Anokha Kashi
The place that I speak of now,
It's the land of the mighty,
Land of the brave.
Protected by Great Lord Shiva himself.
An ancient city with a rustic charm,
Has a culture so vibrant,
It will leave you enthralled.
The colossal structures standing tall,
Shall make you wonder, leave you in awe.
What used to be the land of kings,
Is now the land of people with dreams.
Dreams that are full of passion and zeal,
To make this world a brighter place.
Engraved upon the pages of history,
Lie some magnificent stories.
Stories of legends part of this city,
Whether it is Tulsidas or Munshi.
Amidst all chaos and trying life.
Tranquility lies near the Ghats of Ganges.
A gust of wind will touch your life,
As you take a dip in the holy water.
Rejuvenated you'll again,
As sparks of energy will flow through your viens.
That's when realisation dawns upon you,
For you ran into yourself again.
The folks here are one of a kind,
For they are humble, brave with witty minds.
With fiery temper, they can be a little shy,
A little notorious, yet spiritual and kind.
Kashi shall always remain a giver forever.
For it gives,
Birth a blessing,
Death - Salvation,
Life a meaning,
And soul to self.
