Prompt: You enter a awful fight with your boyfriend, after that you find something out and lock yourself away both upset and heartbroken. Joshua your best friend finds out and can't help himself but come over and try to comfort you, but it doesn't really work his way.

You glare at your boyfriend Jackson, you were extremely upset and aggravated by him at this point now. It was apparently very 'stupid' of you to be upset by him forgetting your four year anniversary, but you had every right about it and you know it. He throws his hands up releasing an aggravated sigh before glaring at you with his dark green eyes.
"It was a simple mistake, and yet you make it seem like it's the end the world!" He snaps towards you.
"Maybe because it was our anniversary! Maybe because you had your head so far up your friends ass you completely forgot we had a date! And maybe it is the end of us you jerk!" You yell completely heartbroken and done with his sad excuses of missing important things you guys planned together.
"Oh whatever, you need me more than you think you do! Who else is gonna love you like I do!" You roll your eyes and storm towards the door.
"You'll be lucky if I return to you." You mutter angrily towards him before slamming the door and leaving heading towards your apartment, you needed a warm shower and sometime alone now.
As soon as you got home you shut your apartment door and put your back against it for support as tears fell down your face, you were heartbroken how could he forget? He did plan it after all.
You stepped into Jackson's apartment, he told you last night after your shower and the big fight you could come over. So there was no harm in being here, you walked through into the living room where you saw him on the couch with some red head sitting next to him.
His mouth was all over her neck which made you sick to your stomach, you shook your head vigorously before you stopped "What the hell?! This is what you do when I'm gone?!" You yelled catching both of their attention.
"Y-Y/n, baby hey- I- She means nothing." Jackson stutters.
"She obviously meant something you pig!" You snap.
Jackson gets up and heads towards your trying to grasp onto you "Oh hell no! Get off!" You throw a picture of him and his brother at him and continue grabbing stuff from around you to throw at him.
"Y/n stop! I'm sorry!" Jackson yells
"Not sorry enough, enjoy your slut on the couch." You walk out alone and heartbroken.
Later that night you were in your bed with wine, you had completely blanked about anything before the throw Jackson's stuff at him that you didn't even remember the part of you agreeing to go over there.
Joshua was your best friend, and like always he would come over on Fridays and watch comedies with you before you guys just ate food and had fun. He was currently crushing hard on you and wanting nothing more then for you to be happy and he thought that might happen if you were with Jackson, because he still didn't know what happened.
You hear your front door open and you panic, you forgot about your plans with Joshua so your thought was that it was Jackson. You look around your room, you didn't own much of anything that could hurt someone so you just got up and grabbed a pillow.
You crept towards the front of your apartment just as you turned a corner you heard a male voice scream which caused you to scream and run back towards your room dropping your pillow. Josh stopped and looked at the pillow smiling at your small unless defensive tool.
He picked it up and headed towards your room where you had ran and slammed your door, he should've been more composed than that but you did scare him.
"Get out!" He heard you yell from inside the room.
He slowly opened the door "It's me, Joshua! Don't throw another pillow." He slowly steps in and looks at you before noticing the wine bottle.
"Joshua?" Before he could answer you were hugging him and laughing which made him laugh "My word, Joshua you scared me to death. Who knew you screamed like a girl." He laughs before scowling at you playfully "I do not scream like a girl, you do." He scoffs.
"Because I am a girl." He chuckles nervously "Special occasion?" He points to the bottle and you look down nervously.
"Jackson cheated on me and we broke up pretty much." You answer quietly.
"Comedies it is then! Get the food, get the movies, get the blankets Joshua!" You laugh at Joshua as he runs around before coming back with everything he listed off.
You watched movies until the early 3:55 am, when you finally fell asleep.
You finally woke up at 1:01 pm, Joshua was already up but oddly watching you sleep "Morning there, shorty." You give him a small smile and hide your face in your pillow.
"Thank you Joshua, how did I get so lucky to have you?" He shrugs.
"I dunno but you managed to get me." You look at him.
"How about I take your mind off Jackson next Friday, on maybe a date?"
You smile at Joshua "That sounds nice actually." He looks at you "Then I guess it's a date." He smiles towards you making you return the smile.
