I laid on my bed as Loyalty plaid with her toys next to me. She was getting so big and I didn't want her to. She could crawl and walk but I still just wanted to carry her. I was watching Snapchat stories when someone decided to FaceTime me. The name popped up as Destin. I quickly fixed my hair and answered it.
"Hello"
"How'd you get my number"
"Loyalty gave me your phone and I put my number in it"
"Really Lo"
"I told you to call me. It's been three weeks"
"..."
"So what are you doing beautiful"
"I'm just chilling"
"Can we chill with you"
"Who is we"
"Me and Justin. We can take them to Chuck E. Cheese. My treat"
"Ummm how do I know you won't kill me"
"Well for one I have my son with me. For two we are going to a place with a bunch of kids. Plus you haven't done anything to make me want to kill you"
"How old are you"
"I'm 19. How old are you"
"17. I just graduated"
"Oh you're a baby"
"I am not"
"Ight be ready by 2" he said hanging up.
I looked at the time and it was 1. "You want to go play Lo" I asked picking her up. She screamed. I cut on some music to listen to while we get ready. I put her on a white tutu dress and her grey knee high socks. I put on a white tank top with my black ripped jeans and white converse. Destin texted me and asked for my address so I gave it to him. I finished getting ready while Loyalty walked around. Once I was done I took a picture of Lo just when there was a knock on the door.
We went downstairs and I opened the door. I handed Destin the car seat and grabbed the bag. I strapped her in. "Hi I'm Justin" the little boy said. "Hey Justin. I'm Clover" I said before I shut Loyalty's door. I got in and we pulled off. I shared my location with Paris and Jason. "What's her name" Justin asked. "Loyalty" I said as Lo laughed. "How old is she" he asked. "She will be one tomorrow" I said. "Is she having a birthday party" he asked. "No. I'll probably buy her a cake and call it a day" I said. "No she has to have a party. It's her first birthday" Destin said. "She won't remember" I said. "So. You can take pictures" he said. "Well its a little too late" I said. We pulled up at Chuck E. Cheese. "Where are her shoes" Destin asked. "She doesn't have shoes" I said. "You can't go in there to play with no shoes" he said walking to Target which was next door. He bought her some cute silver moccasins.
We went in Chuck E. Cheese and it was amazing. "I've never been here before" I said. Destin smiled at me as I admired the place. They stamped our hand and we went to get tokens. He handed me a card and put one on Loyalty's arm and Justin's arm. Destin took Loyalty from me and put her down. She immediately took off running. We played a bunch of games and ran around. "I'm hungry daddy" Justin said. We got a pizza and sat down to eat. I put a oversized shirt and a bib on Lo so she wouldn't mess up her dress. Justin played with Lo as he ate. "He likes her" I said. "He has wanted a little brother or sister since he started going to daycare" Destin said. Justin was the cutest little chocolate boy I've ever seen. "Can Lo be my little sister daddy" Justin asked. "You have to ask her mom" Destin said. Justin looked at me. "I'm sure Loyalty would love to have a big brother" I said and he smiled so big. We cashed in our tickets then I went to change Lo before we left. When I came back we left. "Let's take a picture first daddy" Justin said. Destin handed me his phone and they posed.
We pulled up to my house and the kids were sleep. "Well thank you" I said. "Thank you for giving me a chance" he said and I nodded. "But you can't go anywhere now that you agreed that Justin could be Lo's big brother" he said. "Yea i know. I think it will be good for both of them in the long run" I said and he nodded. "Where is his mom" I asked. "At home raising her daughter. She didn't want a son plus we were like a one night stand so" he said and I nodded. "Where is Lo's dad" he asked. "Well I was raped" I said. "I'm so sorry. When I first saw you I thought you were a stuck up girl with a silver spoon in your mouth. Then when you blushed real hard when I talked to you I knew you been through some shit. I honestly wanted to get to know you. In my head we were going to be together forever. So I'm speaking it into existence. It's gotta happen now" he said and I felt my cheeks turn red. "Good night Destin" I said. "Good night Clover" he said. He helped me take Loyalty and her stuff in the house.
