I sat nervously on the stairs, biting my lip. Ray was coming to pick me up for prom. Gerard walks past and giggles at me.
"What ?"
I ask, crossing my arms.
"Don't be nervous bro, He's going to be here, okay ?"
I nod fiddle with my hair. I hear a knock on the front door.
"That should be your lover boy,"
Gerard says smirking and he walks away. I get up and answer the door. Ray is standing there, in a suit, holding a red rose.
"Hello my dear,"
He says, smiling. My cheeks turn pink and I take the rose.
"You look beautiful,"
He says and brings my hand to his mouth and kisses it. I blush even harder and giggle like a school girl who got noticed by her crush.
"You look so handsome,"
I say and kiss his cheek.
"Go already !"
Gerard yells from the kitchen. Ray laughs and holds out his hand.
"C'mon, let's go,"
I take his hand and follow him out the door.
He leads me to his car and opens the door for me.
"Such a gentleman,"
I giggle and get into the car. Ray gets into the drivers seat.
As we're driving, Ray points out the window to the sky.
"Look Mikey ! The sky is so pretty !"
He glances at me.
"Why aren't you looking ?"
He asks. I smile to myself.
"Because there is something more beautiful that I'd rather look at,"
"And that is..?"
He says, clearly confused.
"You, silly !"
I exclaim and kiss his cheek. I kiss his neck gently and Ray chuckles quietly and leans his head to the side.
"Don't make me crash this car, Mikes, stop being so cute,"
He says, trying to sound stern.
"Okay, okay,"
I say holding my hands up defensively.
"Asshole,"
I mumble under my breath, smirking.
"Bitch,"
Ray murmurs, trying not to smile but failing.
"I love you,"
He mutters.
"I love you too, sweetie,"
