'London, where are you going?'
I turn around.
'I have a late-night shift in the hospital.'
I walk to my car and get in. Why do I always have to work in the night? I love being an intern surgeon, but this is just too much. The hospital changes because of the shooting accident. There are more surgeons, more pressure and just too much panic. There is this one new surgeon and every nurse is falling for him.
Doctor Shawn Mendes. I have to say that he is handsome and hot, but I never got the chance to talk to him. I arrived at the hospital and ran inside.
'London, you and doctor Mendes are going to check up the patients.'
I walked towards him and saw that he was blushing.
'We finally got the chance to work together.'
His perfect, deep voice is amazing. He gave me some papers and his hand gently touched mine. In an half hour we did all of the work and we just sat in the cafeteria talking about everything.
'So London. Do you have a boyfriend?'
'Nope, do you have a girlfriend?'
'No, I'm still looking.' I drank my coffee and just enjoyed being in his presence.
'Lon..'
Our beeper was going on and I had to go. He had to go to the ER and I had to go to a patient. The time flew by and before I know my shift was almost over. I walked to the head nurse and just talked to her.
'Oh, doctor Mendes said that you should go to the on-call room.'
'Okay.'
I walked to the room and saw him sitting on a bed. I closed the door and he got up. He came closer and pressed me against the door.
'I finally got the chance.'
His lips were on mine and he locked the door. This would be a good morning. After he came, he laid down next to me and stared at me.
'Be my girlfriend.'
I rolled to his side and nodded. He came closer with his lips and just kissed me.
