I can feel him,
Creeping in the darkness.
Spidery fingers,
Reaching for the hem of my shirt.
I can feel his presence,
As the room drops twenty below.
I am freezing,
Burning,
Numb.
I bury my face under the sheets.
Pain grows in my chest.
He's here; he wants to talk.
The weight presses me into my creaking mattress.
I can feel his protective arms around me once again.
The smell of vanillla and spice fill my lungs.
I can smell the tangerine of his hair lingering on my pillow.
Pure bliss.
Pure lust.
He whispers in a hoarse, sweet, sad tone... to me.
Sweet dreams beautiful.
I can feel his smile.
Sweet dreams to you too sweetheart.
The pressure is lifted, but I still feel his comforting, muscular embrace.
*Alarm Sounds*
It's 5:25 a.m.
No one is here.
I am alone.
He is gone.
He never was here.
He is dead.
He's been dead.
