"I just feel like I have no one. Nicolle is gone, Aiden is gone, my parents can't look at me" I told my therapist
"You do not have no one. You have your other family members, you can move to them after I believe you're well. You just have to believe that you can get better" He said trying to look me in the eye, but I looked anywhere else
"Nicolle is dead now, I don't have friends" I said completely ignoring his last comment
"Cecilia, I would like if you took this journal" He said handing me a journal which I took hesitantly "I would very much like it if you wrote down all of your thoughts and all your feelings, it'll help us treat you" He said with a kind smile. Maybe there is hope yet, maybe I'll get better and my parents will need me again, maybe I'll make a new friend and maybe even find love
I walked out of the building to my car and felt different than usual. I felt like even though I knew I had no one, I could still get through this, until I got home and saw all of Nicolle's things and the weight of the world was back on my shoulders. I sighed and sat down, already having things to write
