Ryder POV
I wake up with my body able to move, I was wearing black sweats with a black v-neck, my body felt weird. I can hear every thing, I can hear everyone laughing downstairs and I can hear the birds chirping outside. My sense of smell was incredible, I can smell the food downstairs and the scent of Kayden all over this room. Is this what an alpha
Sense? I get up and make my way downstairs where Kayden's and my family are sitting laughing about something. I don't think they realize I was there until I spoke
"Did I miss something?" I asked
"Ryder your alright!" Victoria said does she always look professional? she was wearing a black fitted dress with red high heels. Her hair straight as ever and looks like a model, everyone came to hug me and asked if I was alright. I said yes and I was looking for Kayden, he wasn't here......In fact none of my brothers are here either, Joseph and Sam are gone too where can they be? I shrugged it off, I sat next to Omar and Victoria. Her and the girls were having a blast by talking about nails and girly things while Omar and I were talking about other things. I missed how things use to be, we have all grown so much in the past two month especially me. I wouldn't want someone like Joel to ruin it, Oh my goodness Joel! I told Omar to come with me to Kaydens office for a moment, we both walk over there and I took out a file about Joel
"what is this about?" he asked
"Well remember Kevin?"
"Yeah"
"His uncle, Joel, wants to avenge his death so he thought that the pack that killed him was the red blood pack and I told him he was wrong, anyways he's looking for my-this pack" I said
"So let's find him before he finds us" he said
"How?! I don't know were to start, he hasn't shown any sign of him here!"
"What if-" Victoria came in the room looking scared, Omar went to her side and I did too
"What's wrong?" I asked
"The boys-" I didn't let her finish I ran downstairs and I saw all of my brothers, Sam, Joseph, and Kayden hurt. I felt Victoria and Omar behind me, I growled and went to Kayden
"What happened?!" I asked angrily
"We were fighting eachother for a bet" he said and smiled faintly, he sat down so I can see him eye to eye, I slap the back of his head hard
"Ow! what was that for!"
"For doing that stupid bet! you just got out of a coma Two days ago. You shouldn't be doing stupid things that can get you hurt, dumbass!" I shouted and Nicole walked right behind me
"Kayden Bennett! you did this all for a bet!"
"We are ashamed of you guys!" my mama yelled
"What was the bet?" Papa and Michael asked
"It was sorta like 'who's stronger than who' but Who ever won gets five bucks" Sam said
"Samuel Jackson! I can have this pup any day now and you want to do this for a stupid bet! Ugh I can believe guys are such Idiots" Genesis said and walked out the room with all of the girls, I stayed because they were going to talk about thing I hate.
"Who won the bet?" I asked
"I did" Raymond said and smiled, I shook my head, I told them all to go to Kaydens office. We walk inside and the file I left on his desk was still there
"New problem" I stated
"What is that?" Raymond said
"Kevin's Uncle, Joel. He wants to Avenge his death, he threatened Joseph's pack because he thought that his pack was the one that killed him" I said Kayden sat on his chair and I sat on his lap
"Really?" Papa said
"Here" I said giving the file to him "we all need to find him before he does but I don't know where to start"
"How can we lure him in?" Ronnie asked
"He saw Ryder before so we can make him see her" Richard asked
"Okay me and Richard should go back to red blood pack and find him " I said
"No!" Kayden said "I'm not putting you in danger, no way. I don't want you out of my sight" he said and i rolled my eyes
"Yes I will, I won't get hurt" I said in a duh tone, he gave me a warning look. I got up from his lap and walked to my brothers and papa
"You think we can do something?" I whispered to them
"We'll see can I take this home?" papa asked
"Yeah sure, I have another copy at the pack house" I said my mama and the girls walked inside and said goodbye so did everyone else. Once everyone left I walked to Kaydens room and changed into pajamas and Kaydens hands were on my waist, I turned around and craned my head up to look at him.
"Why don't you want me to go back there?" I asked
"Because I don't want the same thing to happen to you two months ago" he said
"It won't happen again" I reassured him and he looked away, I went on my toes to put my hands in his face to make him look at me "hey, I'm an alpha now. I'm a lot stronger" I whispered
"Yeah but the power is too strong for you, you need me to help you control that power" he whispered back at me, i cup his neck and I pulled him closer to me. I kissed him, He carried me so he didn't had to bend down. He bit my lip, I still was confused why he does that, he squeeze my hip and I yelp. He took that advantage to slip his tongue in my mouth, he deepen the kiss going to every corner in my mouth. He walked to the bed and laid me down without parting away from each other, I haven't felt this needy in two months. His hand was going all over my body, I moaned when he kissed my mark he gave me. I was breathing hard and I wanted him inside me, I moaned out his name. He started to take my clothes off, he was licking, sucking my bare breast.
"Argh! Kayden!" I moaned "I want you"
"I know baby just wait" he said
"No! I want you inside me, now" I moaned I felt him grin, He started to take his clothes off and thrusted into me.
I woke up feeling sore, last night was one of the best nights I have ever had. I felt his arm around my waist, when I turned my body to face him, he was still asleep. He look so young, like his age. He usually look more than just twenty one years old but when he's sleeping he looks twenty one. I saw his eyes flutter open, he smiled.
"Morning beautiful" he said
"Morning, last night was what I needed" I said
"Yeah me too" he said and kissed my forehead, he got up and put on a pair of black pajama bottoms. He walked to the bathroom and brushed his teeth, I got up and grab his white t-shirt on the floor and put it on. It looks like a dress on me, I felt like a child wearing her fathers shirts. I walk to the bathroom, he saw what I was wearing and he smiled. Kayden got out the room to let me brush my teeth, when i was finished i put my hair in a messy bun and walked down stairs. He was in front of the stove, cooking breakfast for us, I put my arms around his waist.
"Can I help?" I asked
"No but you can watch" he said
"I'll just make us a protein shake" I said and he nodded, I started to cut the bananas and the strawberries. I put them in the blender and added ice and milk into it, I finally put in the protein powder and mixed it until it everything was blended. When I finished I poured them into the cups. I sat on the breakfast bar wait for my food, he served me a pancakes with beacon and eggs, also sausages. We started to eat, I didn't want things to be quiet so I spoke
"So, how was it?" I asked
"What do you mean?"
"In the coma, what's it like?"
"Like being asleep and dreaming about things but I was dreaming about you."
"What was I doing in this dream?"
"It was when I met you, when we were in Sams office and you rejected me" he said I remembered that day, it was the craziest thing I had ever done. I smirked at the memory, It also made me think about our first date when he begged me to be his mate and I accepted, I wondered what would happen if I didn't accept it, I can't imagine him not as my mate. I love him and he's mine, only mine. I want to show the world that I'm his, but it feels as if being his soul mate wasn't enough. We started talking about our childhood and then to sports, I love talking to him like this.
"I love you" He said
"I love you too" I said and smiled "you know this is the first time i've felt happy in two months?"
"No, were you that depressed?" he asked
"It was like you died and I felt that pain, it got worse every day so to avoid the pain I started doing the Alpha work" I said
"I'm sorry, we've been arguing for the past few days and I wasn't making you feel any better"
"Don't be, I think we were sexually frustrated" I said and laughed, he grinned. I kissed him, When I heard the door bell. Kayden growled, we walked to the door and he opened it
"What?!" He shouted and I slap his arm
"Don't be rude" I said and I open the door wider to see Sam with Genesis.
"My water just broke" She said
