Audrey's p.o.v :
"Bdrr brrrrrd brrrrddd" i blew in my lattè through the straw making bubbling sounds while walking towards my locker.
"Ughhh stop it Audrey!" Amy said slapping my forehead.
"Hey! Who told you to go clubbing at college night, not my fault" I said and carried on blowing air in my lattè.
"Staaaaph" Amy said louder pushing my face away and I huffed annoyed but stopped blowing air into my lattè.
Why do people drink alcohol and stuff, it's so gross and it makes you feel funny. I mean it would be reasonable of it tasted good like apple juice but it tastes so gross and burns your throat. I tried it once and I'd rather not try it again. I mean people should go out have nice pinacolodas, rainbow swirl drinks, berry juice, apple juice, gingerbread lattè and oh-oh my favorite chai lattè like these ar-
"WHAT THE FUCK!" someone shouted pulling me out of my train of thoughts.
Ah oh.
Standing in front of me was none other than my school bully Braxton with my lattè all over his light blue tee which had the hulk drawn on it.
Stupid Audrey Stupid. Keeps on zoning out, look what you did now. You wrote your own death sentence!
"You little bitch...." and I sprinted out of his way.
I didn't look where I was going I just kept on running as fast as I could. I could hear the thumping of shoes behind me which meant he was hot on my tail.
Ah ha!
Locker guy!!!
There he was. Locker guy. Still don't know his name but he's my friend, I think.
He was standing with four other guys, all looked to be having a silent conversation .... which is gonna be ruined by me in 3, 2, 1
"Save me locker guy!! You look really strong beat him up!" I said rushing my words and hid behind the locker guy.
"I am going to take the...." Damien was cut short by someone crashing into him from behind while he was explaining his friends about the tactics he was going to use to beat his opponent tonight.
Damien clenched his jaw. His temper flaring up but when he saw who it was somehow his temper went down and he was rather confused.
It was the stupid girl who wouldn't get off his mind lately.
"Save me locker guy!! You look really strong, beat him up!" She said while panting, trying to catch her breath while pointing at a guy who was running after her.
Locker guy. Seriously. She doesn't know my name. Damien thought a bit surprised but got over it thinking that she was after all stupid.
"Oh you are so dead Audrey!" He shouted taking a step towards her.
For some reason Damien moved more in front of the stupid girl, shielding her as if on instinct.
Yet again Damien surprised himself by doing this.
"Look, man , I got no beef with you it's that little bitch I want, she spilled her fucking drink on me!" He said outraged.
It was now that Damien noticed the big brown Lattè stain on the guy's tee.
What a mess, Damien thought
'Of course, she did' were Damien's thoughts
"But it was an accident! I didn't do it on purpose! , I am sorry okay!" Audrey said out loud peeking from behind Damien.
"Does it look like I give a shit if it was an accident or not bitch!" He shouted once more, this time charging towards Audrey.
Damien acted quick, twisting Braxton's arm behind him in a very unnatural angle, restraining Braxton.
"Aaahh !" Braxton screamed in pain.
" you leave the girl alone" Damien hissed in Braxton's ear menacingly.
"Am I clear!" Damien said a little bit louder when he didn't get an answer and twisted Braxton's arm a little more.
"Aaahhh okay okay man fine okay!" Braxton shouted in pain.
Damien left Braxton pushing him out in the hallway and Braxton scampered off.
"Well done well done!" Audrey stupidly patted Damien's lower back as that's what she could reach.
Damien turned towards her giving her a weird look making her feel stupid.
"You just can't stay away and mind your own business can you?" Damien said in a scolding tone making Audrey pout.
"I am sorry.... but it was a mistake and and he was after me what was I suppose to do he would've killed me and eaten me with BBQ sauce!" Audrey said making air gestures over exaggerating things.
"I don't care okay! Just don't come to me when this stuff happens, now move away" Damien said raising his voice just a little .
"Hey! No need to be rude! , I'll go, I'll go thanks for saving me though" Audrey said smiling wide in gratitude in the end.
That smile.
It was beautiful. Damien thought and he was now regretting being rude to her .
Snap out of it! Damien scolded himself, there was something very very wrong with him.
He watched the stupid girl skip out off his sight.
Audrey's p.o.v :
I snapped my gaze towards Amy when she poked me with her elbow.
I looked down on the table to see a paper that Amy was passing me, I took it and in folded it.
'What is it that I am hearing rumors going around the school about you and Damien?' It said
'Damien who ?' I scribbled passing it to her
'Oh you tell me , I've heard that he carried you on the hallway and even scared Braxton the bully off for you' Amy scribbled.
Ohhh his name is Damien. No more locker guy.
'Yeah those things happened why what's the big deal ?' I wrote
'THE HELL! YOU GOT CARRIED BY THE HOTTEST GUY IN SCHOOL WHO DOESN'T EVEN GIVE A SECOND GLANCE TO ANY OTHER GIRL IN THE COLLEGE AND IS AN UNDERGROUND FIGHTER' Amy wrote in big letters. Gosh, I could almost hear her screaming those words.
Oh, so he is an underground fighter that explains his moves on Braxton.
'You know quite a lot about him ' I scribbled.
'Well duh! He is hot !' Any scribbled and I shook my head.
'I am so excited to see his and your drama ' Amy scribbled again.
I doubt it. He told me to stay away from him...... but then again he helped me and I just wanna be his friend I mean what's wrong with being friends , I'll try not to annoy him much that way we could be friends or even best friends forever or not cause that's Amy but since he is so tall he could reach those animal pop up books on the top shelf of the library with ease and he could get those books for me and al-
"Trinnnnnggg " I was pulled out of my thoughts yet again by the bell.
"Rey I am gonna leave for the airport right now cause mom 's flight is gonna land in half an hour and I gotta pick her up so you're gonna be alone for lunch or just sit with Brandon " Amy said and I pouted.
"Okays Amy say hi to your mom for me, I'll visit soon " I said waving as Amy left.
Just great. So here I am in the cafeteria alone looking for a place to sit. Brandon apparently went out for lunch with his friends, just great.
Damien. Empty table. I made me towards it as soon as I saw the empty table and only Damien sitting there engrossed in his phone.
Peaches. That's what Damien smelled all of a sudden and be looked up from his phone to see none other than the stupid girl.
Not again.
"Hey hi, Damien !" She greeted in an overly chirpy manner and Damien rolled his eyes.
"You know my name now" he said and she bobbed her head up and down nodding.
"Yes my best friend Amy told me and since I know your name you should know mine, it's Audrey but people call me Rey as ya know its short and easy plus it's pretty nice but you can call me Audi you know like that really expensive car or Reya or Dreya oh I like- " Audrey was cut short by Damien .
"Stop fucking blabbering, I'll just call you Audrey " Damien said annoyed but he couldn't deny that even her blabbering was adorable and be never used the word 'adorable' for anyone or anything.
"Oh sorry " Audrey said her cheeks burning red with embarrassment and she started biting her lips, a nervous habit of hers.
Damien watched as she then without saying a word opened her lunch box and as soon as she did the sweet smell of baked goods and strawberry hit his nose.
Damien was hungry. He did not have any lunch and was in no mood of eating the greasy cafeteria lunch so the smell of Audrey's baked goods was very alluring for him making his mouth water but he controlled his hunger.
"Here strawberry Swiss rolls, I baked them myself try some I have plenty" Audrey offered to put the box closer to him and there was no way Damien could've resisted and said no now.
He greedily took one of the Swiss rolls and took a bite.
He was shook. They were delicious and just like that Damien took another one, then another and then another.
Audrey giggled at the hungry man.
"Wow someone's hungry" she said grinning
"Oh yum yea" Damien said awkwardly not know what to say.
Just earlier he was telling the girl how she was annoying and should stay out of his way and now he is eating her lunch. Something's seriously wrong with him.
"Mind if I have one " Audrey asked chuckling to herself as Damien passed the box to her taking one last roll and passing the rest.
They were just so delicious.
For some reason Damien felt at ease sitting next to her, he didn't feel like getting away from her. He liked her sweet avocado scent and he just couldn't help but inhale a little more deeply so he could get her scent .
There was one thing Damien could clearly tell. She was very innocent.
