Safiya's POV;
As always, anyone would find me sitting in a diner.
Johnny Rockets, probably the best diner I know of and only been to.
"I'll have the usual, thanks Manny" I respond back to my favourite server that serves me whenever I come along.
As I sit and scroll through my phone for a few minutes and see Manny walk over with my favourite.
A tuna melt and Oreo milkshake, they have absolutely amazing service, no doubt.
As I sit in my booth alone eating away the tuna melt, I then hear everyone that serves and everyone in the kitchen tell "HELLO" as anyone comes into the diner.
A tall man walks over to the singular booth in front of me and his wearing pitch black sunglasses, guess it's his 'thing'.
I call Manny over nicely asking for some mayo, I absolutely love mayo with my sweet potato fries that come along with my tuna melt. As I see him bring over the mayo I clap in excitement as always.
I reach over to grab my milkshake and make eye contact with a beautiful man, his glasses are off and his chatting to Frankie, the waiter.
His eyes are a soft shade of dark brown with a hint of green.
I immediately look down at my food and begin picking at my fries.
A few minutes pass as I chat to Manny as he has his work break.
The tall man walks past my table and swings a note past.
"Don't you dare pick it up" Manny looks at me in direct contact.
Manny and I are great friends, we met obviously the first time I came here, a few years ago. We're both the same age, 17.
"Why not?" I ask also looking at him directly.
"Who would open a random note thrown onto your table at a diner?"
"People in movies" I reply as I giggle and move my hand towards the note.
"Please no" Manny replies in deep seriousness as if a Explosion would occur.
"Hey Cutie, Hit me up ; *number*

"Wow way to make a move" Manny replies as I read the note out.
"Oh shut up." I reach into my pocket and grab my phone and text him quick.
Safiya; Hey, you're the guy from the diner?
"Are you serious, Saf" Manny looks at me like a way my Parents would.
"Worth a try" I say leaving my cash on the table and grabbing my things together.
"I'll fill you in on the details"
"You better"
"See ya, Love" I reply back giving a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Before I walk out the door I shout out "bye " to the owner Marc.
As I walk home, my phone makes a sound.
