*BETHANYS POV*
Kenny wasn't on the bus again. Ugh I really need to talk to him. What's wrong with Kenny? He seems so weird. I hope he okay. I texted Kenny to see if he's okay.
Bethany:
Hey, is everything okay? Can we talk?
*no reply*
Bethany:
Please answer!!
Why aren't you answering?!?!
HELLO!!
I've decided to ask my mom if I can stop by his house. I need to know what's wrong.
My mom allows me to walk over there. I run about half a mile. I finally reach his house and I knock on the door. Nobody answered. I just opened the door. I ran up to his room and couldn't find him. Where is he? I went to the bathroom. I was scared to open the door. I turn the knob and the door is locked. I run downstairs and I grab a knife and slide it in between the doors, and finally it opened.
I see Kenny sitting there with a bottle of pills as he suddenly gulps half the bottle! Oh my gosh!
"KENNY!!!!" I scream and shove my fingers in his throat. His face gets red and he throws them up.
"Beth! What are you doing" he says as he coughing crazily.
"Don't ever scare me like that again!" He falls down and I catch him and I lay him on his lap. I look at him in the eyes. I never noticed how blue his eyes were. They had a gold ring around them and it was a dark blue and got lighter as it got closer to the pupil. His eyes are gorgeous. I kiss him on the forehead and he smiles.
"I don't ever want to go through that again. I love you Kenny and you have no idea how bad that would've hurt me if you just died" I say and he hugs me. So hard. I lay down where he was and I fall asleep on his chest.
I wake up and we don't go to school that morning. I wake him up because I wanna know what happened.
"Kenny, wake up. I wanna talk to you" I say with a groan.
"Did we seriously sleep here?" He says confused like.
"Yeah, tell me what happened" I demand.
He lets out a big breath. "I was late to school, my alarm didn't go off. Then I was late to school and I didn't get the chance to get in the gifted program. I told the teacher that my alarm didn't go off and he cut me off and told me to get out..." He says with big red puffy eyes.
"Then..." He says. I suddenly get worried because he puts his head in his hands and I hear sniffles. I quickly wrap my arms around him. I feel so bad.
"Then people started making fun of me at school and I didn't care at first, but they started pushing me to the ground and one of them kicked me. I told my mom but she didn't care. She told me that I was being stupid and she told me to go to my room. Then she said she was going to the bar." I listen to him when even I'm in tears. I feel so bad. I love Kenny and I hate seeing him like this. I can't handle it.
