A few days later, in the afternoon, I am home alone. I decide to text Jared, and talk to him about the strange behavior between Michael and Jeremy, and their friend Rich.

I go onto google, and search up 'What Is A Squip?' I have to scroll for a few second before I find answer.
"Super computer takes over high school, putting everybody in danger." I mutter the title to myself aloud, "by unknown. Hm.. this looks promising." I click on the article, and read the paragraphs.
(I wrote this definition ^-^ I'm proud of myself, lol)
"A squip is a super computer in the form of a small, green and blue pill, that when you consume with Mountain Dew, starts to control your body, and tell you what to do. Very few nice squips have ever been recorded, because they are mostly evil, demanding, and controlling.
A squip can either lead you to suicide, homicide, and/or drive you to insanity. It can, out of force of nagging and shocking, make you give other people squips, control your body, and constantly tell you what to say, do, and how to live your life.
This pill can be taken away my Mountain Dew Red, which was discontinued in the 90s. Yet, you can still find it in few stores today, like a few Spencer's Gifts stores around the world, such as in New Jersey.
A student, whom I will not name, got ahold of this pill at a high school a few years back. Just months ago, he shared it with his peer, who we will also not name.
Both of their squips were evil, and did very bad things. One made its host burn down a house during a Halloween party, and the other made its host cut ties between their best friend.
The issue has been resolved at that high school, fortunately. The squips are gone, hopefully, and everything is mostly normal.
Yet, there is one more thing about squips; they never really go away. Weeks, months, even years after somebody presumes a squip is gone from their minds, it comes right back.
Usually, squip that comes back it weaker, and cannot take over bodies again, or control the mind. But it can still talk, and shock the host of it whenever it wants. But, one or two squips have been recorded coming back even stronger than they were before.
Mountain Dew Red will not do anything anymore once the squip comes back. It can shut the squip up for a day or two, and make the electrocution less extreme, but will not get rid of it entirely, nor be permanent.
There is no known way to get rid of a come-back squip, as we are aware of right now. The host is left to suffer, until the squip leaves on its own, or the host eventually dies."
I finish reading, and my eyes widen as I take a few moments to take in what I have just read. I inhale, turning off my phone.
I know what's wrong with Jeremy...
