I looked at him walking ahead he pulled the hood of his black hoodie up as it hung on him loosely with a v-neck t-shirt underneath he unzipped his hoody and pulled the sleeves upto his elbow and ruffled his hair I knew he planted a smile on his face as I had on mine. We had reached the main are of the park and I could tell Emmy and Aaron had driven away..
I walked home slowly and Hayden never looked back...
Emmy's POV
Aaron dropped me home with a lasting head and a confused head. I walked into the house and wondered if Hayden was going to come to mine or go to his, I was sure he was going to avoid me well my interrogation. As I walked in was aware of Vince's demonic eyes I knew, he barely knew but hated me and well it was as annoying as hell.
Vince was the broody mystery guy which every girl found intriguing and drawed them in hoping to become a part of [his] world...
Vince was in our year and I wondered how that was possible because Tabby too was in our year, every time I mentioned him Tabby went quiet so that was a topic I knew to avoid my guess was they were actually not brothers and sisters he or she was probably adopted hence the same age...
I walked into my room and slumped onto my bed, I was confused I wanted to know and help my bestfriend, Tabby was now like a sister to me and I needed to help her too and also this secrecy and confusion was making me and Aaron distant because he knew and I didn't.
I closed my eyes and inhaled and exhaled deep breaths after several moments of failed attempts to calm myself I decided it would be better for me to just have a shower. I got up to get underwear from my wardrobe when a glint of silver caught my eyes it was placed on my windowsill; a small silver colored box I walked over to it and picked it up, It might've been from Aaron.
Come to think of it I was sure I closed my windows before I left the house but there it was open letting in a gentle breeze, I decided to open the box and inside lay a pendant in a heart shape it was beautiful I took it out of the box and felt its smooth silver surface I turned it around and it was encrusted with a purple glittering jewel, instantly I knew it was an amethyst; my birthstone. It was beautiful.
I went over to my jewellery box and picked up the fine white gold chain that was gifted to me from my uncle, I thread it through the pendant and then clasped it around my neck, it hung there shimmering.
I knew I had to thank Aaron he was so thoughtful..
I picked up my phone and went to my recent calls it was undoubtedly Aaron and then I pressed the call button, on the 3rd ring he picked up..
"Hello gorgeous miss me already?" I could just imagine the grin on his face.
"Sssh Aaron, you know why im calling stop acting, I just wanted to say thank you its beautiful" I smiled at his thoughtfulness.
"Er princess what are you on about? Are you still reeling from my handsomeness, delusional from my lasting presence?" the smirk was creeping up.
"Aaron I've seen the pendant no need to act Thank You"
"Ok seriously it wasn't me I wouldn't crunch my wallet for you beautiful I'm not that whipped"
"honestly Aaron be serious no need to prove your manliness it's ok if your whipped" I said teasingly.
"Nope not me try Hayden or something mind I should be weary if it isn't him I might have some competition well actually no ones good enough to compete with me" I could sense his amused reaction.
"it's not you?" I questioned, who could it have been?
"Nope, okay gorgeous I have to go business calls"
"bye" I hung up the phone disheartened who could it have been?
I called Hayden he seemed distant and promised it wasn't him it can't have been Tabby she didn't know my birthday.
Gah I'll find out who it is tomorrow at school.
I showered and went to bed with a uneasy feeling as if I was being watched, I shook my head from such silly thoughts and fell into a sleep but at the back of my head there was a constant tugging I couldn't decipher...

I bobbed downstairs ready early for once and waiting for Aaron as my mom had taken my R8 and I couldn't drive her too big jeep. I opened the front door ready to sit on the porch waiting for him but where I was planning to sit lay a dozen roses on the step. I picked it up and inhaled the roses I searched for a notecard knowing if it was Aaron there'd be one with a smarmy comment, but there wasn't I just knew it wasn't Aaron. I saw Riley's car approaching into my road and he slowed down and waved I smiled and waved back and then as he drove off his quick presence was replaced with Vince's or should I say Vincent the dark demon.
I looked at him and he returned it with a glare we were locked in that position for a whole minute I couldn't hold his fiery stare and looked away towards my feet and slowly looked back up he shrugged and walked away I gave him a quick once over he was wearing black skinny shoes with a purple hoody emblazed with black skulls all over the back and one big once at the centre of his back his black swift straight hair hung sideways covering half his forehead.
Tabby ran out with a granola bar in her mouth, her hair flying behind her and she gave me a quick wave and pointed towards Vincent with her thumb, I got it he didn't like us talking so she didn't infront of him.
"Hey wait up" she called he didn't turn back and as she caught up he pulled his hood up. I saw her weave her skinny arm into his and they walked to school together while I still waited for my very late ride.
Finally after what seemed an age a car flew into my road and halted at my front yard. Aaron came out but from the passenger door before I could get a glimpse of the driver, Aaron came up and swooped me into a kiss it started off light I put my hands on his biceps and in turn he put his hands on the small of my back and I sucked on his bottom lip slowly I felt him lick my bottom lip asking for entrance, I refused punishing him for being late I knew he understood I very rarely denied him access, he growled against my lips and then he started licking my lip I suppressed the moan that built up because of his touch and he continued to suck, once again he licked my lip again I once again refused, slowly I felt his hand crawl into my jeans and it didn't stop he continued to go south I could no longer hold back and I moaned onto his lips and he took the chance to slip his tongue in and he licked the roof of my mouth as I tried to fight him for my place into his mouth.
"Ehem!" I ignored this nagging voice and continued kissing Aaron; I just realized I had faltered in my plan on making him pay for being late I stopped sucking his tongue and instead bit it with some force instantly he let go of me and winced in pain.
"Aagh Emmy what did you do?" he growled but his words weren't properly distinguishable and it sounded as if he had a lisp I laughed at his response to my cheekiness and then realized it was also shared with a third member, I looked behind Aaron and saw Drake? He was guffawing and then pulled Aaron by the back of his sweater.
"Get in bro after dropping you off I have things awaiting me im a busy G"
I heard Aaron scoff and get into the passenger seat while I got into the back it was a 2 door car so I had to bend through Drakes side and as I did he decided to comment
"Phwoar, what a piece of an ass!"
I could feel myself heating up and hurriedly got in I heard Aaron growl and Drake only grinned and winked in response as we all got in and drove off I asked sarcastically "and why are we being oh so enlightened by your presence Mr Drake" since I didn't know his surname.
"Mr. Thomas actually" he corrected cokily
"I stayed at his last night after he picked my up no ride so he offered to drop me off but I know his intention was to see you." Aaron explained.
I could see Drake felt embarrassed by Aaron's knowledge as I did myself and he lightly hit Aaron on the shoulder.
The rest of the way Drake kept commenting on my ass and I was glad once we got to the entrance of the car park I hopped out and saw Drake smirking as I walked away in front of him, Aaron joined me and slung his arm over my shoulder casually after man-shaking Drake goodbye. I heard the engine rev and then speed off loudly causing everyone to stare at the shadow of Drakes racing Aston DB9 fly away.
Mystery POV
I saw her walking in as I rested against my locker [his] arm around her I looked towards her neck and there shined the jewel as it hung around her delicate neck.
Emmys POV
I opened my locker toput away some books which I wouldn't need till later but instead found an empty vase around the rim was encrusted (again) amethysts but now I was starting to get slightly concerned who was it? I pushed it back and left my books Aaron was talking to Andrew and Ste and so he hadn't seen anything. I gently tugged at the clasp of the necklace and removed it disposing of it into the vase but then I realized there was a note but not handwritten but typed...
I read 'for the roses you are my beautiful.' The word 'my' was in caps I scrunched up the note and let it fall onto the ground.
Mystery POV
She threw the note and took of the necklace. I was angry. I only saw red rage.
Emmy's POV
The rest of the day had gone as usual and had been event free.
I was walking towards the car park I'd catch a ride with Nancy like we planned earlier since Aaron had football practice.
Someone grabbed me by the wrist I yelped I was a little shaken because of the presents but when I turned around I was met by Haydens stormy blue eyes? His eyes were never stormy unless..
"Linnie" he sighed deeply "I've been looking for you everywhere I thought I'd miss you, I heard about the presents sorry I was so out of it erm yeah just be careful secret admirers can be bad news" I looked at him he wasn't his usual cheery self I looked at his frown and forehead and put my hand and tried rubbing out the deep-settled lines from it, his frown only seemed more outlined now.
"whats wrong Hayden we swore never to keep secrets" I said we were afterall bestfriends secrets should never be kept.
"Not now Linnie, maybe later" he said looking sad as his stormy blues was now clouded, by unshed tears?
I raised my eyebrows "maybe?"
He walked off abruptly but I wouldn't let him get away I followed him and in once again I was forced to enter the boys lav. I saw Hayden sitting there head in hands and went over to him but I knew this wasn't the time to interrogate but only to comfort.
Hayden cleared his throats and unlatched my hand that held his arms soothing him by rubbing circles into it.
He flushed and then laughed nervously and I could see a glint of a smile on his face "I erm have to Pee Linnie"
"Oh" I said understanding I don't know why but I felt myself heating up it was weird. I decided to go as I opened the door I was met by *grit teeth* Vincent.
"well isn't that a hostile face Em-me-line?" he said breaking up each syllable in my name.
I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Oh so you're not mute you do talk?" I said mocking him in a baby voice.
"Cute. Don't you have nails or something to do? And sorry is that the lads toilet?" he asked feigning fake confusion, I just barged past him and walked towards the car park.

I offered Nancy OJ but she had to go home I saw my R8 parked and smiled widely, my baby was back I checked it for scratches but it was dent less surprisingly, my mom was usually so clumsy!
I walked in ready to rush and hug my mom but when I walked into the front room she sat there puffy eyed with a letter in her hands but she was smiling? She hadn't even realized I was there.
I stood there and slumped my bag onto the floor she turned her head and said
"baby...
