I appreciate y'all who still reading even though I just be vanishing and what not. I'm tryna give y'all at least two more chapters after this tonight. Anyways enjoy💕🤘🏾

Egypt
"What we finna do with all this food?"
My mama made us take all this food home like we got somewhere to put it. Ain't nobody 'bout to eat all this food. Nevermind. This food 'bout to be gone by the end of the night.

"We'll have dinner with Craig, Jacob and nem," I said.
"Where at?" Chance asked.
"Your house. They not messing up my house,"I shrugged.
I slide my phone out my pocket and started playing my game. Chance peeked at my phone then rolled his eyes.
"Problem?" I mumbled.
"You always playing that game. What is the game anyway?" he asked.
"It's called stop being nosey and pay attention to the rode," I snapped.
He smacked his lips but paid attention to rode. Exactly.
"I'm gone fuck ya brains out when we get home," Chance said.
He sounded so calm about it. I jerked my head to him. His eyes were still on the road and his face was relaxed.
"Say-" I started.
"Cause you acting real bold lately. You don't run nothing lil behbe. But you gone see once we get home," he said.
He parked behind the warehouse and got out and walked inside. I sat in the car stuck. This nigga gone bust my walls loose. I got out the car and caught up to him. When we walked in people greeted us. That trick from that time I was here was staring me down like bitch excuse you bitch. She scrunched her face up all ugly like. I smiled then bucked at her. She flinched har asl. I cackled then walked to Chance's "office".
"Stay in here. I gotta handle something," Chance said.
Then he walked out. I heard the door lock from the outside. Chacne being that calm is freaking me out. He only be that calm when he heated. I sent a quick prayer to my lord and savior Jesus Christ. I'm not tryna be like Jacob. I got work tomorrow and I need my legs. I sat down in this overstuffed chair behind his desk. He so extra. He don't even use this desk. Last time he even used this desk was when he was busting me open. I shivered at the memory. He was frustrated that day and took it all out on me. I'm not complaining. I loved every minute of it. He need to hurry up and take us home. I huffed and turned the tv on.
"His Netflix better work," I mumbled.
He finally paid the bill I see. He be forgetting to pay the bill sometimes. But who forget something so crucial. Y'all don't understand how caught up in Supernatural I be. My attention snapped from Sam and Dean to screams downstairs. I heard a masculine voice pleading. The man screams got louder and louder then bang. No more screams. I didn't realize that I was crying until I felt moisture drop onto my hand. I continued crying as the door unlocked and Chance walked back in.
"C'mon let's-...Egypt what's wrong?! Why you crying?!" he questioned.
His calm demeanor was replaced with worry. I just stared at him with tears streaming down my face. He came to try to hold me but I pushed him away.
"Please don't touch me Chance," I whispered.
He backed away with his hands up. I move my eyes up to the ceiling cause I couldn't look at him. He got me fucked up.
"Why you didn't take me home Chance?" I asked.
"What?" he asked.
I snapped my eyes to his and shot up. I slammed my hands on his desk, fuming.
"Why didn't you just take me home?! Why you bring me here if you was gone do that shit?! I don't wanna hear that!" I shouted.
"Aye calm down Egypt! It's okay," he cooed.

Okay? Okay?! After that I just went off.

"OKAY?! THAT SHIT AIN'T OKAY! YOU THINK I WANNA HEAR YOU ENDING SOMEBODY LIFE?! YOU DOWN THERE PLAYING GOD WHILE I'M UP HERE WORRIED!" I snapped.
He tried to reach out an touch me but I snatched my hand away.
"Chance I swear to God you better not fucking touch me," I laughed, pissed.

He stared at me, wide eyed.
"Look at ya hands Chance. Did you wash them before you came up here?" I asked.
He looked down and shook his head.
"I can't believe you. You got somebody blood on your hands and you wanna touch me? Take me home," I laughed.
I was so through with this. I was just ready to go home and go to sleep.
"No," he said.
"Chance take me home," I said.
"I said no," he answered.
"I don't give a damn what you said! Take me the fuck home!" I hollered.
"I'd advise you to calm it down," he warned.
I know he didn't.
"CHANCE TAKE ME THE FUCK-"
"AYE MAN SHUT THE FUCK UP! STOP FUCKING YELLING AND LISTEN FOR ONCE!"
"LISTEN FOR WHAT?! YOU JUST GONE TELL ME THE SAME SHIT!"
I stomped over to the door and tried to open it but Chance was in the way.
"Move out the way Chance!"
"No!"
"Move!"
He kept closing the door as I was opening it. I got sick of that and began to punch on his chest. He was taking all of them hits too. He got tired of me hitting him and grabbed my hands then slammed me against the door. Hard.
"AYE MAN YOU GONE FUCKING LISTEN TO ME AND STOP HITTING ME!"
"LET ME GO CHANCE! I DON'T WANNA HEAR-"
We was all up in eachother face just yelling.
"SHUDDUP MAN!"
The way he said it made me be quiet.
"You think I wanna sit up here and do this bullshit?! You think I enjoy this?! I don't! Do you know how hard it was to shoot that man down there?! Do you even know why I do this?!" he yelled.
I didn't say anything. We stared at eachother. He yanked away from me and went to sit down. He sat there with his head in his hands. I stood there watching him. We stayed in silence until he spoke up.
"When my father left us, he left us for broke. My mama was struggling to raise two little boys with barely any money. There were nights when she wouldn't at so we ate. She would barely be home and when she was at home she was sleep all day. Things got worse so I knew I had to step up and provide for my family. I started working f
for this nigga named George. He was this old ass Italian dude. But he took care of me like I was his own. He made sure I had money to take care of what I had to take care of. He the reason I'm where I'm at today. That man helped with all this. I droped outta high school to make this. I didn't wanna be in this lifestyle. I wanted to be movie producer. Not this. Now I'm stuck in this," he said.
I was shocked. Chance never told me any of that. Maybe cause I never really asked. Chance knows damn near everything about me yet I barely know anything about him. Slowly walking over to him, I wrapped my arms around his shoulders.
"This helped me support my family. I was 15 when my father left us. When I first started doing this I hated it but as time went on I just got used to it. When I was 17, my step dad came around. He started taking care of things with my family. There wasn't no point in doing this anymore. I should've stopped but I couldn't. I was too caught up in it all," he said.
I held him as he told me. You could tell he was emotional. He kept bouncing his knees and flexing his hands.
"I had plans for life but that nigga fucked it all up man! I was gone be somebody! And that bitch nigga took it all away..." He broke down in tears.
I moved to sit in his lap and hold him. His arms tightly wrapped around my waist as he cried into my shirt. I rubbed his back and placed kisses on his forehead. My shirt was soaked from his tears. It made a few run down my face. I've never seen him break down like this. We sat there, rocking back and forth, as he cried. His shoulders stopped shaking as he slouched and looked up at me. HIs eyes were red and puffy from crying. I wiped the remaining tears off his face and cupped his face in my hands.

"Baby It's going to be okay," I whispered, looking him in the eye, "We can fix this."
"How we gone fix this? I can't go back to school. I'm 23. They not 'bout to me walk 'round no highschool," he rolled his eyes.
"That's why they have online classes babe," I sighed, "It'll be like homeschool."

"Ion know 'bout allat. I'm not gone have time for that," he said.
"You'll have time. Trust me you will. I'll help you when you need it. I'll be there every step of the way," I cooed, "You'll be fine."
"You promise you'll be there?"
"I promise."

Chance
This whole going back to school thing seems like it's too good to be true. Ain't no way I'm gone be able to finish it. If I couldn't finish it the first time, what makes you think that I'll be able to finish it this time around. Maybe it won't be that bad. I tired of putting myself and others in danger because of what I do. I been shot at and threatened. That shit don't faze me but now since I've got Egypt, I don't want to put him in any danger. That's my lil behbe right there. There isn't anything that I wouldn't do for him. That's also why I'm agreeing to start school again. To make him proud and show him that I'm more than just some hood nigga that's dealing. I want to show him that I'm tryna do best for both of us. Show him that I'm worth him being around.  I peeked over at him to see him looking out the window. He felt me looking and smiled at me. I winked and flicked my tongue at him. He giggled then stared out the window again.

"So do I get a graduation?" I asked, suddenly.
He nodded.

"Yes," he smiled, "You walk with the local high school."

I nodded, "How we gone get this started? What we gotta do?"

"The school year started like two months ago but I guess they'll get you caught if they accept you still. All we gotta do is go on the website and sign up. Then wait for the email saing that you were accepted. When do you wanna start?"

"As soon as I can."

"We can enroll you today and hopefully get you started tommorow."

"Thank you."

"You're welcome. Anything for you Chance."

I reached over and grabbed his hand to kiss it. The rest of the ride to his apartment was mostly silent. I asked hm a few questions about the process of getting enrolled and how this would work out. We pulled up to his apartments and got out. I took food up as he went to unlock the door.

"Put that in the kitchen," she said, grabbing his laptop,"Then meet me in my room."
Once I got all the food in the house, I walked down the hallway to his room. When I walked in, I seen he was on the phine with somebody. Probably Jacob.

"You staying with Santo for the whole week?. . .okay. . .yea. . .I'll make sure to save you some. . .okay. . . love you. . .bye."
I flopped on the bed and pulled Egypt on my lap. He opened up his laptop and went on Google. He searched up 'Second Chances Academy'. (A.N. Made up school.) The website came up after while. Turtle ass wifi. The website had a bunch of pictures of happy people with diplomas in hand. He glanced down at me.
"Are you sure you're okay with doing this?" he asked.
I thought 'bout that. Do I fr wanna go back to school? I know it ain't the same as walking the halls and sitting in a class but still. It's gone be hard asl. And I barely remebeer anything from my Junior year.
"Chance you don't have to do this because I told you about it. If you really want to do this then do it. But if you don't then you don't. I'm not forcing you to do anything. It's all up to you," he said, staring down at me.
I nodded, "I'm gone do it. I wanna do it. Sellin drugs and killing people is getting old."
He had the biggest smile on his face when he said that. He leaned down to peck my lips then went to click on the giant 'Enroll Now!' button. There was a long form that we had to fill out.
"Here. You have to fill this out," he said, tryna hand me the laptop.
"Nah. You do that. I ain't finna fill that out the wrong way," I shrugged.
He sighed and began filling out the form.

"What's your full name?" he asked.

"Chance Malik Owens," I answered.
"I like that. It's classy," he mumbled, focusing on the form.
I popped my imaginary collar, "Yea cause I'ma a classy nigga."
I seen him roll his eyes in his reflection of the computer screen. I pinched his thigh, making him jump and yelp.
"Don't think I ain't see you roll ya eyes lil kid," I chuckled.
He huffed and continued filling out the form, occasionally asking me questions. Once he completed it, he submited in and shut down his laptop.
"It's sent," he grinned as he spun around to straddled me.
I gripped his hips and stared at him. He winked at me and pulled out his phone. I heard a click. He grinned down at his phone.
"You took a picture of me?" I asked.
"Yep," he said.
"Lemme see."
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"Caue it's my picture."
"Okay and. It's my face."
He rolled his eyes all hard. So I pinched his thigh again all hard.
"Lil ugly boy if you don't stop pinching me," he snapped.
"Stop rolling ya eyes. But I'm ugly now?" i said.
"You been ugly. I just gassed you up," he smirked.
"If I'm ugly why you taking pictures?" I grinned.
He went hush. Tryna do me but he know he can't. He love me too much.
"Righhht. Can't say nun," I cackled.
He flicked my chest and crossed his arms. I rubbed my chest where he popped me. It stung. Strong ass fingers.
"You still ugly," he pouted.
I rolled us over so that he was laying down as I hovered over him. I pinned his hands above his head with one hand as the other tickled his sides. He was a giggling mess under me as he struggled to get free from my grip.
"Stoppp Chance! I'ma p-pee on myselfff!" he struggled out through laughter.
"Pee on yaself then. Calling me ugly," I laughed.
He squirmed around as he laughed.
"Okay okay!"
I stopped tickling him so he could catch his breath to speak.
"You only a lil ugly," he giggled.
I started tickling him, making him bust out in laughter. His hair was spread all over the pillows and his face was a light shade of red from laughing.
"Stopppp!" he screamed out from his laughter.
"Not until you tell me I'm not ugly," I said.
"B-but you a-are u-uglyyy," he giggled.
I lightly pinched on his sides as he wiggled.
"Okayyyy! You not ugly!" he squealed.
I let his hands down and cheesed at him as he tried to glare at me and catch his breath.
"Aweee. Thank ya lil behbe. I don't think I'm ugly either," I cooed, kissing all over his face.
"Boy get off me," he smiled.
I pecked his lips a few times before I rolled off him. My phone went off and I snatched it up. It was an email from the school. I stared at the phone, kinda nervous.
"What is it?" Egypt asked.
I handed him the phone or him to see.
"You want me to open it?" he asked.
I nodded as I stared at the ceiling. What if these people didn't accept me into the school? What was I gone do then? I'm getting too old to be slanging. I'm tryna get married and have lil Chances running 'round. Not jail or dead.
"Chance Malik Owens we would like to inform you that you have been accepted into Second Chances Academy. You're classes will begin tommorow at 7 a.m. Plase use the log in information below to sign into our website and view your classes. You're assigned teacher will be Mrs.Grant. Supplies needed are listed on the website along with recommended items. If you have any further questions please contact us via phone number, fax or email. Thank you for choosing Second Chances Academy," Egypt read.
I stopped listening after I heard I got accepted. It don't seem like that big of a deal but it is. I'm doing something to change my life. Something that should've been done years ago. I'm not tripping on that. My moms always told me when I was younger that everything happens for a reason.
"Chance, baby, are you okay?" Egypt whispered as he traced circles on my chest.
I looked up at him. I'm thankful that I met him. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have made done this. I'm grateful that he stayed around. He's really helped me alot lately. He care about me and my well-being instead of my money and rank. He sifted uncomfortably as I stared at him.
"Why're looking at me like that?" he asked.
"Like what?"
"Like... you have this look in your eyes. I can't explain it," he whispered.
"It's cause I'm glad I met you. You been there for me so far. You helping me be a better person and I'm thankful for that," I gave him a small smile and rubbed my thumb over his cheek.
He smiled and said, "I'd do anything to see you succeed."
"You been so good to me. I'm scared I ain't gone be good enough for you," I mumbled.
"If you weren't good enough for me then I would've been left. There's nobody out there that's perfect. Everybody needs some assistance. I'm happy to assist you in nything you need assitance in. That's why I'm here. I'm not here for the title as your boyfriend. I'm here to be everything that a boyfriend should be."
I pulled him down adn smashed my lips against his.
"I love you," I muttered against his lips.
"I love you too."
I pulled away, cheesing mad hard. He rolled his eyes playfully then wen back to turn on his laptop.
"We gotta see what supplies you need," he said.
"Can we go to Walmart after we see what we need?" I asked.
"Yea we can go but don't think you getting a bookbag or anything," he mumbled.
"And why not?" I whined.
"Chance you don't need a bookbag. You not getting up and going to the school. You gone be at home."
"I'm geting a bookbag."
"No you- You kno what? I don't care. Get the bookbag but you betta not lose it."
"I won't. Damnnn."
