The dawn-Vanoss

The dawn found y/n wide awake,seated on her bed with a troubled expression on her face.
Hot tears began to slip out of her dark murky eyes and fall onto the paper in her hands.
She had received the message three days ago from her friend,Lui,but each time she read it,the terrifying decree sank more deeply into her throbbing heart.
Because of the hatred and pride of one wicked man,her best friends had been condemned to death.
The words pierced through y/n's soul as she flung the parchment from her and fell to her knees.
In the privacy of her bedroom,she cried out to god.
"Why? Why didn't I die instead of them?! Take me too!" Y/n's prayer died to a whisper as a great peace washed over her soul.
Y/n stood up and began to get dressed and she made her way outside of her room and into the base where what's last of the gang stood.
Knowing she would go in before the new leader without being summoned and risk her life for the sake of her friends, she whispered "And if I perish, I perish." And pulled out a gun and aimed it at the man who killed her best friends and husband.
