New part. Enjoy!
Samantha's POV
The next morning, I woke up feeling beyond tired. I rubbed my eyes and took a shower. I sighed as I remembered last night. My dad had a talk with me. He said he was disappointed in me. He said he knows that sometimes people my age drink, like he had, but he wished I had called. He just gave me a long lecture and said I should learn from my mistake. But my mom is still grounding me. At least I can still have the guys over. If she took that away from me, I'd die. Seriously.
I changed into paint splattered shorts and a plaid button up shirt with the sleeves rolled to my elbows. I know. I look kind of nice in the outfit. My mom bought it for me one year and I never wore it. Since she grounded me, maybe I can look nice and suck up to her. Maybe she'll end the thing soon.
I brushed through my hair and let it down. I actually looked nice and dressed up. I was about to put on the makeup my mom tries to get me to wear, but I don't think I'll put myself through that torture. It isn't worth it. I put on my pink flip flops on and went down the stairs. It felt really weird so I put up my hair last minute.
"Sammy, you look nice," my mom said. Jace was already over. I smiled at him then turned back to my mom.
"Really? I thought I'd give it a try," I said, trying to sound innocent. Like there wasn't something I might be getting from this. My mom bought it. She smiled and placed scrambled eggs on my plate.
"No thanks, mom. I'm going to be heading off," I said. She nodded and looked at my outfit once more before waving goodbye. Once I got out of the house and into Jace's car, he looked at me strangely. Like he had me all figured out. Weird how my best friend knows me more than my own mom.
"What are you doing?" he asked.
"Nothing, just thought I'd look nice for once," I said, making my eyes go big and innocent. He rolled his eyes and said something like, 'You always look nice,' or something like that. But I might've heard wrong.
"Come on, Sam. I know you," he said.
"Well, my mom grounded me big time and I thought that if I wore the clothes she bought me, she might soften up," I admitted. He nodded.
"You look nice," he said. I felt my face get hot. Oh God! Was I blushing? Over a comment Jace said? I shook my head and mentally slapped myself. These clothes are messing with my mind. We drove over to pick up the guys and then headed towards Starbuck's. We sat there with our coffee while eating the pie that Tony's mom made.
"It's really good," Cory said. He was on his second slice. I laughed at how funny he looked.
"Yeah, man. Your mom should open up a pie shop," Callum added in.
"She wants to open a restaurant, but she says she's getting too old," Tony said.
"That's stupid. She's not that old. She looks young. If I didn't know she was your mom and her age, I'd tap that," Cory said, smirking. We all made faces of disgust. Tony glared.
"First my sister, now my mom?" Tony asked. Cory shrugged.
"That's disgusting, Core," I said. He shook his head and laughed.
"I'm just kidding, Sam. You know I'm still waiting for you to take my offer," he said. It was my turn to laugh.
"When the world are taken over by mutant frogs from outer space," I spat. He looked hurt then he smirked.
"Aw, that hurts, Samantha. You know you're the only girl for me," he said. For some odd reason, he looked sincere while saying it. Again, probably just the clothes getting to my head.
"Yeah whatever, Cory. We should get to school," I said. The guys nodded and we drove to school. We headed in different directions. On the way to my locker, I bumped into a girl with red hair.
"Sorry," she said softly.
"It's okay. Hey, are you new?" I asked. I've never seen her before.
"Yeah, I'm Amber Ellis," she introduced.
"Samantha Herald," I said. "But you can call me Sam."
"Hi Sam, do you think you can help me? I got lost. I need to get to my first class," she said. I nodded and looked at her schedule. Mr. Hernandez.
"You have the same class as me. You can follow me," I said. She nodded and smiled gratefully. She followed me into the class. I led her up to the teacher and Mr. Hernandez said she could sit by me in the empty seat. I led her there and stopped to talk to Cory and Jace. I saw from the corner of my eye, Cory and Amber share a smile. Did they know each other?
Cory's POV
I was sitting in class, waiting for Sam to get here. Jace was spacing out about something and I didn't want to bring him back to this hell of a reality. He's better off in lala land. I tapped silently on my desk and saw that Sam had come in the class with a familar red head. Ah, Amber. The girl from last night.
After my parents introduced us, they suggested I show her around. And I did. I brought her to my room. My parents probably left as soon as we went. We talked for awhile before I kissed her. She didn't stop me. As shy as she looks, she's not. I smiled at the thought of last night. No, we didn't have sex. She stopped before we got anywhere, but she was definitely wild. Looks can sure fool you.
Sam and her headed back towards Jace and I. By that time, Jace had snapped back to reality and was talking to Sam. Amber turned to me and had a smile plastered on her face. I smirked. I saw that Sam saw the exchange and confusion washed over her. She didn't ask anything though. If she asked, would I tell her? Probably. I mean, Amber was just one of the girls I sleep with. Nothing more, even if my parents want more than that. Right now, I only want Sam. For sure, I want her in bed, I can't help that I want that. But there's also another part of me that really wants her. It's strange.
Samantha's POV
Again, classes whizzed by, and soon, lunch came. Amber kind of ditched me after she met Monica, which kind of bugged me. No wonder I don't have a friends that are girls. They're too whiney and they tend to go to Monica.
Monica glared at me. Unlike me, her slap mark was still there. It was starting to bruise. I smirked. She was definitely still made at me for taking away 'her' Jake, who technically, doesn't exist. She should learn to get his name right. It's okay that she's still mad, I could care less. She's so worthless and pathetic.
"Hey, did you see the new girl?" Jace asked.
"Why are you interested?" Callum asked.
Jace shrugged. "She's pretty," he said. Weirdly, I felt something at the pit of my stomach. An uneasy feeling.
"Naw, not that pretty," Tony said.
"That's right, babe. I'm prettier, right?" Anna asked. I rolled my eyes. She seemed a bit clingy. Tony didn't answer her and turned away. Go Tony!
"Tone!" she whined.
"Anna, just leave him alone," I said. She glared at me.
"Last time I checked, Tony is my boyfriend. You're just a lost puppy," Anna snarled. I rolled my eyes. And to think we were usually civil towards each other.
"Anna, don't be rude," Tony scolded. Anna's eyes went wide.
"You're sticking up for her? I'm your girlfriend. Been so for the past freaking 3 years, don't forget Tony. Don't let that slut pull you away from me," Anna said, her eyes tearing. Now I feel bad. I don't want to get in between them.
"Sam is NOT a slut," Tony said through clenched teeth.
"Yes she is. First, she took away Jace from Monica and now she's taking you from me. She's trying to keep you guys to herself," Anna said. I stood up.
"I'm fine, Tony. Don't argue, okay? I'm going," I said. I'll be the nice person and leave before it gets nasty. Jace held my wrist and pulled me back down.
"Stay, Sam. The person that needs to leave is Anna," Jace said. I could feel the tension.
"Tony!" Anna screamed. Everyone was turned towards us now. Tony shook his head.
"Sorry Anna, but Sam is my friend. And truthfully, I just don't like you anymore. We're over," Tony said. Anna looked at him in disbelief.
"You're leaving me for her? I can't believe you. Fine!" Anna said and ran out. I felt kind of bad. Suddenly, I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. They pulled me up and slapped me. Monica.
"You slut. I can't believe you're so heartless and selfish. They may be your friends, but the have a right to have another life besides you. They have the right to have girlfriends," Monica spat. "First you took Jake from me and now you took Tony. Next you'll take Cory from Amber." Cory? Amber?
"First of all, it's Jace. He was never with you anyway. Second, what do you mean Amber and Cory?" I asked. She laughed.
"Don't pretend to be the innocent one. You know that Cory and Amber are together. Amber told me that they're dating. You are so unbelievable Samantha. You sleep with each and every one of them so that you could keep them by your side. You're pathetic, whore!" Monica said. I stared at her, shocked. Who in the world said I was sleeping with them. I'm still a freaking virgin!
"I don't and haven't slept with any of them," I insisted more to the school than to just Monica. I'm not a slut!
"Well, we all know you sleep with Cory. I mean, that's why he couldn't sleep with anyone for the past few weeks. Because you've been sleeping with him and said that he couldn't sleep with anyone else," Monica said. I looked at Amber, who seemed so shy. She was smirking.
"Who told you that?" I demanded.
"Amber did," Monica said. I gawked at her. Amber doesn't even know me.
"I never slept with Sam," Cory said, glaring at Amber.
"Too late to defend yourself, player. We all know you haven't exactly been getting 'some' lately," Monica said. Cory looked frustrated. He hasn't been sleeping with people? Well, of course he has. He always come out of closets with different girls. They definitely look like they've been having sex. My eyes started to water. Everyone thinks that I have been sleeping with my best friends. My life is screwed. I ran out of there.
"She's running away because she can't admit the truth," I heard Monica snicker. I felt it hard to breathe suddenly. I went inside Jace's car and cried. Soon, there was a knock at the door. I wiped my eyes and saw Cory. He jingled Jace's car keys in front of me and smiled. I smiled weakly. He drove me home. We went up to my room and I started to cry again. He hugged me and I hugged him back.
"It's kind of true what she said," he whispered in my ear. I pulled away from him and looked at him, confused.
"I haven't exactly slept with anyone for the past few weeks," he said. "It's because of you." My eyes widened.
"What?" I asked, my voice hoarse from crying.
"I like you, Sam," he admitted. My heart stopped. Before I knew it, I was kissing Cory. Maybe it was because I felt so helpless, but we were making out on the bed. Clothes disappeared and things got out of control.
I lost my virginity that day.
*Didn't see that coming did you?
Don't hate me! This is far from the end. Things are still gonna be happening in this story
