"Hiya, cutie." I feel arms wrap around my waist and I turn my head to see Olivia. I instantly blush.
"Hi," I say quietly.
She pulls away and walks beside me. "What's up?"
I shrug.
She moves in front of me, making me stop. "Whoa. You're not like that, are you?"
I knit my eyebrows together. "Like what?"
"Kiss me then ditch me."
I shake my head. "No. I'm not like that. And besides," I say, feeling embarrassed, "it was a dare."
She raises her eyebrow. Wrong thing to say. "It was a dare to make out with me?"
I look at the floor. "Well, no-"
"Exactly. What the hell, Mia? I thought... I thought you were into me."
I shrug. Am I?
I've been telling myself I'm not, but... what if I am? She lights me up inside, when Sarah brought me down. She gives me life, when Sarah takes it away. Olivia Hoffman is a beautiful, bright, and kind person. And if I ever liked someone, it's her.
I look at her and pull her close. "I'm into you."
