One thing that bothered you about your best friend Nolan, was that he lied to you constantly. You always knew something was up, but you never said anything. Lately, more than ever, he has been acting stranger.
"Nolan, what is up with you?" You questioned.
"Nothing, why?"
"Something is up, we both know it. I just don't know what it is."
"Y/N, can you just trust me?" Nolan asked.
"No, because I know you've been lying to me." Nolan's phone suddenly went off.
"I have to go." He told you.
"Are you serious?"
"Y/N, I'm sorry."
Nolan walked out of your house and you just sat on the couch and cried. You weren't a crier, but you couldn't help it right now. You were losing your best friend, and you had no idea why.

You were sound asleep in your bed when knocking at your window woke you up. You got up and opened the window. Nolan.
"What the hell do you want?"
"I need to tell you something." You motioned for him to come in.
"Tell me the truth. No more lies." You demanded.
"I am." You sat down on your bed and Nolan sat next to you. "I'm a hunter. I hunt werewolves."
"What?"
"I hunt werewolves." He said again.
"No, I heard you, trust me. I just... that sounds insane."
"The supernatural is real, Y/N. And it's my job to help get rid of all of it."
"So you go out and kill supernatural people?" You questioned.
"Well, I never kill them, apparently I'm too weak." Nolan said.
"You aren't weak."
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you this before, I just didn't know how."
"I forgive you. Just please don't keep things from me again."
"I won't, but Y/N, you can't get involved in this at all. It's dangerous." Nolan told you.
"I wasn't planning on it, trust me." You both laughed.
"Good." Nolan kissed your head.
"Can I go to bed now?"
"Ha, yeah sorry."
Nolan went to leave, but you stopped him.
"Nolan?"
"Yeah?"
"Stay. Please."
"Okay." He laid down next to you and wrapped his arms around you.
"Goodnight hunter boy."
"Goodnight Y/N." Nolan said laughing.
