You began humming along to your favorite song while catching up on your reading. The arguing of each member of the crew over the breakfast table went unnoticed by you.
"Hey Name-can can you tell bepo to stop drooling all over my shirt!" You heard Sacchi yell from beside you. You turn to instead see penguin. He pointed over to Sachi who was drooling all over his shirt with fish in his hands.
"Umm. Sachi? You're drooling over your own shirt." You state, not seeing so much of a hair from the mentioned fluffy polar bear.
"No I'm not, bepo is!" He persists. It was penguin speaking again but he sounded just like sachi.
"Penguin?" You say, unsure of the game he was trying to play.
"Yes Name-san?" Jean Bart calls out but sounds just like penguin.
"Okay! You better tell me what prank you guys are pulling before somebody regrets it" you state, annoyed at their childish behavior.
" But Y/n-san! We aren't trying to prank you. " Bepo says from Sachi's body.
"Okay. So let me get this straight." You announced as the group sits in front of your standing form. You look at each of them to make sure they were paying attention. They all nod.
"So you six have tried to play a prank on Law-ya, got caught in the process and now he's switched your bodies." They all nod with each statement you say, indicating you got the gist of the story. " And now
Bepo is Sachi,
Sachi is Penguin
Penguin is Jean Bart,
Jean Bart is Ikkaku,
Ikkaku is Clione,
And Clione is Bepo." You state, counting your fingers as you go through the list, slightly confusing yourself in the process.
"Yup! Please help us Y/n-chan!" Clione shouts from inside Bepo's body.
"Yeah! If you ask him he'll listen to you!" Ikkaku reasons, speaking from Clione's body.
"Eh?! Im not so sure. He's always glaring at me every time I look over at him. Then quickly averts his eyes when he sees me staring back." You say unsure of your captain's intentions.
The whole group sweat drops at your ignorance. The fact that their captain had a thing for you was so blatantly obvious to them.
"Don't think too much of it, he does that." Penguin ,from Jean's body, tries to cover for their captain. Still trying to talk you into reversing their punishment.
"Well, I'll try." You decide, edging your way to the door.
"Hooray for name-chan!!" They shout in happy unison.
Knock knock.
"What is it." The eerie voice muffled through the door. Definitely not a good time.
"Sorry! I-ill come back" you shuddered, not wanting to have to deal with the angered captain.
Just as you were about to walk away, the door suddenly opened. You turned to look at a shirtless Law before you. His bare chest showing defined lines of his tattoos and muscles. You trailed up his form to look him in the eyes when he started talking.
"Is there a problem Y/n-ya?" He sounded worried but his face remained angered and annoyed. I upset him...
"There's. None." you said unsure of how to answer without upsetting him more. He sighed of relief. He seemed to breathe out a 'good' before turning to you again, it was so quiet though, you may have wondered if he really voiced it or if it was in your head.
"Then what is it?" He sounded genuine, if only his face didn't say opposite.
You turned your head and saw the group around the corner watching you. You sweat dropped. If there was a way of getting out of this then, there wasn't any now.
"I was wondering if you could. Um. Stop your punishment.. with the crew?" You questioned yourself more than him. He stood confused at first before turning his gaze at the direction the group was at. He must have noticed them because he instantly became annoyed again.
"I suppose they've learned their lesson." Law huffed in a somewhat stubborn way. You thought it was cute, smiling at his behavior. He took notice of your smile because he suddenly turned red at the cheeks before looking away. He closed the door before reopening it to be wearing his black coat, it wasn't zipped up though so his toned stomach still showed. The crew silently thanking you for persuading the captain, not that you did anything special.
He walked in front of you before reversing the curse he bestowed upon them. His eyes closed as he prepared a lecture.
All of a sudden you were in front of the crew.
"Now! I hoped you learned your lesson! Dont tempt me with another punishment because I will." He seethed in boiling rage. He walked back into his room, not noticing the very confused crew he left behind.
"Umm. Guys? What just happened?" Sachi whispered, in his actual body now.
"I am just as confused as you guys" Ikkaku replied looking at you curiously.
"Why did Name-chan yell at us and run into the captains room?" Penguin questioned.
"Maybe she's mad we made her do so many favors for us." Clione reasoned.
"That still doesn't explain why she ran into the Captains room." Jean pointed out.
"Well maybe she thought it was her room, their rooms are right next to each other." Bepo theorized.
"Umm. Guys. Why are you whispering?'' you voice, coming up to their little huddle to see what they were talking about.
"Kyaa! Captain!" Penguin screeched.
You looked behind you. "I don't see him. Hey have you guys gotten shorter?" You question, noticing their height differences compared to your own. The crew was at a lost for words.
"Name-chan?" They whispered, unsure of it themselves.
"Yeah? Whats up?" You answered.
The crew became chaotic, shouting nonsense you couldn't quite understanding. Ikkaku brought out a mirror and handed it to you.
"You should look at yourself." She persisted, shoving the mirror in your face. You took the mirror and inspected yourself. Deep piercing eyes. Tan skin. Little goatie.
"Kyaa! Im I'm. Law-ya?" You panicked. But how. You were just yourself just moments ago.
"Wait. You know what this means!? Your the captain!" Penguin and Sachi praise, clearly a little jealous you got to be captain and not them.
"I don't want to be captain!" You holler, looking down at your, or more like Law's hands and then to his toned chest. You were in his body but it was like your spirit was there. Your face instantly flushed. And your heart rate quickened. Wait. Heart?
(A/n. To make this mess less confusing for the both of us. Im gonna write your because youre in his body, even though, technically its actually his. Also I won't switch the hearts with this one even though its suppose to, because I doubt Law's heart is gonna survive a body of water and vise versa.)
You place your hand on your muscular chest, feeling your heart begin to beat at a fast pace.
"Its been so long since my heart actually beat. It feels nice." You gawk at your beating heart.
"Thats so beautiful!" The crew cried crocodile tears at your statement.
You and the crew walked around the sub, scaring other crew members, being in Law's body. You all danced on the deck and ate bread. You didn't understand why he hated it. He wasn't allergic. Maybe it was the way it tasted. Everything went smoothly before you drank your twentieth glass of water.
"Wait I feel weird.. Right here." You motion towards your lower area.
The crew sweet dropped.
"You probably need to go pee." Bepo states innocently.
"Huh?" You say, confused with that statement. You haven't had to use the restroom in forever, as your body no longer required food and you were water. Though you still ate, you didn't dispose of it like normal people would, it would just disintegrate and never bother you later.
"You know. Number 1" Sachi tried to help explain.
" Why?" You say, still puzzled.
"Well your no longer in your body, so you can't keep all your fluids inside you. Ya gotta. You know." The men of the crew were having a very hard time explaining to you what going to the bathroom meant.
Then it dawned on you. "Wait. I can't do that! Im a guy now! " you shout, definitly not ready to see what ever Law had in store down there.
"Okay don't panic. Maybe we can get the captain to switch you both back." Ikkaku came up with a plan so you wouldn't have to embarrass yourself.
"Thats a great idea! But. Wouldn't Law-ya be mad at me for not coming to him sooner when we switched bodies. Im pretty sure we have to be in the same room to be switched back. And we haven't exactly stood in the same place for every long if he tried to find us." You sweat dropped.
The crew became dead silent. They pulled you to Law's door before already knocking and then running away from their deadly captain. Well what friends they are. Leaving me all alone to face Law's evil wrath on my own. You pouted.
A very flustered and disheveled 'you' came from behind the door. When Law spotted you he let out a huff of annoyance. But since he was in your body he looked very cute and not in the least bit angered at all.
You gave a simple wave before being dragged into the room. The place looked like a complete mess. Pillows on the floor, books sprawled around the rooms, paperwork disordered and spread around, and the blankets were untidy. Law must of lost his cool demeaner to be so unorganized as this. In the few times you've been in his room, it was nearly spotless, minus the few papers on his desk, but even they were arranged alphabetically. You had wondered what had happened to him in the twelve hours you were switched.
"Where were you!" He shouted at me. I looked over to see his cute expression.
"Law-ya, I can't take you seriously with that cute face of yours... Or mine?" You state, still confused with the whole body swap mess. His face grew a deep shade of red. Do I really blush that much?
"I'm not cute! You were suppose to be here twelve hours ago! Where did you go with my body?" He squeaked, obviously angered but looked embarrassed instead.
"I only stayed within the submarine." You smiled. You saw him flinch.
"Do I really look that scary when I smile.." He asked himself more than me. "Anyways what's done is done. Im switching us back." He declared with the snap of his fingers. In a matter of seconds you were back in your own body.
"Awwe. My heart doesn't beat anymore.." You pouted, missing the only thing you really liked about being in his body, besides well, being in his body.
Suddenly you were pulled against the wall. Law hovering just above you. The close proximity making your face flush red.
"You know. If you want to hear a beating heart, you could always listen to mine." Law whispered seductively in your ear, sending tingles down being. Before he could get any closer he moved away in a haste. Scurrying out the door and into the next room. You could barely make out the words he was saying, having drank so much water or something. You mentally praised yourself for waiting til you had to go pee before switching bodies again. Running out of his room and back into the safety of your own.
"So captain. Ready for another dance competition?" Uni asked his captain.
"Dont make me lay waste to your grave." Law seethed in anger, drinking from his bottle of wine. Clearly not happy with you making a fool of him. He was definitely going to punish someone.
Mom. I have switched bodies with my captain. Please be sure to greet me when I die.
