Sehun's lips brushed against mine, softly at first. It sent shivers through my body, I was probably trembling but I kissed him back, that was my reply.
I felt his fingers brushing away some strands of my hair from my face. Everything seemed to heat up at his touch.
He groaned softly before circling me with his arms, pulling me closer. His kiss intensified, I felt like the whole had disappeared and it was only us two. My fingers gripped his hair, pulling him closer, as if he could be closer than he already was.
The other times we've kissed were like nothing compared to this.
This time, we were both into it, we wanted it. It was as if my insides were melting, I've never wanted anyone like this before.
I heard something rustling a few meters away from us, but I didn't care at all in that moment. Sehun moved slightly back, our lips parted. We were both catching our breath.
We've been probably seen by somebody. I glanced at Sehun.
He was looking directly at me, in my eyes. His gaze was eating me alive.
Another rustle.
Sehun's expression changed. We broke in a laugh.
"This happened way too many times." I commented. There was always somebody interrupting us.
"I don't care anymore." Sehun replied before pulling me closer again.
I stopped his lips before they could be pressed against mine with my index.
"Yeah but I do." I chuckled. "We're still in front of Luhan's room." I whispered in shock at the realization. I turned around to walk away.
I watched him smile out of the corner of my eye as he followed me.
Right when we turned around the corner, Tao and Kris were standing there.
Tao grinned mischievously at Sehun. I blushed as Sehun pushed me forward by placing his hands on my shoulders.
They silently watched us while we walked away.
"I swear, everyone knows everything in this family." I pouted.
"Well then, at least everybody knows you're mine."
I shoved my fist against his chest. "When did I agree to that?"
We were already in front of my room now.
"I think it was clear from your actions." He stated.
"I only respond back." I glared at him.
"That's exactly as telling me that you agree on being mine." He smirked.
"No it's not!" I slightly opened the door to my room. "Why isn't it agreeing on you being mine then?"
"I never said I wasn't yours." He smiled in amusement as I blushed again.
"You drive me crazy." I sighed before walking in my room.
"In every way." He winked at me through the crack of the door.
I shut the door close at him, but then I heard him chuckle from the other side.
"See you tomorrow-" He raised his voice "Halfblood."
I flopped down in my bed, burying my face in the sheets as I felt my cheeks burning like crazy, but I was smiling.

The next morning I woke up to a really nice fragrance. Since my room was really close to the kitchen, D.O. was probably making somethig. It was definitely for something special since he had woken up so early in the morning, I walked to the room.
"Good morning." I said and he greeted me back.
My eyes fell on the ingredients he was using.
"Are you making a dessert?" I asked as I looked at the vanilla flowers on the table.
"A cake, to be more precise." He replied.
"A cake?" It was the first time he decided to do that.
"Yes, a cake." He looked up at me. "It's Sehun's birthday today."
"You guys know your birthdays?" I was mesmerized. I didn't know mine, since I lived almost all of my life as a servant at Naryssa's atelier, we only celebrated hers.
"You don't know yours?" He was surprised. "Just ask Luhan, you're twins and I'm sure he knows the day he was born since he's a prince, it's important for them."
"Right." I could've asked Luhan but the thought never hit me actually.
Then, another thought popped up in my mind. "Wait-" I stuttered. "It's Sehun's birthday?!"
Kyungsoo chuckled. "Yeah and you should at least help me with this so I can say it's your gift for him too."
"Thank you so much D.O. you're a life saver." I grinned as he passed me a wooden spoon.
"By the way, I didn't expect demons to celebrate birthdays." I said as I was mixing the ingredients in my bowl.
"We're kinda special." He replied. "Oh and I forgot to tell you, but Krystal and Amber are coming too."
"Is it safe for them to come here?"
"For now, yes."

It was Sehun's birthday and he didn't even tell me. How was I supposed to know? I bumped my head against the wall.
I've only ever celebrated Naryssa's birthday, but we weren't even supposed to get her something, it was only a special day since she always became happier and strangely kind towards us servants.
How did demons even celebrate their birthday?
I sighed as I pulled my forehead away from the cold surface.
I came to a conclusion, it was better for me to wait for Krystal and Amber to see what they and the others were going to do.
As I was walking towards the kitchen, I suddenly felt something grabbing me and pulling me in a room.
"Nice timing, I was about to go to your room." Sehun was observing me.
"Uhm?" I furrowed my brows. "What is it now?"
Okay, Nayla you're doing this wrong. It's his birthday.
"I wanted to see you." He declared.
"Well, you're seeing me right now." I shrugged. "Can I leave now?"
With that being said, I quickly averted him and walked fast to the kitchen.
Such a great birthday you're giving him, I thought, but I was soon interrupted from my thoughts. Krystal and Amber had arrived!
"Look at who's here." Amber smiled.
I greeted them and I noticed Krystal seemed annoyed by something, but I wasn't sure if it was okay to ask her about it.
"How have you two been?" I said instead.
"Great-" replied Amber. "-Krystal and I have done a lot of things in your absence."
"We convinced a few families that you and your brother are not harmful. It helped to quiet down some demons a bit." Krystal interrupted. "We're not sure how much we can trust them though. We haven't told them we know you."
"You did well, I don't want you two to be in danger as well, only because of me." I replied. "And thanks a lot for being on our side."
"We're great cousins." Amber laughed.
"And great friends." I added.
"Great cousins? Where??" Baekhyun protested, but he wasn't being serious.
I noticed Kai looking at Krystal and I couldn't help but have a small smile creep in my face.
Krystal though was ignoring him.
"What are you smiling to yourself?" I heard Sehun as he walked in.
"None of your business." I bit back and he smirked.
"Did they marry already?" Krystal asked in shock. I furiously blushed at the thought that we were actually supposedly engaged.
"Did we? Who knows." Sehun smirked again.
"Shut up and stop it." Kyungsoo smacked the back of his head. I laughed.
"Anyway-" Krystal grabbed my wrist. "-let's go to your room." She said before taking me and Amber with her.
As soon as we got in, Krystal started to go through my closet. I watched her as I felt confused and lost.
"What's up with her?" I looked towards Amber who was comfortably sitting on the bed.
"She probably thinks you can't meet Sehun looking like that." She shrugged.
"Yes, she definitely needs a nice dress." Krystal spoke as she was staring at my clothes.
"What is wrong with what I'm wearing?"
"Nothing, but you know Krystal." answered Amber, next to me.
"I wish I had brought my clothes." Krystal sighed.
"Well, you can. You know, we have Kai." Amber pointed out.
"No way." replied Krystal.
"You should bring them." I slightly smiled. "I'm curious to see what's so good about your dresses." It wasn't actually true, I didn't care at all, but if it meant for her to go with Kai, I was totally up for that.
"Fine, fine!" She said as she headed towards the door. "I'll be the fastest as possible."
"You can take your time." Amber rolled her eyes while I smiled again as Krystal walked out.
"She's not going to be back for a while, huh?" Amber slumped down on my bed.
"We'll see." I chuckled.
Amber and I were reading a medicine book I got from Suho's collection when Krystal finally teleported back with Kai.
I didn't expect her face could become so red. Kai looked awkwardly stiff too.
"I'll go now." He declared before walking away.
Krystal remained silent for a few seconds but she started to show me the clothes she had brought soon after.
"This is one of my favorites." She was holding a long black dress with straps. I don't really have to specify the color because demons wear always black, but anyway it wasn't that bad so I tried it.
It didn't look good on me at all. My figure wasn't like Krystal's at all, she was beautiful while I was pretty average I think. My hips were wider than hers and my waist was bigger. It was impossible for me to fit that dress.
"I think I'll stick to my clothes." I said. I was actually not that sad about it since I didn't really like wearing fancy things.
"No, no, don't worry, I brought something else in case this didn't fit." She smiled. "We can pair up this skirt with something from your closet." She said as she handed me the black skirt.
She managed to find eventually a shirt for me, so I changed in those. I felt weird, but it wasn't that bad.
We were walking towards the big hall where the others were supposed to be when both Krystal and Amber said they had to go back to take something.
I walked alone to the room.
As soon as I got in, the doors behind me closed.
"This was totally planned." I heard Sehun's frustrated voice.

This is so weird because I never expected people would like my stories, I'm so happy right now (actually, I keep saying that, sorryy but I really am!)
+ I know 5k is nothing compared to many other books, but for me it's a huge number because I didn't even expect to get 100 reads. I still remember how happy I was when I got merely 20 reads at the beginning lmao
