Matthew's POV: (short POV)
"It's time to wake up Dylan. " I shook him slightly making him groan a little before opening his eyes slowly. "Morning Dylan. Happy Birthday." I place a kiss on his lips making him grin widely before sitting up on the bed.
"Thanks gummy bear. Where's Caydon?"
"I've brought him to school already. You've slept in today." He stared at the clock beside him before smiling at me sheepishly. "Don't worry. It's your birthday after all. Here. I've made you breakfast." Setting the tray of food down, he smiled warmly before placing a kiss on my cheek.
"Wow. Thanks love. It looks wonderful as usual. Have you eaten?" I shook my head lightly, making him frown.
"I'm not hungry. I'll eat later." I smiled lightly at him as he stared at me with worried filled eyes.
"Are you sure you don't have to see the doctor again?"
Dylan's POV:
Before he can even reply, he stood up from the bed swiftly before running into the toilet like his life depended on it.
"Are you sure that you're alright?" I rubbed his back once again as he released liquids into the toilet bowl. Damn...I really have to go and see all the products I buy. I can't have him vomiting everyday. It's worrying. Stupid soy.
"Yeah. Don't worry Dylan. I'm fine. Go and eat your food."
"Shout for me if you need help okay?" He nodded before shooing me out of the bathroom.
Finishing up my breakfast, I changed into my suit for later and slid the ring box into my pocket, double checking that the ring is inside. "I'll be going to work now."
"Okay. Take care. I love you." Matthew came out of the kitchen and place a kiss on my lips. It became sort of like a morning routine.
"I will. I love you too Matthew. I'll see you later?"
"Yup. I'll be there."
"Remember to wait for Emily at the entrance. She will bring you and Caydon up."
"Okay. Now go. You're already very late. Love you."
"Love you too. Bye love."
I can't wait to put the ring on him.
Matthew's POV:
Placing his cake into the fridge, I set the birthday present and card on his bed, before changing into my attire which Dylan have chosen for me last month. Hopefully he doesn't think that the note is too cheesy. 12:30pm... I should go and pick Caydon up now.

"We going see daddy now?" Caydon asked excitedly as he changed into his suit.
"Yes love. You look so handsome today." He grinned a little before posing.
"More handsome than daddy?" Oh that cheeky little boy.
"Yes. So you can't tell daddy okay?" He nodded before taking my hand as we walked out of the school and down the road. Caydon is handsome but Dylan's hot and sexy. Don't tell him that I say that.
"Oh! Look at those flowers mummy! They're so pretty." He tugged my hand, pointing at a flower boutique. Should I get flowers for Dylan? Does he even like flowers? I haven't give him any present for his award though...
"Welcome! What are you looking for Sir?"
"Hi Miss, do you have any suggestions on what flowers to buy for someone as congrats?"
"Who is it for?"
"My boyfriend..."
"How about red roses? 10 of them? Red roses represents true love, congratulations, "I Love You" and even "Job Well Done" and 10 of them represents 'You are perfection.' "
"Okay. Thanks a lot Miss."
"No problem."
"Mummy, can I get one rose for daddy too?" Caydon tugged against my pants, giving me the puppy eyes.
"Sure Cade. Which one?"
"The pink one! They say pink means love. I love daddy so I want to get a pink one for daddy. Can I?" He asked eagerly as I chuckled at his cuteness. He didn't have to use the puppy eyes on me at all. I'll buy it for him.
"Of course." Patting his head, I handed the florist the stalk of rose and asked her to help me wrap it up too.
"Thank you mummy. I love you."
"I love you too Caydon. You're welcome."
"Here you go. Have a nice day." Paying her the money, we bid our goodbyes before continuing our way.

"Mummy look! Auntie Emmy is there!" Caydon pulled my arm enthusiastically as Emily waved at us from the other side of the zebra crossing. "Let's go to Auntie Emmy!" Before I can even grab his hand, he dashed across the road blindly as a truck sped towards him.
No....No!
*honk honk!* Caydon stood there frozen as he stared at the incoming truck with fear.
"Caydon!" Dashing across the road, I pushed him out of the way by mere seconds before I felt a sharp pain hitting my side hard, paralyzing my whole body. It hurts...pain...it's so painful...
"MUMMY!" Caydon screamed as he ran towards me. Why are there two Caydons?
"Matthew! Matthew, stay with us! Someone call the ambulance! Quickly!" Why is Emily shouting? Why is Caydon crying?
"D-Don't...cry...Ca-cay...don."
"I'm sorry mummy! I'm sorry! I love you mummy! Please don't go!" I lifted my hand up weakly, ignoring the pain shooting through me as Caydon grabbed my hand in his quickly.
"I l-love....y-you...to-" Suddenly, a metallic taste filled my mouth, choking me as it blocked my airway.
"Mummy! Wake up! Don't go mummy!" I felt myself slipping into darkness as my vision turned darker and darker. I'm sorry Caydon. I'm tired...Sorry...Dylan...
Dylan's POV:
Where are they? They should be up by now.
"Dylan!" The doors slammed open to reveal a frenzied looking Emily with blood on her dress...no...it can't be. It can't be. It's j-just red wine r-right?
Everyone turned to stare at her as I ran towards her immediately as tears fell from her eyes.
"What happened Emily? What happened?!" I grabbed her shoulders tightly as I controlled myself from running out.
"I-It's Matthew! He got hit by a truck and he's bleeding profusely! He's not going to make it!" No...
Matthew! Don't leave me Matthew! I love you! I love you! Please, don't leave me!
Dashing downstairs blindly, a crowd has formed at the entrance as sirens could be heard from far.
"Move away! Get loss!" I pushed my way through the crowd only to fall on my knees at the sight.
"Matthew. Wake up Matthew." I shook him slightly hoping that he'll wake up and say that it was all a joke but his eyes remained shut as Caydon cried at a side.
"Matthew, wake up please. Wake up! Wake up Matthew! Wake up! Don't leave me! Matthew! I love you Matthew! Please don't leave me!" Tears poured down as he lay lifelessly in my arms as blood soaked through his whole shirt and mine.
"Check for his heartbeat Dylan!"
Laying him down carefully, I pressed my ears against his chest, hoping to hear something.
Even if it's just a 'thump'.
Just something.
Anything.
More tears flowed down my face when I heard nothing. My heart ached painfully as I cried out loudly in anguish. There's not even a slightest sound.
No...this can't be true...it can't be...no....no...NO!

This is so embarrassing. I cried writing this chapter. It's almost like I can feel all of my beloved characters emotions. Did anyone else cry?
