POV: Nuella
Where am I?
I clutch my head in pain as I try to remember what had happened.
"So the little lady is awake."
I replied to the voice with a groan.
"Boy, is she a grumpy girl."
"Shhh."
Shouldn't I be the 'little lady' who cowers in fear instead of being a total jerk and shushing my kidnapper? Nah, I don't think so.
But he sure is a stupid kidnapper not to tie my hands up. All they did was blindfold me and chain my foot. Tsk tsk. Why would he blindfold me if he already knew my hands were free? Baka. I'll just play around with them and be my goody-two-shoes self.
"W-Where am I?"
Even I was startled at how innocent my sickly sweet fake voice was.
"Oh honey bunch, just wait and see."
A hand gently stroked my cheek, and I moved back in surprise and disgust.
"Get your filthy hands off me, you-- you son of Hades!"
"Aw, is my little lady afraid to cuss?"
I rolled my eyes, but with the blindfold he obviously didn't see. Well, since my little innocent act had already started, I suppose I have to finish it.
"Where's my Joshie?"
"What the f*ck is a Joshie?"
"My boyfriend!"
The guy simply sighed but I could already feel his smirk stabbing at me, although I couldn't actually see anything. Hm... What should I be doing? Ah yeah, taking off this stupid blindfold. They really are just idiots.
The man in front of me was sitting on a chair facing me, but he didn't seem to notice me taking my blindfold off, as he was staring blankly at the wall on top of my head.
"I didn't actually expect people to look like monkeys in Earthland."
He looked straight at me and his eyes widened, him standing up quickly.
"Seriously, this is pure sexism! Just because I'm a woman, men go all I pity you and even forget to chain my hands!"
Okay, so maybe I over reacted a teeny bit.
"What are you even talking about?"
"I said, Ice God's Bellow!"
At that I knew I was already done with the man, seeing him unconscious on the floor. They really are underestimating me, you know? Freezing the chain and breaking it, I walked outside. This place, where am I?
The window showcased a long line of Sakura trees around the building, patches of greenery underneath them. Beyond that wonderful sight, though, was the complete opposite of it. It was a big dump.
The soil was dry. The floor, littered. Remains of a few plants were scattered all over the cracking floorboard-- I meant, soilboard.
POV: Natsu
What the hell is up with me being so stupid all the time?
Well, Natsu, it's a good thing you've realized it by now. You just had to close the door, Baka!
Let me see you make up your own strategy, you bossy little--
You do realize you're arguing with yourself right?
I huffed, not because I just had an argument with my own mind, but because I couldn't think of a different strategy. That foul mood lightened when I heard the door open.
"Ah, I see you're awake."
"FIRE DRAGON'S--"
"Hush. Don't attack. I'm going to let you go, not hurt you. Just listen to me."
As much as i wanted to attack, I couldn't. There was just something about his voice... It was different. Familiar, and hypnotizing.
"Do you know who I am, Natsu?"
My eyes scanned him, head to toe. He was blonde, the same shade of gold as Lucy's hair. His eyes were a light brown, and he had an obvious neatly-shaved mustache just on the top of his thin pink lips.
"I-- I don't think so?"
Why am I stuttering?
"Ah, I don't think you do either, young man. Well, Natsu, how is Lucy doing?"
"S-She's okay. In a comatose, but still alive."
Why am I even saying the truth? Hold back, Natsu!
"A coma?"
"Yeah."
"So I guess Miyuki hasn't told me the whole story."
I wanted to hit him at the mention of the b*tch's name, but his voice. His voice was a whole different story from everyone else's. It sounded so convincing.
"Well, Natsu, it was such a treat to talk to you. Tell Lucy that Ade said hello."
"Ade?" (A/N Pronounced as Aid or Eyd)
He nodded, and I don't know where he'd gone, but with that nod, he was gone. For some reason, I found him trustworthy. His voice was calm, soothing, and somehow it reminded me of Igneel. It was fatherly.
Easily, I found Erza, Gray, and Nuella, who had met up earlier and found Happy as well.
"Let's get going?" I asked.
"Wait... Where's Josh?"
My eyes widened and I saw Nuella clutch Gray's bare arm and squeeze it.
"OW!"
"Sorry. Can we look for Josh first?"
The rest of us nodded in response and we split up in search for Nuella's husband and Fairy Tail's very own snow mage. Yet he wasn't it the building.
"Any sign of him?"
"Nope."
"No one's in the building aside from us. Even the kidnappers aren't here anymore."
"Where are we anyway?" Nuella's eyebrows furrowed.
Gray and Erza looked out the window and both of them frowned. What was out there? I looked out as well. It was weird. Sakuras and grass at the front, and a complete wasteland at the back.
"I-- I think..."
"Erza. What?"
"I think we're in Reina?"
"Where the frick is Reina?"
POV: Erza
Has anyone ever wondered where I lived before Rosemary village? The village I lived in with Kagura and Simon? Actually, no one would hesitate to think I lived there my entire childhood. Yet I did not.
My family was just there for two years when we were taken and made slaves in the Tower of Heaven.
Before those two years, my preschool was spent in Reina.
"It's an Island, a boat ride away from Magnolia."
"Do you mean we have to find a boat to get out of this hell of a place?" Gray whined.
"We have to build a boat. This place was bombed a long time ago, I doubt there are still boats."
"How do you even know that much about Reina?"
"I...," I stuttered, "I've been here to complete a few jobs."
"Oh."
We proceeded to walk out the building and explore the island, yet I already knew perfectly well where we were, and what building we were in. That place was where I spent my kinder years. It was spared from the bombings, as the terrorists who bombed the place used it as a lair for the few days they were here.
"So, where do we go next?"
"Can we please please, please still look for Joshua?"
All of us knew how important Josh was to Nuella, so we agreed. All around, I knew the island by heart, so I walked around every place I recalled. But Joshua wasn't there. But what would those kidnappers need with him?
Since we couldn't find him in the island, I asked them to help me find bamboo, debris, vines, or left-over ropes so we could build a raft. It took Nuella a lot of persuasion to leave the island without Joshua, but with our quickly made raft, we were off the island in no time.
From afar, I could already see Magnolia port, and I think Natsu did as well, since he increased the flames he used to propel the raft forward. When we landed, we all ran to Fairy Tail.
My eyes widened, and I heard Natsu shout in rage.
"Who the f*ck would do this?!"
