 Some authors often stereotype the black people. They make the black people seem like the stereotypical "hood rat". The stereotype is offensive and some people live in the suburbs or country. All the black girls have the same type of curly hair. There are many different curl or coil patterns that black people can have. Some people also have locs or they perm their hair straight. Some authors make their main character have all black friends that treat them differently because they decide to date a white guy. Although this does happen to many black people in an interracial relationship, it doesn't happen all the time and when it does they don't always make up like I've seen in multiple books. They also stereotype what the black characters wear.. Not all black people wear Jordans. I mean how much more stereotypical can you get.
