The girls to the right are Alicia and Dahlia; Alicia to the left and Dahlia to the right. I can't seem to make the slide show work so I will post Dahlia's weapon form on the next chapter. Sorry it takes me a while to upload, but my computer can't be used much these days.

The room was lowly light by a couple of candles that decorated each corner of the room. There was a small set of three on the night table beside the bed, the flames threatening to go off at any moment. Light poured into the room when the door was opened and Curran walked in with a tray that held a glass of milk and a small piece of chocolate fudge cake. He walked over to the bed, placed the tray on the night table, and then sat on the bed.

“Alright,” he sighed. “Do you mind telling me what the hell happened for you to end up like this?!”

Eevee averted her eyes to the wall and tried her best to move away from Curran, but Patty had tucked her in far too tight for her to move. Curran was furious at her after he had found her not far away from Maka's flat and had dragged her back to Death Manor. Eevee thought he was being far too dramatic on her condition simply because she had been with Kid. After all, she had gotten more badly hurt when going on missions with him.

“Well, Eevee, are you going to explain what happened?” Curran asked, but Eevee just stuck her tongue out and looked the other way. “I told you to keep away from that freak!”

“Kid had nothing to do with it,” Eevee said with crimson cheeks. “If anyone's to blame, it's you. And that other idiot that had no business being there in the first place. What does he do all day, stalk me?”

“That's what Kid does – ”

“I'm not talking about Kid! I'm talking about that eccentric moron named Black Star,” Eevee told him before she took hold of the plate with the cake.

“I'm sure you can use the word 'eccentric' to describe Kid as well,” Curran told her. “And don't drag me into this! I wasn't even there. I was visiting Madam at the shop, which you also destroyed with your supposed date with Kid!”

Eevee sat in silence eating her cake and blinking several time too much to call natural.

“I didn't do it.”

“Like hell you did,” Curran yelled. “Madam told me you went into the shop to show her – and I'm quoting her directly here – your boyfriend.”

Eevee stopped eating her cake.

Curran raised a brow at her silence.

She blushed a deep red.

“It was true?!”

“Don't be stupid, Curran.” Eevee told him and took a sip of the milk he had brought. “Madam's understanding of us was . . . corrupted?”

Curran's eye twitched. “I don't think you used the correct word there, but enough of that. Tell me what happened before I found you about to pass out minutes away from Soul and Maka's flat.”

“Well, you see, Curran, because you ditched me without reason – ”

“I had a very logical reason!”

“Shut up and listen without interrupting me. After you ditched me in Death Manor where my stalker just so happens to live, I decided to make the best of it. I went to the last place we had rented a room in and tried to see if I could get my room back, but when Madam set eyes on Kid she wanted nothing to do with me.”

Eevee finished what Curran had brought for her to eat and pulled the covers up to her chin and wrapped herself in them. Curran watched her closely and reached out to place a lock of stray hair behind her left ear. Eevee didn’t flinch when he touched the side of her face that held a blue and purple color to it; a bruised covered the left side of her face, but it didn’t seem she was hurting because of it.

Eevee continued her story. “After Kid kicked the door in and after Madam kicked us out of the shop because she thought I was sleeping with Kid –”

“WHAT?!”

“ – Shut up – I told her about us getting into an argument and that I was staying in Kid’s manor. But that’s not what you want to hear, right? We were playing keep away and, like always, Kid had one of his symmetrical freak outs and because a useless cow.”

“He became a useless cow?”

“Yes. Worthless garbage of a useless cow – After we stopped to rest for a while because we had run almost all over Death City, we stopped near Maka’s flat. We were going to look for you and offer you a room here in the Manor. Anyway, before we could get to the flat and persuade you—”

“I’m sure you mean drag me here against my will.”

“. . . . you have no will, so shut up and let me finish. There were two girls about the same age as you with long dark hair and brown eyes. It was a meister and her weapon, and they were there to kidnap Kid –heh, Kid kidnapped– they had plans tonight, but canceled them to take Kid. So I did the only thing I could do!”

Curran had gone paled, but gave her his undivided attention.

“I hugged Kid tightly and refused to let go.” Eevee told him. “They would have to kidnap me too. Ne, Curran, are you even paying attention to me anymore?”

He sat on the edge of the bed without moving a muscle as if Eevee hadn’t said a word. Eevee knowing she had described the girl he had been meeting with moved to where she could place a hand on his shoulder. Curran lifted his eyes to hers and then moved them to the bandaged left had that was on his shoulder.

Curran took her hand in his and pulled her to sit beside him. The left upper side of Eevee’s body was either covered by bandages, bruises, and small scratches while the right side was perfectly clean with not a single hair out of place. He knew exactly who she was talking about, but he wasn’t sure how they had found Eevee or why they had done what they had done to her. He really didn’t want to ask how it was that they got into a fight, but he had a suspicion it had been because of Kid.

“Where’d they run off to?” he asked her, but Eevee shrugged her shoulders. “Weren’t you paying attention?”

“I can see how I would be paying attention,” Eevee stated, “When I was half dead by the wall. If you want to know where they went, you’re asking the wrong person.”

“Half dead?” he gave a mocking laugh. “You just didn’t feel like fighting and pretended to be.”

That day when the sun was beginning to set and Eevee was forced to ignore her bashfulness of physical touch and hugged Kid tightly so Alicia and Dahlia wouldn’t take him, she had gotten a great view of the types of people Curran had been meeting.

The girls looked like any pair of girls of Shibusen with matching sailor uniforms and the same type of hair. They wore large smiles on their faces that made anyone believe they were as sweet and harmless as a mouse, but in all truth they were as vicious as any other student of Shibusen and showed it in the fights.

Kid was of no use to her because he wasn’t a weapon and because he seemed lost in his own world when the Dahlia transformed. He had a lost look in his eyes of absolute bliss and his face was painted with a blush. His head would have been chopped clean off if Eevee hadn’t shoved him to the floor, and not even that had brought him back to his senses.

Dahlia had transformed into a never before seen weapon in Shibusen. It was a long six foot weapon resembling a mace or a spiked club with a long spike extending straight from the top and many smaller spikes around the particle of the head. It was a medieval weapon, Eevee had heard about it, and it was called the Morning Star. It was a very intimidating sort of weapon that didn’t seem possible to fit a girl such as Dahlia.

Alicia jumped forward and took Dahlia into her hand before raced towards Eevee and slamming the weapon on the floor. They clearly hadn’t known much of Eevee because they were surprised to see that she could easily get out of the way. It only took several seconds for her to jump from her spot, make it to Kid’s side, pull him to his feet and behind a building before the girls attacked her again. The side of the building was shattered by the contact of Dahlia.

“Kid seemed to be in his own blissful world,” Eevee told Curran before she continued telling him what had happen.

Making sure to shove Kid of to the side so he wouldn’t get in her way, Eevee jumped from behind the building and towards Alicia. Alicia picked up the Morning Star above her head and smiled down as Eevee who had bent her knees ready to attack the girl as well. Eevee jumped forward and with a quick jab of her hand on Alicia’s side, the older girl dropped her weapon and stumbled back.

It was one quick attack of Eevee’s soul wavelength that she had learned how to do because of Professor Stein. It was a small jab of her middle and index fingers that produced a more precise attack than that of Professor Stein and that of Black Star, but it wasn’t stronger. Eevee’s soul wavelength needed work and she knew this would bring trouble in any fight, so she had to think fasters on what she should attack and how. The jab Eevee had hit Alicia with went directly under the girl’s arm and hit closest to the heart, which was Eevee’s favorite place to attack.

Alicia was sitting on the floorin a daze as Eevee walked forward and took hold of Dahlia’s weapon form. Dahlia mocked her with saying that it was impossible for Eevee to use her as a weapon, and to prove that point she stayed in her weapon form. Just like before when Eevee had shocked them, she did it once more when she was able to take hold of the Morning Star weapon and lift it up across her shoulder.

Dahlia fearing she would be used against her meister quickly transform partially back into her girl form with one arm still in weapon form. Eevee had shoved her to the floor next to Alicia, but this weapon was far fiercer than her meister and was quickly charging. If Kid had not returned from his deluded state and tackled Eevee to the floor, she feared arm would have gotten a more serious wound.

The spiked head of Dahlia’s weapon form had sunk into her shoulder and gone down the front side of the arm when Kid tackled her. He had only gotten the sleeve of his shirt ripped slightly, but that had been enough to make him go into a fit and pass out on top of Eevee. She didn’t know whether to thank him for tackling her to the ground and saving her arm or killing him for tackling her to the floor and passing out on top of her.

“Kid,” Eevee had started to move him around violently to see if he would react. “Come on. It’s just a shirt and you’re passing out on it!”

He seemed to come back for a split second and said only once sentence to her before fainting. “You fainted with running water.”

Eevee fought the urge to strange the oh-so-perfect boy and settled with pushing him to the floor. Before the other girl could recover from their laughter at Eevee’s problem with Kid, Eevee hand appeared in front of them. Hitting Dahlia on the side of her head and knocking her to the side before jumping for Alicia and jabbed her in the chest and knocking her back.

“What are you to Curran,” Eevee finally asked. If she couldn’t get answers from Madam Sabrina and Curran would never tell her, then she might as well as the source. “You’re right in canceling your meeting with him tonight. You won’t be making it even if you wanted to.”

“She wants a trade!” Yelled Dahlia from where she had landed from Eevee’s blow. “Give Curran to her and she’ll give you Lord Death’s Son!”

Eevee wanted to go up to her and slam her against the wall for saying such things. She wouldn’t have let them take Kid in exchange for Curran or vice versa. This of course never made it to the narrative part of her story to Curran.

“Those girls were just trying to hit on Kid because they thought he was cute and cuddly.” Was Eevee’s version of the girls she told Curran. “I, being the sweet and kind girl that I am, couldn’t possible let that happen.”

Curran looked at her in disbelieve. “So you got into a fight against a Morning Star meister?”

“Yes.”

“Because they were hitting on Kid?”

“Yes.”

“But Kid isn’t you boyfriend and you didn’t take him to Madam’s shop?”

“Yes.”

“Are you just answering yes without listening to me?”

“Yes.”

“Eevee!”

“It was nothing like that. They wanted Kid, but he had made plans with me and I wasn’t going to let him bale on me. It’s a very rude thing to do after you flood someone’s flat, right?”

“I’d forgotten that when you aren’t your quiet self you’re a blabbing idiot that speak nothing but nonsense,” she was glaring at her. “So what happened after you hit that Alicia girl on the chest? You didn’t even explain the bruise on your face.”

“Uh-oh, that’s what happened next,” Eevee told him. “Yahoo.”

“Yahoo?”

When the girls had suggested the trade and before Eevee could react by jabbing them once again, she heard a very familiar yelled that came from above. She wasn’t the least bit surprise at the blur of a figure that had landed in front of her and caused the ground to quake and then shattered. Eevee took a step back from the figure and cursed.

“YAHOO! The great Black Star has come to save the day!”

“Oh great, you’re here.” Eevee mumbled. “I’ve never been so glad to see you—actually, I’m not glad to see you. Get lost.”

“You should feel grateful that the great me has come to save the day.” He then ignored Eevee completely and addressed the two girls. “I am the great assassin Black Star and I have come to assassinate you all!”

“You can’t assassinate students,” Eevee cut in, but was ignored.

“Are you scared? I understand.” He was speaking to the girls and diverting their attention from Eevee without realizing it and she was able to move behind them. “The first time I saw my reflection in the mirror, even I was frightened by how BIG my reflection was.”

“That was just your BIG head,” Eevee said behind the girls and made them jump. “Just stay out of my way!”

“No,” Black Star jumped forward as did Eevee. “You stay out of mine!”

“And that’s how I got this,” Eevee told Curran and tapped on the bruise that was on her face. “We managed to hit both of them with our soul wavelengths, but then Black Star did a wrong turn and hit me across the face. I also did an accidental turn and kicked him off the side of the stairs. That when you found me on half dead next to the building.”

“I know that not even half of that story is true,” Curran sighed and stood up looking down at Eevee. “But I got the jist of it. You got into a fight, Kid was useless because of his torn shirt, and everything went wrong when Black Star showed up. That sounds about the only things that were true.”

“You are so questionable about everything.” Eevee called after him as he walked out the door. “Ne, Curran. Where are you going?”

“It doesn’t matter,” he called back. “Just stay here until tomorrow.”

As Curran closed the door behind him, Eevee jump down from the bed and ran towards the door. Peeking out to make sure he was gone, she ran out the door and down the corridor where she found the door to Kid’s room. There was no doubt that he would be sleeping at this hour, he did go to sleep at eight after all, but Eevee threw all caution to the side and stepped into the room.

It was dark with exception of two candles lit at the head on the bed on each side. There was a small bulk on the middle of the bed that had to be Kid. Eevee walked forward very slowly the carpet and her bare feet producing no sound as she came to the side of the bed and peered above the bulk. Sure enough, Kid’s sleeping face could be seen on the dark pillows.

“Kid.” She called out and pocked his cheek, but he made no sound. “Oi, Kid, wake up. You said you were going to wait until he left, and he already did. Wake up.”

Eevee climbed on the bed and started to shake Kid lightly by placing her hands on his stomach and moving him from side to side. He wasn’t bugging and Eevee wasn’t sure why and didn’t know what she should do. She sat on her knees beside Kid and sighed deeply as she looked down at his sleeping face.

His chest rose and fell slowly as Eevee sat silently on the bed and made no sound so she wouldn’t wake anyone else. Kid had been in his own world during that fight for Curran, and for him as well, but Eevee hadn’t known why he had such a blissful look on his face. The Kid that was sleeping seemed much more normal than the one earlier in the day.

She leaned forward and held her head above Kid’s face, letting her loose hair fall down and around him. Eevee looked at him quizzically as he got a large grin on his face like he had when she had wrapped her arms around him. She leaned in more and placed her hands on each side of his face to hold herself up and not fall on him.

Kid started chuckling lightly making Eevee look at him like he was crazy, but she kept his position. She could feel her face growing warmer do to the closeness, but because she was the one closing the gap between them the side effects took longer to surface. Kid was still chuckling when Eeevee looked at the door from the side of her eyes, and that when he decided to open his eyes.

“Ah!”

“Kyah!” Evee smacked him on the side of his head. “Don’t do that!”

“E-Eevee?” he was now in a sitting position and looking at Eevee with disbelief. “What’re you doing in my bedroom at this hour?”

“It’s only twelve at night.” She told him like anyone would say it was just noon. “You said you were going to wait until Curran left and he just did.”

“I thought he was going to leave in the morning!” he told her, but he could see that Eevee was not going to leave until they discussed what had happened. “Any reason why you were looking at me while almost on me?”

Eevee tilted head to the side is a curious manor. “I was wondering if you would wake up like that princess and the kiss.”

. . . . . .

“You were going to . . . kiss me?”

Eevee blinked at him.

Kid blinked back. “WHAT?!”

“Don’t be ridiculous,” Eevee snapped. “I was trying to figure out why you had that stupid grin on your face. Because of that you were all weird in the fight and the girls got away.”

“Did you tell Curran you met with them?” He asked her, but she shook her head. “Why didn’t you?”

“Because he was just going to shrug it off and tell me to not get near them. You saw how those two fought, with large smiles on their faces and a medieval weapon not seen in Shibusen. He recognized them, though, and went completely pale at the mentioning of them having plans tonight. He still went to meet them.”

Kid seemed deep in thought as he looked at her and repositioned himself until he was seated in front of her. Eevee was back to sitting on her legs and looking at Kid who was across from her. His look was deep and didn’t move from her eyes and when she was about to say something because of it, he spoke.

He had an expression that said he had just gotten a great idea. “You’re my dream girl!”

Eevee hit him with a pillow. “I’m being serious here and you say something like that,” she yelled at him as her face turned red. “Concentrate!”

“I am!” Kid yelled back. “On what’s more important!”

“What’s more important that figuring out why those girls are taking Curran from me and you as well?!” she asked him and didn’t seem to notice what she had said; the key words said being taking and from me.

“Kid . . . you’re grinning again,” Eevee pointed out.

Kid was and when she pointed it out he only blushed. “I’m thinking of this day . . . it was marvelous.”

Eevee gave him a questioning look that made him explain himself.

“We went as a couple to meet the person who used to be your guardian.” He made Eevee blush at this because she remembered what Curran had said about the boyfriend she took to Madam Sabrina. “We walked down the street like a couple too, and you even hugged me in front of those girls!” He took Eevee hands in his, “We’re now officially a couple!”

Eevee pulled on her hands and shoved him away. “That’s not how it works!—I think. And you were thinking of that while I was getting attack?! I’m tempted to hit you again, but I’m beginning to think your masochist.”

“I am no such thing!” Kid argued back. “And if that’s not how dating works, then why would you hugged me so tightly in front of two friendly girls inviting me to a party? A party is only the best method to make friends, you know.”

Eevee hit him with a pillow. “They were kidnapping you! Aren’t you listening to what I’m telling you? Don’t let people take you away so easily when you’re supposed to be with me.”

Kid was blushing again, Eevee catching on to why he was blushing and started blushing herself even more so than she had been already. She fidget with the pillow in her hands and looked away from Kid without saying another word. They both sat in silence on the bed, Eevee playing back the day in her mind as Kid did the same, but his view on that day was a bit more twisted than how Eevee saw it.

“Have you ever seen those girls in Shibusen?” Eevee asked. “I haven’t gone to the academy much to recognize any faces, but Curran must have met them somewhere he goes to regularly. Maybe Shibusen, is what I was thinking.”

Kid raised a hadn’t to his chin. “No. I would have noticed such perfect girls when I first arrived. If only they were weapons like Liz and Patty. Everything would have been perfect between us!”

“What?” Eevee glared at him, but Kid didn't seem to noticed. “You mean to say that if they both would have been identical weapons, you would have chose them over Liz in Patty?”

“Their hair style was the same, as well as the height, and the body type!” Kis exclaimed. “Everything was identical! Except for the hair and eye color, but everything was perfect and symmetrical created to make them the most beautiful symmetrical creatures to be in Shibusen!”

Kid noticed what he had said much to late and Eevee's glare had deepened in anger. Her brown eyes becoming a more darker brown than he had ever seen, and just as he was about to try and correct himself, Eevee threw herself on top of him. She straddled him on the bed and placed the pillow on his face trying to suffocate him.

“Eevee!” she hit him several times in the face with the pillow and then let it rest there making Kid frail around, but Eevee wasn't letting him up.

“You're of no help, Kid.” Eevee kept her hold on the pillow and her weight on his body so he wouldn't be able to stand. “Traitor. You would willingly go with Alicia and Dahlia,” she hit him with the pillow when he was about to answer. “Repent of your evil ways.”

“Loving symmetry is not evil!” Kid had taken hold of the pillow and was pushing back on Eevee. She was easily over powered by him, but she kept a stern hold on the pillow. “They are like the identical petals of a rose just as lovely.”

“Shut up,” Eevee said calmly and threw all her weight onto the pillow and made Kid's arms quiver. “You were out of it throughout the fight and now you're fantasizing about them being symmetrical. Begone evil spirit of stupidity that had taken hold of Kid. Begone!”

“It's not an evil spirit!” Kid cried and pushed the pillow upwards and sat up to face Eevee. “I've never seen such symmetry in a person that wasn't you, and it's mesmerizing to see it on other.”

Eevee didn't move a muscle, but blinked several times as she simply stared at Kid. Both meisters had no idea that in the position they were in could have made this situation awkward. Because Eevee had been straddling Kid, when he moved to a sitting position Eevee had slid down from his stomach and was now sitting on his lap. Kid now being in a sitting position brought him alarmingly close to Eevee and though she was not aware of it, her whole body was flushed red because of the distance.

“You know,” Eevee told him, “I'm not going to count on you to find out want going on with Curran. You might run off with them when we come across them again. Keep this in mind, when you go to sleep – even if you are a grim reaper – I'm gonna suffocate you with this pillow.”

“You are very violent.” Kid responded slowly as he kept his eyes on her face. His eyes trailed up from her left arm that was in bandages to the left side of her face that was covered with her brown hair. He reached forward and pushed back the bangs that had been covering Eevee's bruised since she entered the room.

“What is this?!” he cried and held Eevee tightly by the right arm so she wouldn't pull back. “Who dared lay a hand on you beautiful face?!”

“Are you an idiot?” Eevee gave him a skeptical look. “I was accidentally hit by Black Star when we both attacked at Alica and Dahlia at the same time. It should heal in about a week. So will the gash in my arm made by Dahlia.”

“BLACK STAR!” Kid screamed causing the manor to shake. “The arms we can hide with a long sleeve shirt – you can have one of my owns – but that bruise! It's painful to look at, so it must be painful to have it!” he touched Eevee face and pressed on in a little when she didn't flinch. That small force made Eevee pull away. “IT DOES HURT! MY POOR GODDESS!”

“Of course it'll be in pain when you press on it!” Eevee smacked his hand away, but Kid cheeked forward and held her face with both hands. “You are uncomfortably close.”

“My poor Eevee. All because I didn't help in that fight you got your beautiful face disfigured.”

“Now you're just insulting me! My face is just a different color.”

“You're an indigo color!” he cried.

Eevee touched her face. “T-that's because of the blush! And it's only half of my face. The left side.”

Kid was still mumbling death threat about Black Star for damaging Eevee and had forgotten completely about Alicia and Dahlia. Their perfect symmetry with one another not crossing his mind as he looked at Eevee's wounds. They weren't at all serious, but to someone who had called her his symmetrical goddess it was a very big deal.

“This cannot go unpunished,” Kid said as he brought Eevee's face closer to his until it was an inch away. “It will be avenged!”

Eevee narrowed her eyes on him. “You are a whack job. But if it'll get you to focus on finding out Curran relation with those girl, by all mean go kill Black Star and end this world's misery with him.”

Both were to occupied with one another to hear the door open and two sets of footsteps walk in. Kid was still holding her close to him when a laughter broke out near the door as well as a well as a very surprised shriek.

“WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING?!”

“Haha! Eevee finally fell for Kid and she's hear to seal the deal!” Patty cried as she jumped up and down in glee while laughing her usual amusing laugh.

“Eevee,” Liz seemed near to tear. “And I thought we had a normal one in the groups. Kid, this is all your fault! What're you doing to Eevee?!”

Eevee wrapped her arms around Kid's shoulder and pulled him to close the gap between them. “He was trying to ravish me,” she told Liz, “But thank goodness you came it time.”

Complete silence took over the room.

“THAT'S A LIE!” Kid yelled, but it wasn't very convincing with the grin he had on and very red face. “We were just speaking of plans on how to kill Black Star!”

“That and he was being all lovey with me,” Eevee was enjoying causing him distress with his weapons. She could even say that he was really cute when he was in panic form.

“D-don't believe her,” Kid said, but he was still hugging Eevee as Liz tried to pry him off. “I wasn't trying to ravish her!”

Curran Veils; Eevee's weapon and is a double cross sword. He has dark brown hair with mismatching eyes; left one being green and the right one blue. His name is pronounced Ker-an and it means dagger; hero.
