"hey babe." i called out to Jinyoung as he walked into my room and laid down on my bed.
"you want to go out today?" i asked him as he checked his phone.
"no, i have something on." he said and dropped his phone on the bed and closed his eyes.
"i need to pee." he said and walked out of the room.
"okay..." i said and continued packing my things.
suddenly, his phone rang.
i checked the notification and a person named, 'her" appeared on the screen.
the message read.
her: gg out 2nite right? can't wait!!:)
"what is this?" i asked myself.
i entered the passcode and went into Message.
the chats were all about meeting and shit and it looks like they were meeting tonight.
yesterday, 02.47am
jinyoung: let's meet at the usual place;"))
her: okay!!
"the hell?" i asked myself.
Jinyoung walked into the room and i quickly went out of Message and switched off the phone.
"what are you doing?" he asked me.
"nothing." i said, with my voice cracking.
"are you okay?" he said as he eyed me suspiciously.
"yeah, i am fine." i said and walked out of the room.
later at night...
i waited for Jinyoung to exit the house then i scrambled down to follow him.
i put on my black hoodie and took my hat and followed him down.
he flagged down the taxi and i flagged down one too, to follow him.
he went down at a bus stop and then he suddenly hugged this girl at the bus stop.
"those idiots..." i thought to myself.
they held hands and walked towards the restaurant near the bus stop and i alighted at the bus stop and followed him.
they went into the restaurant and i went in and took a seat far away from them but with a bird's eye view of the disgusting act.
they were acting all lovey dovey and i felt like crying all of a sudden. a wave of sadness and fury swept over me and i closed my eyes.
"why must you do this?" i asked Jinyoung in my mind.
they ordered their food and i continued to eye them from afar.
i could not take it anymore and i stood up with my fist clenched.
i walked towards their table.
"what do you think you are doing?" i asked him.
he stood up and tried to explain but my hand swung across his right cheek.
"chae eun ah..." he said.
"what do you think you are doing?" the girl asked me and raise her hand to slap me but i caught her hand and twisted it.
"what am i doing?! he is my boyfriend so i have the rights to do whatever i want." i said and let go of her.
Jinyoung held my hand and pulled me out of the restaurant and into an alley near it.
"i am sorry chae eun ah, i am so so sorry." he said.
"you want me to forgive you even you made a stupid mistake?!" i said. "what do you take me for?" i said with tears streaming down my face.
"i am sorry." he said and looked down.
"stop saying sorry cos i will never forgive you. let's just break up and you can go to that useless dog of yours." i said and walked away.
"chae eun please! just give me one more chance!" he begged.
"i gave you many chances, but this time it is just too much. i don't want to see you again." i said and snatched my hand away from his.
i walked out of the alley and into the another alley further away from it and sat on the bench and cried my heart out.
i felt hurt and heartbroken that a person i trusted could do something like that.
"ha, i found you." i heard someone said and i spun around and i saw that nasty dog from just now.
"you think Jinyoung likes you?" she provoked me and i stood up.
"why do you care?" i asked her.
"why i care? it's not like i care but i think he lost interest in you. i am prettier, and way better than you." she said.
"you are so superficial." i said.
"anyway, even if he likes me or not, i am not going to care cos i have broken up with him." i said. but deep down, i felt scared for life.
"yeah, anyway he is mine now." she said.
"you can have him bitch." i shot back and walked away.
suddenly, she pushed me from behind and i fell onto the floor.
i turned around to lie on my back and i sat up but she had a rock in hand and hit it down hard on my shoulder.
"ow!!" i screamed and fell back onto the floor.
she raised the rock up and aimed for my head but i dodged it and she tried another time and i caught her hand with my two hands.
"stop it." i said but she tried to hit me again.
"stop it!!" i screamed again but someone pushed her off me.
"chae eun!" Jinyoung said and helped me up.
"Jinyoung, what are you doing here?" i asked him.
"i heard your scream." he said and his eyes suddenly widened.
"WATCH OUT!" he shouted as he wrapped his arms around me and pulled me towards him.
that nasty dog swung a metal pole towards me but Jinyoung took the hit.
"NO!" i screamed as i saw the pole hit him.
"oh my gosh!" the dog said and she scrambled away.
"Jinyoung, Jinyoung no..." i said as i looked him in the eye and the tears just spilled uncontrollably.
he was still conscious and his arms were still around me.
"i am sorry Chae Eun... for being a stupid idiot, if i could live my life all over again, i won't do such a thing. i am sorry, please forgive me. and i love you" he said and a tear rolled down his cheek and with a weak smile.
"don't say that... Jinyoung! Jinyoung!!" i screamed as he fell onto my shoulder, and his hands let go of me.
"Jinyoung! don't die..." i said.
"i am sorry... i am sorry... please don't die, i love you." i begged as i leaned into him and cried like no tomorrow.
in the hospital...
"doctor, how is he?" i asked the doctor.
"he is fine but he is still unconscious." he said.
i sunk back into the seat and cried.
"why must this happen?" i asked myself.
"you can visit him." the nurse told him and i walked into the room.
"Jinyoung..." i said and covered my face as tears rolled down.
"i am sorry..." i said in between sobs.
"don't be." someone said and i opened my eyes.
"Jinyoung!"i exclaimed and held his hand.
"don't be sorry, be thankful that this happened as through this, i learnt that i should always treasure you and love you with all my heart." he said weakly.
"thank you for waking up." i said and kissed his cheek.
"please forgive me." he whispered.
"yes, i love you." i said as i kissed him again.
