Mel's poems

Last Time

I open my eyes
and look around.
I'm lying in a strange bed,
in a strange room.
Al around me people
their faces marked with pain &sorrow
I want to comfort them
wipe away their tears
close them in my arms
but I can't move,
my body not listening.
A loud pieping fills the room
screams and yelling
Men in white coats filling the room
they have a weird machine with them
They put it on me
shocks
again and again.
They stops, more pieping,
more screaming.
I look around again
their faces defeated
filled with grief and sadness.
I close and open my eyes one last time
and close them again
for good this time.
