Because I'm Santa" He smiles
"Oi, Santa before I phone the police and tell them you are a predator who seems to stalk my daughter. You are going to explain to me how you knew that"
"Alison don't be alarmed. Lily and I had this conversation the other week"
Ali's pov
"And why have I not to be alarmed that some creepy guy was talking to my seven year old daughter?"
"I was speaking to both Lily and Grace about Christmas but Grace was to shy to talk to me. I was at your dads on Wednesday when he looked after the girls. I'm your dad's friend, I am the guy who took Pepe" he whispers to me
"What?" I ask jumping back in shock
"I'm your fathers friend" he repeats
"You took Pepe?"
"Em, Santa is a thief" I say to her as I drag her, Lily and Grace as far away from Mr. Claus as possible
"What?"
"He stole Pepe from me"
"Your dog?" Emily asks very loudly
"I didn't know you had a dog?" Grace questions
"She did but only for like a week"
"I just assumed you got rid of him because he found your mom" Emily quietly tells me,
interlocking our hands, making sure that as usual our rings lie flush against each other sparkling with the malls Christmas lights
"Let's go home. We've seen Santa and it's very busy here" Emily smiles as she wraps her arm around my shoulders and buries my head under hers, she kisses the top of my head and then we walk back to the car
Emily's pov
"You seemed upset at the mall. Is everything okay?" I ask Alison, placing two cups of coffee on the living room table
"Yeah I'm fine. I just haven't thought about Pepe for a while. I really missed that dog"
"Would you ever get another dog?"
"I would love a dog" Alison smiles
"What type? I would love a white Maltese"
"I would like a small dog, they are so cute. Just like you" she flirts
"Well Christmas is coming" I smile, eskimo kissing Ali
"Really?" She asks with excitement; like a child in a candy shop
"Maybe Santa can get you one?"
"Speaking of Santa. I'm worried that Lily is growing up. She's losing belief" Alison sighs
"Well what age were you when you found out he isn't real?" I whisper, making sure the girls can't hear me
"I was five but that's because my dad is a terrible parent"
"Well I was ten, my best friend at the time told me"
"You're best friend?"
"Yes, you know my friend I liked the most" I laugh
"Sorry, it's just so weird thinking you had other friends who weren't us"
"Didn't you have a best friend before us?"
"Not really, I had friends but before you I never had a true best friend" Alison smirks
"I love you Alison"
"What?"
"I love you" I smile
"I love you too babe" she blushes
I pull Alison close and kiss her passionately
"This is going to be the best Christmas ever, Lily and Grace are still going to believe and I'm going to buy you a puppy, which I probably should've kept a secret but my last secret almost broke us up"
"Wait so we are actually getting another member of the family?"
"If you want to"
"Emily, I can't wait to share a dog with you. Here's to new firsts" she smiles, kissing me again
"I'm getting a puppy" she squeals with excitement kissing me repeatedly
I am sorry this chapter is late and that it's probably really boring. I have no time to write anymore because I have big exams throughout January that I have to study for, this will be the last week that I can continue to upload until after January; I may upload chapters randomly if I get any time.
