As I ran into the tree, I instantly looked behind me to make sure no one had seen me. The heat had affected all the cats, big and small. Hunting isn't easy. All the prey are cooling underground, despite the few crows and squirrels we caught. Moonkit had died because of the hunger, and heat. Her death reminded us all of the struggles we go through, not only as a Clan. But, all Clans in the forest and among the stars. I wish that StarClan had taken her quickly.
