You had nowhere to go. You had gotten kicked out of your apartment for not paying your rent on time or making to much noise while gaming. You didn't know where to go and you needed help with your things so the person you called was your best friend David. He was always there for you when you needed anything. Anytime you name it. After the phone call he arrived shortly after and helped with your things.
"David. I have nowhere to go."
"Nonsense. Ye live with me now."
You were in shock and you didn't know what to say. He always cared about you and your well being. He honestly was so good to you and you didn't know how you got so lucky to have him as a best friend.
"Thank you."
"It's really nothing."
"David I mean it."
After a short drive to his house you entered the house and took it all in this was your new home.
"Oh I forget to mention ye have another roommate."
He picked his dog Joe off the ground and held him as he looked around and then finally layed his puppy dog eyes on you. Placing your hand out Joe began licking it.
"Welcome home."
