The Right Words
Sometimes there aren’t words to describe my feelings. Maybe they just aren’t strong enough, or maybe they just don’t come out right. ‘Nervous’ isn’t enough to describe the butterflies that flew from my stomach to my heart when we first met. ‘Happy’ isn’t enough to describe my smile that was glued to my face when we were together. ‘Heartbroken’ isn’t enough to describe the pain that surged through my heart when you left. And ‘sad’ isn’t enough to describe how I feel right now, months after you already left because our memories still flash through my head every once in a while. All I can do is string words together and hope that one day the’ll create something that is enough because the only way any of this will ever be truly finished is if I finished the final, unwritten chapter of our story. A chapter I like to call:
