You'll Catch a Cold (Buljeet)
(A/N): Sorry this first one-shot is kind of short, but I thought of this and figured it was too cute to not write. Takes place when they're in high school.
Summary: Buford and Baljeet were taking a walk through Danville on a particularly cold day.
It was a cloudy, Saturday afternoon in Danville. A thin layer of snow covered the ground, leaving behind scattered footsteps of various people. Two sets of footsteps in the snow belonged to Buford and Baljeet, who walked side by side. Buford was wearing a thick scarf and coat while he buried his hands deep into his coat pockets to keep them warm. Baljeet, despite wearing a thick trench coat and hat, shivered uncontrollably and chattered his teeth together. He muttered something under his breath about how he hated being sensitive to the cold.
Buford glanced down at Baljeet, letting out a long sigh. He grabbed Baljeet's arm, making both of them pause their walk. Baljeet turned his attention to Buford, noticeably confused. Buford pulled off his scarf, muttering a small "Here," as he wrapped the cloth around Baljeet's neck, "Can't have my favorite nerd gettin' a cold," he added, briefly adjusting the scarf before shoving his hands back into his pockets. Baljeet blinked several times, having been extremely caught off guard by the sudden action. After a few seconds he offered Buford a small smile, already feeling a lot warmer, "I'm your favorite nerd?" he asked, a noticeable smirk playing on his lips. Buford felt a light blush creep onto his cheeks "No," he scuffed, shifting his gaze to his feet, "... You're my only nerd..."
