last night while thinking
of the life ahead
walking among the branches
of our history tree
with budding ideas
eternally growing
the leaves reflecting
replaying
clips of our adventures
through valleys
into caverns
atop mountains
into the stars
before shooting back down
to Earth
and into our tree.
