Setting: Trey's House, Rolling Hills, California
Demi released a string of moans as she collapsed on top of Trey, combing her hair away from her face as she tried to catch her breath. The glare of the afternoon sun caught the diamond on the engagement ring that she had thrown in his face three weeks ago as she rolled off of him, consequently disconnecting their bodies and causing both of them to release low groans. If what had occurred three weeks ago hadn't happened, she would've stayed. They would've cuddled and she would have fallen asleep with the feel of his fingers running through her scalp. But, their fight had indeed happened. She still had the scar on her hand to prove it, and that's why she wrapped his sheet around her body before standing up and going to grab her clothes that were scattered in front what used to be their bed.
He didn't say anything as she finished cleaning herself up in the bathroom then shimmied back into the baby blue romper that he had stripped her out of, but he watched her with careful eyes. Demi cleared her throat as she zipped the side of the romper, bunching her underwear up in her hands before stuffing it into her Louis Vuitton tote and grabbing her phone. No goodbye. No see you later. Nothing. Instead, she flashed him a small smile, caught one last glance at her ring, and then she was out of the door. It was just the way things were now.
