My name is Jordan Sweeto. I am a seventeen -almost eighteen- year old boy. I live with my mother and two sisters in a house made up of wood and glass. Mainly glass so I can see outside of my eternal home.
Why is it my eternal home?
Because I can't ever go outside of this place. If I did, I'd die.
I have a rare disease called Sever Combined Immunodeficiency. All it means is that I don't have enough T Cells and B Cells in my blood. It's caused by numerous genetic mutations that result in heterogeneous clinical presentations. Basically, it's a genetic disease that just happened to come into my life.
I'm very vulnerable to infectious diseases. Even if I'm outside for one second, I could contract pneumonia. It sucks. A lot.
There are a few good sides to this disease. I don't have to socialize as often. I don't have to attend public school. Most of all, I don't have to form strong friendships or relationships with a lot of people.
Which would probably be impossible due to the fact that only four or five people know I'm alive.
Those people are my Mom, two sisters, a nurse named Ashley, and his daughter, Winter. His husband, Andy, may know about me as well. I don't know.
I hope I can meet someone else. Being around the same people all my life is boring. I hope I can find someone to relate to. Maybe a boyfriend? Or a girlfriend?
I may not find them here but I hope I can find them Somewhere In Neverland.
