The unconcerned life of the childhood
The delight we collected as much as we could
The heartbreaks of the teenage
The fake friends, the fights that were savage
The lessons learned, just as life took turns
The confidence that was accomplished
The teary moments that went by a blur
The maturity that came with time
The silence that was adopted for life
As in adulthood I started to enter
I had responsibilities to whom I had to surrender
Less moments to enjoy the sunshine
No time to take a pause as in a rush, life was confined
The beautiful soulmate I met
Then I had family to protect
The preplexed situations gave no time to look at myself
The realization hit soon that I was too old to prove myself
The only thing I had left with me
were the memories that I replayed in my mind
The regrets of how things could be
Also the experiences that I was taught on my way
Happiness and memories matter the most
as on the death bed I waited for life to end.
