Ok guys, so as you know, during the vote, you were supposed to choose two from the options of Air, earth, fire, and water. Well, that leaves six possible combinations. I didn't count things like air and air or fire and fire.
1: Air and earth.
2: air and Fire.
3: air and water.
4: earth and fire.
5: earth and water.
6: fire and water.
The winning option was air and fire, which led to Notch giving you fire-proof wings.
My plan the whole time was for Notch to give you some special ability. Your vote affected what that ability was, and will therefore affect the story. Here's what the abilities were.
Air and earth: levitation abilities.
Air and fire: fire-proof wings (as you saw)
Air and water: breathing underwater.
Earth and fire: you can summon fire/lava at any time.
Earth and water: shape-shifting
Fire and water: you would have been immune to any type of heat/fire/lava. Basically, you could swim in lava and it wouldn't bother you.
The vote is over, so there's no changing the ability, but I thought you might be curious on what your choice did. With fire-proof wings, you might use it to protect yourself from a fireball, while if you'd had water breathing, you might have fled into a lake (which is useless if you're in the Nether so...).
