They say love hurts;
And I finally know what it felt like.
Jimin was busy getting ready in his room. Today, he is going to meet his crush, Gyuri. They have planned this meeting from weeks ago without end.
Of course, he's not the only one that is going to hang out with Gyuri. The other members are going too. And they all are getting suited up as well.
"Okay. So I got my tie, my lucky underwear, and my best outfit. I'm sure this will make her focus on me all night." Jimin thought.
Meanwhile everybody was trying to look their best, Hobi didn't really care, he just wore his casual outfit. White t-shirt, black jeans, and sneakers. "It's not like I'm going out with the president or something." He thought. He then wore his cap sideways, and strutted over to his friends.
"You're not ready yet?"
"Wait.. I just need to make sure everything looks good." Said Namjoon while combing his hair.
"Okay then. How about you guys?" Asked Hoseok.
"Nope." Answered all of the others simultaneously.
"Well Ok.. wait. Where's Jimin?"
"He is in his room, preparing for stuff." Yoongi answered with a straight tone.
"Why don't you check on him, hyung?" Said Taehyung.
"Alright." He said as he walked to the assigned corridor.
It's probably better for him to go check on Jimin than listening to his friends about which is better, leather or denim. Hoseok is getting sick of that.

"Did i miss anything?" Jimin asked to himself.
"Ah! How can I forgot!"
He quickly opened his drawer, and pulled out a small, purple box.
He opened the box, and inside there is a silver encrusted ring, with a well-sculpted diamond laced on top. Jimin smiled.
"Okay. So this is the day. You're finally gonna confess to Gyuri your true feelings. Just remember, be calm, and don't panic. And whatever you do, don't ever--"
Jimin's thought was halted by a knock on the door.
"Jimin! It's me, Hobi! Can I come in?"
Jimin hurriedly closed the box, and put it in his pocket.
"Yeah, just open the door!" Answered Jimin happily. Hearing an approval, Hoseok opened the door.
"Wow, you sure are suited up. I've never seen you wear this suit. Is it brand new?" Asked Hobi.
"Yes it is, actually. I bought it two days ago with Jin. He was searching for new shoes." Jimin said, chuckling.
"Well okay."
"..."
"...Jimin?"
"Yes?"
"What's that in your pocket?"
"..."
"Guys! The driver's 'ere!" Screamed Jungkook. The others looked through the window in response. They quickly stood up to head to the front door to catch their ride.
"Ah, that's our ride right? Let's go." Said Hoseok. He seems like he forgot about what he just asked before. Jimin felt relieve and followed the older to the car.

"Oi Jimin." Suga uttered.
"..hm?"
"Why the fuck are you wearing a suit? We're just gonna meet up at a cafe, not at a fancy restaurant!"
"..."
"...whoops."
*Laughter*
"C'mon guys.. he just wanted to wear his new suit!" Said Hoseok.
"Yeah.. we can relate." Said Namjoon, patting his friend his the back.

After 25 minutes on the road, they finally arrived at the assigned cafe. "So, we finally arrived. Sooyeo cafe." Asked Namjoon to check. Jin nodded. "It's been a long time since we've been here."
"Then, let's go in."
They all walked in the cafe, and chose a place to sit. They then just started rambling and talking to each other.

"Soo.. why did you choose to go?" Taehyung asked.
"Free food, duh." Suga answered boldly.

Sooyeo cafe is an above average cafe. The drinks are delicious, the dishes are nice, and the decor is on point as well. The members all love to hang out at this place. But sadly, this place is pretty far from their dorm, so they never really went there often.

Hoseok received a text message.
"..."
"Guys, this message is from Gyuri. She said she's already here."
The other members quickly looked around, searching for any signs of said female.
"Oh look! There she is!" Exclaimed Jungkook as he pointed at Gyuri, still looking around.
"Shh... No pointing." Said Jin in a motherly tone, whilst pulling down Kookies arm.
Gyuri then smiled, followed by her quickly walking to the boys. She then took a seat, next to Jimin.
Jimin's heart skipped a beat as Gyuri was sitting next to him. "What should I do?" "What should we talk about?" "What if something bad happens?" Is the only lingering thought on his head right now.

"Good evening, what can I get you today?"
"Uhm.. can I get.."

After about an hour, everybody had finished their meal, and they're ready to go home.
"Should I order an Uber?" Asked Jin.
"Yeah."
"Go ahead."
"Yes."
"Okay."
"I don't care."
"Well then, it's a yes." Jin smirked at straight-faced Yoongi, then quickly ordered a ride home.
"G..guys, can I stay here a little longer with Gyuri? I'll wait until her brother picks her up." Said Jimin, stuttering.
"Well if that's what you want, but that means you'll have to go home alone." Namjoon answered.
"That's OK."
"Okay then--"
"THERE'S THE RIDE GUYS, LET'S GO!" Screamed Jungkook. Jin tried to silence him.
"Wow, that was quick." Hoseok uttered.
"Less talking, more walking. C'mon." Said Taehyung while wrapping his hands around Hobi and Kookie's shoulders.
Hobi turned around, and said goodbye to the younger male. Jimin smiled and waved in response.

It's time.
"Uh.. Gyu.. Gyuri..?"
"What is it Jimin?"
"I.. I've been feeling something different whenever you're around. I know this might seem.. unusual, but.."
Jimin took the purple box from his pockets and kneeled down.
"..would you go out with me?"
"..."
Silenced filled the entire room as Gyuri fidgeted around, seemingly wording out an answer in her head.
"I'm sorry Jimin. I.."
"I don't have that sort of feelings for you. I see you as a friend, and let's just keep it that way, Okay?"
Jimin froze in his place. He wanted to open his mouth, but his jaws locked into place.
His heart is broken.

Welcome to the end of chapter 1! Don't expect much because this is the first story I have ever made in Wattpad. Honestly, I wrote this just for my besties to see, but I guess there is not really a problem posting it (This will probably only get 5 reads). But, I hope you like it.
