One Month later
" Alright so what your saying is the mue can be time or a constant number given?" I questioned. I finally decided to get tutoring since I want to graduate. Alice made me care for school and actually gave me motives to push my life forward and leave the bad stuff in the past.
"Uh.. oh-yea it goes like that and now plug it into the formula and make sure to factor the factorial and I think you know what to do from there," she grinned proudly. Thanks to Brenda I was able to pick up my grade in math. I would of asked Alice to help me but math isn't her strongest subject and she's barely mainting a C which isn't all that good since im trying to at least maintain straight B's.
"I think I'm done?" I said unsurely as I handed my paper to Brenda. She smiled and nodded her head at me.
"So can we end this session early?" I asked wanting to see Alice.
"Oh um yeah. Why not cut it early and let you go," she said smiling at me. I don't know why but her smile looked force. I shrugged it off and walked away with my books in my hand.I went to the bathroom since I really had to go. After taking care of some business I walked down the halls and saw my truck nearby. I noticed a paper stuck to my truck wind shield. Hmm wonder what that's about-it better not be one of those fuckers leaving their number for Alicd again cause if it is I swear to-
I stopped thinking once I saw it had my name with hearts on it.

The fuck is this shit. Why would I leave Alice for some known girl who basically sounds like a prostitute. I crumpled the paper and threw it away. I then got in my car and decided to drive over to Alice's job to go eat there. As I drove I noticed a black car with black tinted windows following me. I shrugged it off and within ten minutes I arrived at Byrne's burgers and milkshake restaurant. I was Seated and notice Brenda worked here too since she arrived within minutes. I saw Alice and smiled at her. She rolled her eyes at me and stuck out her tongue. Just then Brenda appeared and stsrted talking to me about what I wanted to eat.
".. and that is the special. would you like to try it?" she asked. I looked at her confused and realized she was telling me the special. I was too busy focusing on Alice that I got distracted.
"I'd rather grt the burger with fries and for the drink tell Alice make it for me."
Alice always knows how to surprise me with drinks so I trust her.
I took out my phone and noticed I had one text message.

Stop stalking me at my work
I looked up and noticed her smiling at me as she attended other customers.
To: Babe
Nah, I like stalking you because it's fun
Just then Brenda came and tried to make small talk with me. I'm grateful that she's helping me out but that doesn't necessarily mean were friends automatically.
"Brenda can you call Alice over," I said cutting her off. She kept smiling but it looked forced again. She walked away and called over Alice who came.
" What can I do for you sir," she beamed smiling at me.
"For one you can get me that drink I asked for," I whined trying to look bothered.
"Oh man up and it's right here," she muttered making me crack a smile.
"Thanks babe and you should come eat with me," I pleaded hoping she'd cave in to my offer.
"Lucky for you my shift is over," she pipped up sitting next to me. Just then Brenda came and for some reason this girl was starting to annoy me but it could be because she was sending daggers at Alice.
"Oh hey Alice. Im guessing your shift is over huh?" Brenda asked with a really high pitched voice. Thank goodness I don't have to attend any tutoring lessons with her anymore since I think I already know how to do it.
"You don't have to pretend to be nice to me. We both know you hate me because you liked Marvin and im guessing your crushing on my boyfriend now," Alice snapped making me realize a lot of things.
"Alice I dont know what your trying to imp-"
"Oh shut it," She snapped. Is it weird to say this side of Alice turns me on. I like how she can be feisty and aggressive.
"Whatever we both know Marvin wants me," she commented making me smile knowing no guy in their mind would want to date Brenda. It's not that she's not pretty but this girl has a nasty attitude and a view of things.
"News flash he has Tessa. "
I was up to her with Brenda's attitude. What she did next just blew me up. She had a drink in her hand and threw it at Alice. Alice was now soaking wet. Thank goodness their weren't many people here to pay attention because I know how embarrassed Alice might be feeling so I had to step up.
"Enough!" I roared making Brenda flinch and fall on her butt. Just then the manager came and looked mortified when he saw what was going on.
"Is this what you call customer service," I exclaimed mentioning toward Alice.
"Oh my goodness no. I'm so sorry-Please let me pay for the damages. Brenda in my office now and Alice don't worry well have your uniform clean and even pay for your next meal here free. I doubt you'd want to stick around right now but your drink is on the house sir," she said in one breathe. Alice stood up and thanked her manager as she left. I followed and started my truck. Alice looked furious but calm at the same time. I kissed her on the cheek and noticed she tasted like strawberry.
"You taste good," I commented making her laugh.
"Just drive you weirdo," she said playfully slapping my arm. Once we arrived home she went to shower. I stayed down stairs and kept texting Ernie.

Dude that Draft was bullshit! I don't get why Aaron Murray doesn't get drAfted already. Even Johnny Menzile got drafted as number 22 for fuck sakes.

I grabbed a bowl and poured some chips in. I walked over to the living room and turned it on to watch some recaps of football games I recorded. Just then I got a text.

Hey bro how you been
I can't believe I haven't talked to this girl in a while. She's like a sister to me and I know how sweet she is. I think she was friends with Alice and I want to unite again. Alice once told me why they weren't friends anymore and I think it would he nice for them to talk again.
To: Tessa
Hey why don't you come hang out at my place with Marvin
I know I might not like Marvin but I want to put things in the past. He's not a bad guy or anything so why not try to be friends. Damn Alice has changed me. If any of my friends knew how whipped I am they would laugh but I wouldn't care because they have never felt what im feeling and that's called love.
"Babe let's watch the championship game since we recorded it but never watched it. I bet Ernie hasn't watched it either."
That is why I love her too because she's into football. What more can I ask for. She's thing and even more than what I want.

The bell rung and I walked over with some cash in my hand. It was the pizza man and I even paid him tip. We set up the things and put on the match for championships. I recorded it but I never watched it because at the Time I wasn't right from the head and got into trouble alot.
"Guess who's here!" I groaned on purposely only to get smacked by three people. I looked up and glared at Alice and Ernie for smacking me. They both high fived eachother and laughed.
They all sat down hoping I'd start the game but I had to find a way to stall for the arrival of Tessa and Marvin.
"So umm who wants to make some sauce. Alice I thought you made some," I said trying to look serious.
"Oh right wow how did it not come to mind that we can't watch the game without sauce. What a terrible person I am," she mocked making Marisela and Ernie to crack up.
" Seriously dude we're gonna make a big deal about sauce," Ernie pipped up.
"Alright well I just wanted some but I guess you can't always get what you want," I commented looking dissapointed.
Alice groaned and threw me a pillow as she stood up to whip up a batch of sauce. I was actually in the mood for sause now to go with the chips. I decided to turn on the T.V and play the game since I really wanted to see it. It was showing a bit of commercials first and just in time the door rung.
"I'll get it!" Alice announced holding the sauce in her hands. She opened the door and I went and stood by her.
"Alice? Hey!" Tessa announced smiling.
"Wow Tess! I wasn't expecting to see you but im glad your here!" Alice squealed engulfing Tessa in a bone crushing hug.
"C-can't b-breathe Alice," Tessa managed to say. I smiled at there reunion and walked over toward Marvin. I took out my hand and he wore shades so I couldn't see what he was thinking. I wasn't doing this for Alice. Even though I could careless what people think I want to just settle this.
I was shocked when he actually shook it and smiled but didn't show how shocked I was. Atleast things were alright and no awkwardness.
"So we gonna watch the super bowl or what," he beamed grabbing the sauce I apparently had since Alice gave it to me to hug Tessa.
"Sea Hawks!" Ernie beamed.
"Kansas City!" I beamed.
"Kansas city didn't make it this far? " Marvin questioned.
"So Aaron Murray's in it so I go for them now," I argued.
