I am now only a memory,
A thing in the past.
Only a particle of history,
Something that will forever not last.
My presence so temporary,
has disappeared so fast.
My use about to reach expiry,
Disappearing with time so vast.
Memories will be misplaced,
Will be know only as a little fragment.
Memories will be replaced,
By the present.
Memories will be untraced,
Lost and know resentment.
Memories will be erased,
And at one point be absent.
I am very afraid,
Afraid to be forgotten.
Destiny has put a barricade,
It caused my life line to flatten.
I lurk behind the shade,
But I am starting to become rotten.
I am starting to fade,
This is what life has begotten.
Will my resistance,
Be working?
Will my existence,
Worth reminiscing?
Will my presence,
You will be missing?
Will my essence,
You will still be feeling?
Will my effort to remain work?
Or will my connection be severed?
I am doing all I can do,
So I wonder, will I be remembered?
