sometimes
the world loses its color
for a little while
I know it's temporary
but the fine print says it's permanent.
I don't think anyone can see me
down here,
it's so dark
that I can't even see myself.
what day is it?
I've lost my watch
and the sun has gone on a vacation.
the flowers turn away,
the grass doesn't wave,
and trees watch me solemnly as I pass.
