Chapter 5

He went back to work pondering whether or not he should tell somebody about this whole situation. He felt crazy, he was now wondering if it had all been a dream, maybe he was drugged? Maybe he was the crazy one and not her. But still last night was as real as the chair he was sitting on. It was impossible, he wasn’t crazy. I mean his memory was a little faulty sometimes, but he knew what happened. He knew that he wasn’t crazy and he knew something fishy was going on. He decided not to tell anyone and keep it to himself. He finished up his day at work trying not to think of the notion that something like this could be happening to him…later that night he took his pills wishing he knew where the other ones went, but nevertheless downing one after another. After he swallowed his pills he turned on his music. Something to ease his mind. He laid down and tried to fall asleep. The music was very setting. He felt himself falling easily into a peaceful sleep…until he heard it for the first time…that whisper in the noise…
