Not gonna lie, I love this song!
I grumble and mutter some un-Luna-like words when I feel my Mate nudge me.
"No" I groan and shift so that I can burry my face in the pillow.
"Come on, Sugar. We'll get late" He is over me, crushing me under his heavy frame.
"Get off me" My voice is muffled by the pillow, so I blare the same in the mind link we share.
'Wake up' is his only reply.
'Fuck you!'
'Don't cuss, Sugar'
'Fuck off'
'Sugar!'
'FUCK OFF! LEMME FUCKING SLEEP YOU FUCKING FIEND!'
'Cool. Sleep all you want, don't blame me later when you wake up looking like the witch from some cheap ass horror show to the whole pack staring at you'
'What the fuck? I don't look like a witch from a cheap ass horror show when I wake up!' Are we really having this conversation at the crack of dawn after the tiring night we had?
''Yes, we are really having this conversation. No, it is not the crack of dawn, it is 11 fucking a.m. and no, I was wrong, you don't look like a witch from a cheap ass horror show right now' He admits.
'Huh!'
'Though you do look thoroughly fucked' He comments off-handedly and shite! My blood is gushing to my cheeks at the speed of light. Perfect. That's what I needed right now. To blush like a fucking bride!

'Did you know your blush spreads all the way to your back? Nice' He stretches the 'I' of the nice and damn him! My cheeks burn even more.
'Spice?' My voice is all serious.
'Yes Sugar?'
'When did you turn into such a pervert?'
He scoffs audibly, 'Ogling what's mine does not make me a pervert, Mate'
'Amen to that' and finally I decide to wake up, because no way in hell was I going to sleep now.
I prop my face on my hand and stare at him with hooded eyes, taking in his smirking face with narrowed eyes.
"Don't look at me like that" He says his lips pulled in an amused smirk and that has my hackles rising. He barely let me sleep last night and isn't even allowing me to sleep in now!
"What?" I am now glaring.
"We don't have time for morning sex, Sugar-" I hide myself with the blanket when I see his eyes trail down to the valley of my breasts and he gives me a wolfish smile. Why oh why did I not put on some clothes after the last round?!
"Because sleeping in the nude is much more comfortable"
"Stop reading my mind!"
"I can't really stop, Sugar. We have now completely consummated the bond, so all your thoughts dive right into my head without me even chasing them" He says in a more serious voice and I shake my head.
"I can't hear your thoughts though" I frown.
"That's because I have them blocked from you right now"
"That's unfair. You get to hear my thoughts and I don't get too hear yours" I glare at him.
"Do you want to?"
No. The thought pops up in my head on instinct because I am not really sure if I want to know what the hell is going on in that head of his.
"That's what I thought. So not wanting to overwhelm you, I blocked my thoughts from you" He shakes his head and starts playing with my hair.
"You might want to enjoy the hot bath I've got ready for you to help you with the soreness" He advises and I nod my head.
"Uh huh" His hands feel perfect in my hair.
"Don't go to sleep again, Sugar" He chides.
"Sorry, some fiend didn't let me sleep all night last night, and unlike the fiend, I actually need sleep to function like a normal werewolf" I snuggle closer to him.
He picks me up bridal style, murmurs something about 'guilt trap' and I bite back a smile.
"You going to bathe me Alpha Mine?" I ask sleepily and I know he is shaking his head.
"You are lucky I love you so" Is all he says as I feel him entering the en-suite bathroom.
"Oh please" I sass, "Admit it, you hit the jackpot with me"
He gently places me in the bathtub filled with luke-warm water and damn, it feels really good, especially on my nether regions.
"That, I did" He admits shamelessly as he puts some body wash on the loofa.
"We have to get to the pack house for brunch by 12 o'clock" He tells me as he starts rubbing the loofa on me.
"What for?" I close my eyes and let my head rest on the headrest.
"No idea. Ma wants us there, so we'll have to be there" He says.
"Ooh. Can we not cancel? I am dog tired" I sigh.
"Sorry Mate, We can't. I would if we could, but Ma was pretty stern" he really sounds disappointed, "She threatened to come here with the whole pack in tow if we didn't show up"
"Oh"

I bite my lip as I get into the driver's seat of my mate's Lamborghini, wondering what the hell Luna Avery wants from us.
"Stop biting your lip, Sugar. That's my job" My mate is in his own happy world.
"Hey, Mate?" I cock my head and smile innocently turning ever so slightly to look at him. He looks up from his laptop to stare at me with dark eyes.
"Yes Sugar?"
"Can't you like sweet talk your mother into letting us out of this visit?"
"Don't you think I tried?"
"But-"
"It'll be fine, Sugar"
"FINE!?" I glare at him, allowing myself the meltdown that I've been trying to keep at bay this whole morning.
"According to you everything will always be fine!"
"I'll make sure everything is fine" He redeems his words, but big mistake mate of mine.
"Who do you think you are? Her-fucking-cules or something? That you'll make sure everything will be fine?!" I glare at him, stepping on the accelerator.
"Stop the car" He orders in his Alpha tone, and damn him, why is he fucking everything up now.
"Don't use that tone on me!" I shout at him, increasing the speed, "It doesn't fucking work on me, so fuck off" I hiss, not letting my eyes stray from the road.
"Hit the brakes, Mate" My Mate has steel in his words, but I am not someone who bends.
"No"
"Hit the fucking brakes. NOW" I can feel him glaring dagger at me, and even though I don't want to, my leg stomps on the brake and we come to a screeching halt in the middle of the road.
"What now?" I turn to look at him like a lost child.
"I don't want you to drive in the mood you are, so let's first switch seats" With that said, he gets out of his side of the car and I out of mine, and we swap our seats.
He throws his laptop on the backseat and turns to stare at me.
"Something is up with you" He states and I can't help myself.
"Ai ai captain obvious. I barely had any sleep, so are you surprised? If you are surprised, just call T or Mel and ask them about my sleep deprived rendezvouses and they'll recite tons of incidents" I babble.
"Not the sleep deprived thing, Mate. Something is up with you. You are picking up fights with me for no reason" He shakes his head.
"Call T and ask, I am as good as an A grade asshole" I hit my head on the dashboard and my mate winces.
"Come here" He has an odd look on his face, and I obey him dutifully.
"Cock your head" He orders and I do it.
He buries his head in the crook of my neck, inhales deeply over my mark, and then lets out a shaky breath. His breath makes the small hair at the nape of my neck stand.
Licking my mark slowly, he pulls his head away, his eyes glazy as if he is mind linking someone, and without a word to me, or even a look in my direction, starts driving after a few bated seconds, leaving me confused.

When we get to the pack house, my Mate seems on edge, which I find weird, but I don't comment on it. Since the inhaling incident in the car, we haven't spoken a word to each other.
Spice walks with me to the door, closer than appropriate, and I want to tell him that I am so not up for another round, but something tells me to keep my mouth shut, and surprisingly, I oblige.
We get inside the pack house, and Beta female, pretty Tulia is beside us in a second.
Spice stares at me for a long moment, then finally says, why don't you go in the kitchen and help yourself to some food? I have some business to discuss with Tulia"
I don't argue with him, just follow through, though for some reason, I don't want him to be less than a hand distance away from me.
In the kitchen, Luna Avery, my Mom, and Damon's Mom are standing with all of their eyes bright.
They start piling up a plate for me, and usher me to the dining table, making me sit on the head of the table's seat, and staring at me as if I am an alien, as I eat.
Something is up, and I don't know what.
Also, why do I have this sick feeling in my gut like something bad is going to happen?

ALPHA ULYSSES ASHER BLACK'S POV
As weird as it sounds, my heart is clenching painfully as I walk away from my Mate with Tulia hot on my heels, a spring in her step.
We walk up to my Dad's office, who is thankfully gone out with his Beta and Gamma, and Tulia shuts the door firmly behind us.
I turn to face her, not wanting to waste any time away from my mate, but she stops me before I can and starts first.
"Before you start Alpha, let me speak my part. I know I have been somewhat hostile towards your Luna in the initial days she was here, and at that time, I thought I was right, considering how she was away from here for so long. I was wrong, as I had not known the situation then, so yeah, Delilah Raymond is probably the best Luna our pack will ever have, and I will be proud to be her Beta" She takes a deep breath, her cheeks red.
"Tulia-"
"Also, Dame told me about the curse, and though it is not the most convenient for us, I... I don't hold you responsible" She looks at me right in the eye, as she jumps to the matter we are really here to discuss.
"I smelled it on her the second you both pulled in the parking lot, so yes your suspicions are correct... I have no idea how it happened so soon for you both as the Alpha couple always finds it the hardest to procreate..."
"Is she in any danger? Has this happened before? Has a she-wolf been knocked up just one day after consummating the bond? Even when we are still days away from the full moon?" I am in desperate need of her reassurance.
"Alpha Ulysses, it is rare, but it has happened before..." She tells me and I exhale the breath I hadn't realised I had been holding.
"Okay... will there be any side effects on the other females?" I ask tentatively, keeping my face straight. Whenever a Luna conceives, all the other female wolves of her pack have a high probability for being bred too.
"I am not so sure if Luna Delilah's pregnancy will stimulate ours, considering the conditions, but I cannot say anything for sure. I will have to read up some more on that" She tells me.
With a nod to her, I dismiss her, and start making my way out of the office to the kitchen where my mate is waiting for me.
Also, how am I going to tell my mate that she is going to be a mother in the next 7 to 9 months?

DELILAH'S POV
My Mate creeps up beside me when I am finishing up on my meal, and I give him an odd look when I see just how antsy he is.
"Sup?" I ask him, wiping away the maple syrup that I know is smeared on my lips. I ate like a Neanderthal!
"Mate I..." Luna Avery, Mom and Damon's Mom are hovering over my mate with shit eating grins on their faces, making me feel wary, when suddenly, I smell blood.
Lots of it.
Apparently I am not the only one, as my Mate is up on his feet and is running towards the door of the kitchen that opens to the training ground outside, with all of us hot on his heels.
My breath hitches when I see the sight in front of me.
There laying on the ground is Bas, covered in blood, his chest barely moving, and Tag hovering over him.
Mel is beside them, crying silently and Van is rubbing her back with tears falling down her face too.
"WHAT HAPPENED?" I scream as II rush to Bas' side, my Mate on my side.
"Bl-lac-ck" Bas wheezes and my Mate kneels by his side, staring at him with a dark face.
"The hyenas are nearby" Tag provides, but I am not listening to him, I am too busy trying to hear what Bas is saying to my Mate.
"Do-n't forget-et" He tells my mate "your-r end of-f the barga-in"
My mate shakes his head, his fists clenched on his sides, "I won't"
"You have-e to save-e my-y pac-k from-m him" He says as blood gushes out of his mouth.
"I will" My Mate promises.
"You-u ha-ve to-o kill-l my fa-ath-er-r" Are his last words before his head lolls to the side, his eyes becoming stony.
I let out a choked sob and in my head, along with all the other pack member's my Mate's steely voice booms,
'THE WAR HAS BEGUN!'
