It's around midnight when all I have left to pack are my electronics. My room is empty. I can never get used to seeing an empty room. The sad feeling finally set in my stomache making me wanting to cry.
Holding back the tears I plopped down on my makeshift bed for the night. I checked my profile and seen that I had sixty more notifications from my last status. Not feeling like reading them I set my alarm and tried to fall asleep. Most of my status are about me moving. People usually question it when they stalk my profile.
After what seemed like forever I finally fell into a deep slumber.
Morning came way to quickly and before I knew it I was on my way to school. I was too upset to eat this morning so by the time I left to catch the bus I was starving.
The usually full bus only had seven people, including me, on it. Only the nerdy people were on the bus, they do not care about me so I got some peace and quiet to think before we got to school and leave yet another beautiful place.
Ten minutes later we reached our destination.
Standing up I readied myself for what the day was going to bring.
When I stepped off the bus I was immediately surrounded by tons of people bombarding me with questions and "I'm going to miss you"s. It was annoying.
I swear the students here just stand around and wait until I arrive.
"Naomi! I'm going to miss you so much!" Draya yelled in her squeaky voice while pretending to cry. I hugged and said. "I know babe, I'm going to miss you so much too but I'll try to come visit." I did not shed any tears because I was kind of glad that I was getting away from her high pitched voice.
I wonder where Lisa is?
I got a bunch of more hugs from people I don't think I know.
I was walking to my legal studies class with Draya on my right and Drew on my left.
Drew has shaggy blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He is tan, muscular and six foot one. He is captain of the boys basketball team. People have assumed that we should be dating but he's gay. He told me one day when some 'populars' locked us in a closet at a party one day thinking we were 'doing it' but he confessed and made me promise not to tell anyone. I've kept his promise. He was suprised but he got to know the real me so now we're like best friends. He's the closet person that I can trust.
Out of all the people I have met he is the only one I am ever going to miss the most.
"So where you moving to?" Drew asked me once we reached the classroom.
"Uhm California." When I said this his mouth dropped.
"You lucky bitch" He whispered. He has always wanted to go to California just to sit on the beach and watch the shirtless guys walk around. Yeah he is a weirdo.
This whole time Draya was in her own world. I wonder what she is thinking about. When she finally tuned back in she asked me where I was moving and I told her.
"No freaking way!" She squeaked. "Take me with you"
"Wish I could babe but my mom already said no." I pretended to be sad as I lied to her. Drew could tell that I was lying so he was trying not to laugh.
"Okay everyone hand in yesterdays homework" Mr. McDonald ordered.
I looked around the room and seen some kids giving me the look that meant "Stall the teacher so I finish my homework real quick" In other words copy it from the smart kids who actually finished their homeworl.
I raised my hand. "I didn't get to do it" I actually finished my homework yesterday. He didn't even let me finish what I was saying because he already cut me off.
"No excuses Naomi, after school detention for you." I smirked.
"Actually I can't" He scoffed.
"Now why not?" He questioned.
"You won't see me"
"What are you talking about?"
"My mom will get me out of it"
"Your mother cannot do anything"
"Yes she can"
"How?" he raised his eyebrow as if to challenge me.Oh by the way this teacher and I always fight and I usually win
"I'll tell you how" I paused. "I won't be hear because" I paused again but htis time for dramatic effect and to let the others know they only had at least two minutes left. "Because I am moving after school. Today is my last day, I could not do it last night because I was busy packing up my room and bathroom till one in the morning, besides if I did do it, it would have been pointless. Oh and here is my textbook." I reached into my bag and handed him my textbook.
"Very well than Naomi. You're off the hook this time but I doubt you're moving, just the fact that you made up this whole story just to get out of doing your homework shows you can be persausive at times and lie through your teeth." He tried to hand me back my textbook but I didn't accept it.
"That, Mr. McDonald, is where you are wrong. Now just get on with your lesson."
Finally he sighed in defeat and asked everyone to hand in their assignment.
Class went by pretty fast. Too fast for my liking becuase I now had English 12-1 with Ms. Layden. She is so annoying. She is worse than all the sluts at this school put together.
It makes me mad.
As I was walking to class I was called down to the office. Ugh I hate going there.
When I reached the office I saw my mom standing there with all my things from my locker in her arms.
"Come on Naomi we got to go earlier than planned so come on"
"K wait I got to say bye to all my friends" When I said that I had seen the secretary shake her head in my peripheral vision. She made me sit down with her one time and asked why I hung out with all those people and that I had so much going for me and she doesn't want them to ruin that.
Of course I acted offended but couldn't careless about what she said.
"No we got to go now. The person who is letting us rent the house is leaving in two days so we have to leave earlier than scheduled."
She gave me a pleading look.
"Fine let's go, bye Mrs. Nielson"
"Bye"
My mom and I walked to the truck which had a U-Haul trailer attached to it. I climed in the passenger seat while my mom got into the driver seat.
"So we have to drive all they way there?"
"Yeah"
"Well this is going to be a long trip" I complained whilst putting my headphones in my ears and propping my head with a pillow.
~many, many hours later~
We have finally reached Twin Falls Idaho. My mom decided that is where she is going to rest. Awesome thing is that she only has to rest four to five hours anytime then she is good for a long time.
The hotel we stopped at was nice and cozy. Not to grand but not butt ugly either.
Mom checked us in and we made our way to the elevator.
As we were waiting a cute guy and I'm assuming his family stopped and waited for the elevator.
There was a pretty lady who looked to be in her mid thirties, she had extremely curly brown hair, like a perm, green ish brown eyes and a mole beside he nose on he left, holding a guy, who looked to be in his late thirties early fourties hand. He had brown almost black hair and light blue eyes. Beside them were two little girls. One looked like the lady and the other looked liked the teenage boy. They were so adorable.They looked like they were maybe four or five.
The guy though was hot with a captial H. He had jet black hair that fell into his eyes so I couldn't tell what colour they were. He is all muscles, well from what I could tell. He was wearing grey sweatpants and a white shirt with Nike sandals.
Now that I think about it they look comfy and like they've been travelling for quite a while too.
Ding.
The elevator finally reached the lobby and we all got on. We were on the fifteenth floor. That is high up so I definately had to go look out a window.
The tension in the elevator in the room was thicker than Earth. I was facing the buttons but out of the corner of my eye I could see the people glaring at my mom while she glared back at them.
Hmm I wonder if they know eachother?
I looked to see what floor we were on when the elevator started shaking until it stopped moving. Uh-oh.
"Oh no. This is like Devil. What if it is and we all die!? I don't wanna be first, maybe third but definately not first or last 'cos then I'd be alone" When I finished talking I turned around to see everyone looking at me like I was insane.
"What?"
Everyone burst out laughing. By the way that hot guy, his laugh was amazing.
I crossed my arms over my chest and glared at them all.
A couple minutes later everyone was still laughing so I just sat in the corner pouting.
"Don't be a putachapie Nay" My mom said whilst trying to stifle her laugh. I just glared.
Finally everyone calmed down.
Then the power went out and I started feeling claustrophobic.

Thats non stop driving most the time anyway. onlyvhour stopped altogether. not including the hotel in Idaho.
