Ryder POV
My heart was lifted, when I heard that, My mates finally awake I need to see him! I miss him, I hung up the phone and I glanced at the alphas
"I have to go, I'm very sorry" I said
"Is everything alright Alpha Morris?" Bernard asked it did felt weird when He called me 'Alpha' I didn't like it
"Oh yes, Kayden is awake, I must go" I said and Joseph got up as well, we both stormed out of the office and we grab our things, Joseph told Richard and Victoria to get there thing. I couldn't wait to see my mate, he's awake! When we were on the plane I called Sam
"Hello?"
"I'm going to be there in a few hours make sure the car is there"
"Do you want Kayden to go?" he asked
"No! he doesn't know that I'm on my way there I want it to keep it like that" I ordered
"Okay" he said and hung up, I leaned my head back against the chair and fell to sleep
'Ryder? Ryder?!" that Voice was familiar, I was in a plain white room with no furniture. I turn to see who it was and it was Kayden but that wasn't Kaydens voice. I ran to him I was in his arms, it felt cold and unwelcoming. Why? I pulled away and looked at him
'Kayden your awake' I said
'Of course I am, I've always been' he said pulled me into a hug and I heard a gun shot. I pulled away and i saw someone shoot his stomach, I glanced down at my hands and I was holding the gun, i shot Kayden Bennett.
'Why?' he said
I woke up screaming, the pain in my chest was worse. I screamed again, I was on the plane and Everyone was at my side, even Alyssa.
"T-The P-Pain" I said
"Why does she still have the pain?" Victoria asked
"It must be because her wolf still thinks Kayden is dead" Richard said
"Just hold on for wait ten more Minutes" Victoria reassured me, I started to think about other things for the next ten minutes, when we arrive the pain wasn't hurting that much. I got out the plane and I saw the Red Chevrolet Camero, I walked to the car and slid into the car. I turned it on and wait for them to get in.
"Whose car is this?" Joseph asked
"It's Kaydens, he doesn't use it so I wanted to Use it" I said and started to drive, I started to get nervous about seeing him. Does he still like me? does he remember me? I was so nervous and so excited, I hope he remembers me.
Kaydens POV
"Hello Sam" it was my mothers voice, I wanted to open my eyes but my body isn't obeying me. Why isn't it obeying me?
"Hello Mrs. Bennett" he said
"What's wrong" my father said
"It's Ryder" he said Ryder! My Ryder, is she hurt? So help me if she's hurt I will kill someone.
"What's wrong with her?" My mom said
"She's dying" Sam said and my eyes instantly shot open, my vision was blurry. My eyes were adjusting the light
"Kayden!" My mother shouted
"What's wrong with Ryder?" I asked
"You heard that?" Sam asked
"Yes, why is she dying?"
"Her brother Raymond told me that Richard said she was dying from the pain she was getting from her chest. Apparently her wolf thinks your dead" he said
"Where is she?" I asked I need to see her, she needs to know i'm not dead. She has to stop grieving about me
"She's at a meeting and a challenge"
"Why aren't you doing that?!" I almost shouted
"Ryder demanded me to, she wanted to do it and we argue, she won obviously" he muttered
"I need to see her"
"Whoa there You need to be check up on and she's at a meeting she said she'll be here by tomorrow so don't worry" Sam said and I nodded hoping this day will go by fast
Ryder POV
I parked my car in front of the pack house. I got out the car and ran inside, the pain in my chest came again. I fell to the floor, I grunted and got up. I slowly made my way to the room Kayden was in. The pain got worse, I screamed, all the energy was gone. The pain I can't, it's too much, my vision was blurred. The scent of Kayden hit me, I force myself to get up and I walked to the scent. My vision was coming back, before I knew it I was standing in front of a door, it was the room Kayden was in, I opened it
I saw his 6'6 body facing the wall, his head snap toward me. He's here, awake, I felt tears coming down my face. The pain instantly vanish into thin air, he was my cure to this unbearable pain. My mate, his big brown eyes lit up and his brown hair was sticking up, he was wearing a white shirt that showed his muscles perfectly and blue jeans, his feet were bare. I couldn't believe this, it was almost a dream. Every second felt like minutes, every minute felt like hours, every hours felt like days, every days felt like months and every month felt like years. that's what it felt like when Kayden was in a coma
"Kayden" I whispered that was the only thing I could say, I saw him grin
"Yeah babe it's me " he said and I ran to him, I hugged him, he lifted me up and buried his face in my neck. Tingles coursed through my body, how I missed those feelings
"Missed me?" he asked
"Not a chance" I whispered and he chuckled it send shivers down my spine. I kissed him, his tongue went in my mouth to deepen the kiss. He pulled away and set me down, he touching my bruise gently
"What happened there?" he said i remembered my opponent had punch me in the face
"Challenger, nothing Important" I said his thumb brushed my tears away, I looked up at him and I finally felt safe.
"I waited two months for you, why didn't you wake up?" I whispered
"I wanted to believe me I do, but I couldn't not until I heard you were dying that's when I woke up" he said
"All it took was for me to be dying to wake you?"
"I'm sorry, I'm here now that's all that Matters......i'll make it up to you" he said and kissed my forehead "let's go"
"No, we can't, Omar needs to check up on you" I said and folded my arms
"He already did, before you came here" he said he took my hand and we walked out the room, Joseph and Victoria was waiting for us outside his room. Their eyes lit up when they saw Kayden, Victoria walked toward him and gave him a hug so did Joseph
"Thank goodness your okay, I thought you-" she turned around and ran off in her high heels, I ran after her and saw her hug Omar. I stared at her confused, She knows Omar? She pulled away from him and turn to look at me, she blushed and Omar scratch the back of his neck awkwardly and Victoria spoke
"Oh Ryde-"
"What's going on?" I asked
"I found my mate" Omar said and looked at Victoria, my jaw drop to the floor never In a million years I would have thought Victoria's mate is Omar, her eyes lit up even more. Omar wraps his arm around her waist, I hear Kayden growl behind me. I turn around to see An angry red eye Kayden, He started to walk toward him. I touch his chest and started to calm him down
"Okay calm down......thats Victorias mate" I said but it wasn't working, he started walking toward Omar.
"Kayden!" I said he wasnt listening, He grab Omar by the neck and pinned him against the wall "Kayden Bennett if you don't put him down so help me God I will take you down" I roared and he obeyed, he dropped him and walked away. Victoria looked as if she was going to cry
"Don't cry" I said
"He doesn't want him as my mate" she sobbed
"That's not true and if it is then he'll have to suck it up, trust me it takes time" I reassured her and she nodded, I smiled and walked away. I had to see if Kayden was alright.
