Works like this are made to be digested, slowly broken down multiple times until the barest of bones satisfies a primal need for knowledge and I expel the vast waste in huge meaningless clumps retaining what I can not yet understand. Instead I inhaled it, made it a part of me, used it to satisfy an entirely different need, one that is even more primal and far less adaptable, one that will remain inside me until it completely saturates my being and then I breathe it out in an entirely opposite form, bitter and cruel who can no longer satisfy me. This is how I learn. This is how I live.
