Toni's POV:
I tapped my foot against the floor, waiting for the bell to ring already so I could escape this hell.
Finally, the noise of joy came. "Class dismissed."
I got my stuff and went to my locker.
After I was done, I went over to Jughead's.
"Hey Jughead."
"Hey Toni."
"You doing anything tonight?"
"Yeah, I was gonna do something with Betty. Why?"
"Why do you hang out with little miss perfect all the time again?"
He rolled his eyes and I let out a laugh. "Trust me. Ditch her and you will have more fun with me and the other Serpent chics at the drive in."
"Toni I h-"
I raised an eyebrow and put my hand up to my ear. "I'm sorry. Is Jughead choosing to have a boring night?"
He shook his head and then let out a sigh.
"You won't regret it."
"Let's have some fun." He said with a smirk and I nodded.
"That's the Juggie I know and love! I'll see you later." I pat him on the back before leaving to go get ready for tonight.
Betty's POV:
I went to go see Jughead since we were gonna hang out later.
Toni and him were talking but me being the person I am decided to eavesdrop.
"You doing anything tonight?" I heard her ask him.
"Yeah, I was gonna do something with Betty. Why?"
"Why do you hang out with little miss perfect all the time again?"
Because little miss perfect over here is his boyfriend bitch!

"Toni I h-"

I hurried and ran into the girls bathroom before she could see me.
I slid down the wall and tears started coming down.
I guess I'm not good enough...
I went back home and then got a text.
I pulled out my phone and saw it was from Jughead:
Jughead- sry Betts I can't come 2night bc of lots of hw I need to catch up on but tmrw we can hang out! Love u❤️
Betty- okay I'll see ya tmrw💕

I rolled my eyes and continued walking.
Toni's POV:
I saw Jughead and gave him a smirk. "Ready to have some fun?"
He smirked. "You bet."
My other Serpent friends were there while Jughead and I were hanging out, but all they did was throw popcorn and talk about how cute Jughead was...which he was.
I think it's safe to say that I have a little crush on Jughead.
Betty's POV:
"Thank you." I told the cashier at the thrift shop as I bought the leather jacket.
I walked out and went back home so I could get ready in this outfit:
I applied some black lipstick and put down my hair to finish off the look.
I let out a sigh as I looked at myself in the mirror once more before I let to go to the drive in.
Once I arrived there, I parked my car in the back so they wouldn't see me.
I hid in the back and saw the two of them talking.
She whispered something in his ear and then they both started laughing.
I went to go get some popcorn and then saw Toni waiting in line.
Once I got my popcorn, she looked at me then pushed me back a little. "Little miss perfect trying to turn to the dark side?"
I rolled my eyes.
"Cute outfit by the way Betsy!"
"I didn't do shit to you so why are you trying to fuck with me right now?"
She laughed. "You knew Jughead and I were gonna be here, didn't you?"
I stayed silent and crossed my arms.
"That's what I thought. He ditched you for a reason Betty! Why turn to the dark side now?! The Serpents are bad people. Opposites attract? Yeah I doubt that!"
"So you're saying he doesn't like me?"
"Love Betty. He doesn't love you." She said looking into my eyes.
Those evil devil eyes of hers.
"He doesn't love you either Toni!" I poured my popcorn on her and handed her the bucket and I saw her mouth drop open.
I went over to Jughead and his eyes widen. "Betty, what are you doing here?"
"Better question to ask is what are you doing here?!"
"Betty, I can explain."
"That it's more fun to spend time with Toni? Yeah I would love for you to explain that shit." I walked away and he started chasing after me.
"Juliet wait!"
"Why bother when you don't even care Jug?"
"But I do care."
I stopped at a place I didn't even know was and then tears came down.
I heard Jughead walk by and he rushed over to me. "Betty-"
"Is Toni better than me?"
"No! Why would you think that?"
"Am I not good enough for you?"
"You are more than enough Betty."
"Sometimes I don't feel like it."
"Why'd you wear this stuff?" I asked her.
"I thought I'd blend in and not be seen but my plan didn't work out correctly as you can see..."
I saw him look at my dark makeup I had on and my dark clothing.
"Seeing you with Toni...I thought you liked her better than me-"
"Because she's a Serpent?"
I nodded and he let out a sigh.
He took my hands in his and looked into my eyes. "Betty, you are the most beautiful girl I've ever met in my entire life. You make me happy every time I see you. You make me laugh daily and you love for who I am."
He lifted up my chin. "Betty I love you. And I'll never stop loving you. You are more than enough! You're better than whatever else a 'dream girl' is supposed to be. You don't have to change, and you're not supposed to. I love you for you. Some dark clothes and makeup isn't gonna change that! Most of all, you are a strong woman. Are you really gonna let Toni bring you down like this?"
I shook my head. "No."
"Good."
I put my arms around his neck and I felt his arms around me, pulling me into a hug.
"I love you Juliet." I heard him whisper in my ear.
"I love you more Romeo."
"Not possible." He replied and I laughed
He pulled me into a kiss that lasted for a few seconds, but it felt like minutes.
(2 Months Later)
"I can't go alone to college Juggie!"
"I'd never leave you and you know that."
I giggled and he placed his lips on mine.
We continued walking to the lockers while holding hands.
"Hey Jug. Hey Betty." I heard Toni say to us.
"Hey Toni." The both of us told her and then we walked away.
We both started laughing as we walked away. "I have to go, but I'll see you after."
"Okay." He said and I pulled him into one last long kiss before I left.
Our hands parted and then I headed towards Riverdale High.
Once I walked in, Kevin and Veronica ran up to me.
"Jughead?" Kevin already knew.
I nodded and started to blush. "I don't regret being late at all."
"This is why I love Bughead." Veronica says and I laughed.
"Come on let's go lovebird!"
She was right, I was in love.
And he loved me for me.
