Janisse always loved petals, they are beautiful, slim, colorful, pretty, rose petals were always her favorites, they are light pink and so beautiful, especially when a lot of them are falling, like in weddings. Actually, Janisse is a very different girl, she was born in a very different family, a rare family, where her mother knows thousands of magic spells learned thanks to her ancestors. In her family, they practice magic since generations, they know secrets and incredible places that only a few other people knows, they discovered species that humans have no clue they could even exist. But even if it looks incredible, magic is dangerous, both for her humans and the wizards and witches. Long time ago, the world was full of witches and wizards, who didn't really lived with humans, but the few of them who did unfortunately created terrors and catastrophes, magic is a very powerful tool, so powerful it can often such disasters that it can extinct species, humans always trust sciences, and they always believe excuses from sciences about great phenomenon of history, we all think that the extinction of the dinosaur was natural or that the burning hole in Turkmenistan was a natural phenomenon, when actually it was not. Every single catastrophe in humanity history wasn't natural, Haiti earthquakes, the tsunami in Thailand, the famine in Scotland, ... everything was related to magic, and every time magic was involve in something, we all knew it was probably disastrous. After some time, the most powerful magic family, which consisted in the most powerful magicians and 3/4 of the magician monarch branch, were done of the effects of the magicians, so done that they decided the biggest genocide ever made in all kind history. They decided to eliminate every wizard and witches on the planet earth except from the main branch, thus the massacre began, in not even 1 year 95% of the magicians were killed. Sometime, when a fight involve some powerful magicians it will created other catastrophes such as the famine in France or the apparition of malaria in Mexico. The other choice offered to the survivor magicians was to hide, hide their power, hide their presence, escape. After hundred of years after the genocide all the none-members of the most powerful family was seek all other the world but if they didn't show any acted of presence or magic potential, they would be leaved in peace. Most of the magicians were killed and to limit the chances of the apparition of the magicians slaughters, a magical person would only and only be taught magic at the age of 18. All they wanted was to live in peace and surely not suffers the most painful death ever : the doom, it is the death caused by the witched and wizards slaughters, it consist in burning the magician in a extreme pain before sending the soul of the person straight to hell in the most painful way, not only the soul will be forever locked in hell but the body will be rotting forever. Magicians runaway everywhere on earth, nowadays there's approximately 1880 magician families, most of them are hiding in a secret place somewhere around Antarctica. The genocide is still an actual thing, thousand of magician slaughters are still alive and it's even a pride to slay a magician. In Mauritius, there's only 2 magician families : Chaleon and Kathapermal. Running away from the slaughters, both family started to help each others, and actually became friends. The parents were close to each other and decided to live next to each other, and the girls were so close, they slept together, took baths together, fell in love. They were mad in love, after some adventure with teachers and stuff, they were finally true lovers. But nothing last forever.
